I'm not saying all anime needs to be Dragon Ball Z or Yu Yu Hakusho but every year there are more strong female characters and more pussified male characters.

Psycho Pass for example had a great male lead and terrible female lead. After season 1 he goes away and it becomes her show and she makes you not want to watch the show to be honest.

There are plenty of examples of anime females treating anime males like crap and they just take it or apologise even though they have done nothing wrong.

And plenty of the males have to go off about respecting woman and hitting them even if they are trying to kill him.
