I don't agree with this statement at all. My mother is obsessed with me getting married.

I have through my own experiences and other people's experiences and personal research decided it's not for me. Therefore, children are free to have their own opinions and viewpoints that are different from their parents.

You can do all in your power to raise your kids right, but they also have free will to make their own choices.

It's not the father's fault. It is society's fault. A woman goes off to college and outside of her father's sight and it's over. I went to college, I had the entire experience. Women talk about slutting casually as "I got that out of my system in college"---almost every post-college age female acquaintance has said this exact same thing to me. I'm not some outraged puritan that women are having sex and partying in college, but that is literally what college is. Incidentally you go to class and get a degree along the way, but the whole popular notion of it is finding other "adult" friends in a diverse community and having fun.

Society told all of us to go to college and idolizes the "fun" experience for a bunch of hormonal teenagers finally out of their parent's oversight. Society tells us that women being loud and arrogant is empowerment as well. Hookup culture is prevalent. Feminism is popular and going against it makes you an incel. This isn't medieval times, a father has little say over what his young adult children do. They are going to do what's normal, and this clown world is normal.

Statistics are very clear that kids raised without a father do much worse than those raised with their natural father in the house. Rates of drug and alcohol abuse, incarceration, teenage pregnancy, basically every indicator is worse. It's amazing that in 2020 this still has to be said.
