FULL DISCLOSURE:

I personally know several nurses of both genders. I've posted several times about nurses - the overwhelming majority of them are garbage.

My take is that women become nurses so that they can be in the vicinity of doctors to eventually parasite off of the doctor and never have to work again. The nurses that are not chosen and that are forced to work become the bitter control freak Nurse Ratchets mentioned in the above post.

Just my opinion.

In our country (Sri Lanka) both male and female students try to be doctors by studying bioscience, but once they don't have enough marks most of those women become nurses and men become lab workers.

Good nurses are good. Bad ones are bad. I work with mostly good ones as a specialist physician with sicker patients. The nurses I work with are 50/50 m:f (not typical). General medicine ward nurses are terrifying. The phone calls I get make me think they have an average iq of 70

Got a good sense of their "professionalism" during this pandemic. And by that I mean the "dancing nurse" videos. Saw one video where a nurse was grinding on an IV pole like she was a stripper.

Absolute trash. This kind of display erodes the sense of public trust. Florence Nightingale they were not.

Doctor here. Not that accurate as nurses don’t have THAT much responsibility in the UK unless they get more senior. Doesn’t pay well here either - It’s more a guaranteed job if anything.

It is also a profession for experienced cum dumpsters. I don't think I've ever known a nurse who wasn't either a current or former slut. It's almost as if being promiscuous is a requirement for the job.

As someone who is currently contracting at a hospital, and has to speak to some of the staff on the regular.. Maybe not all the nurses, but the ones that have been there long enough to find themselves in positions not just over patients, but other nurses, oh absofuckinglutely!

I talk to both men and women, doctors senior and junior, nurses, directors, execs and chairs, but none of them (not fucking one) speaks down to myself or my team, and we have good cooperation in working round each other to get things fixed.

But these 'slightly senior nurses', the absolutely fucking worst. Speak down to you (and their own staff) as if were fucking children, expect you to explain everything to them, as if you need their permission, and the absolute real kicker!! Most of these cunts are incompetent! (And I spoken to their staff who have basically told me the same thing) So its not just me and my team saying this. The absolute level of entitlement is just....!!

And I have notice the pattern to these 'slightly senior nurses'. And it absolutely matches what Milo is saying. Any place of authority where the woman hasn't had to earn it, complete and utter bitches! I'm not sure I've contacted any males in these roles.. If I have, they certainly have acted like this to make me take notice..

Also, props on getting some Parler screenshots. Any promotions for anything other than legacy tec get an uptoot from me..

Funny but it seems like a pretty shit take to me. People become nurses for social lauding for health care professions and because caring for people gives them feel good points

Meh I will put this one down to Milo having a bad gay day. Usually he is legit. Nurses are fine and do what doctors tell them and hope to meet doctors. That's about the end of it really.

Well he is not wrong. Being a nurse is also one of the best paying jobs in the country with an average salary of over 70k. Not to mention that it only takes about 2 years of school to become a nurse. It's like the field was tailor made to appeal to women.
