This is very weird form of anti-solipsistic sophistry. Note how it starts: "If someone so much as says “my boyf–” on social media, they’re muted." "They're muted", not "I mute them"; the ideology of hypoagency extends, with these people, even to their own direct actions. But despite the total lack of power over anything they experience, they STILL take pride in it; it's still a source of achievement, even while they insist it's not something they achieve.

This would be baffling to any outsider, as I'm sure many of you can feel. But to an autist- one who doesn't understand prioritizing the search for status that dominates the lives of so many allists- it's utterly incomprehensible. A typical toddler, regardless of gender, would dismiss this kind of reasoning as nonsense; the temptation to just dismiss this by asking "what the hell does puberty DO to you people?" and letting it drop is quite strong.

Many women feel pressure to appear independent, but in reality society is still hypergamous.

My girlfriend feels much safer with me around. You can guess which one of us has the skill and confidence to do home maintenance. Most women still want to be financially provided for at least in part.

My girlfriend doesn’t buy into feminist B.S., including the idea it’s embarrassing to have a boyfriend. I feel kinda sad for women who do give into such nonsense. It puts their expectations and actual wants at odds.

Not to turn this into politics (although its hard not to), I think what's fascinating about this is the little easter eggs in there like someone making the comment of "Why does having a boyfriend feels republican?" Its very subtle propaganda given the benefactors of Vogue have very deep roots in the democratic party.

Liberal women feel so empowered from little jabs like this, yet also not wrap their heads around why men would see this and feel further turned off from the democratic party.

Gavin Newsom has at least started pulling some traction by hosting speakers like Scott Galloway and Richard Reeves to address and recognize men's issues, and this totally destroys some of their progress.

They're literally implying that being in a heterosexual relationship is republican. Why on earth would a straight male want to support any divergence from their ability to obtain that for themselves?
