If there was a male politician saying he preferred "Rich women with tight vaginas, that never talks" there would be a colossal tsunami of outrage. I doubt anyone would dare defend such a fellow, let alone write editorials.

Skimming this, it didn't seem like they were so much defending her as defending their right to be outraged over everything while denying men the right to be offended by anything. It's amazing how many feminist arguments seem to boil down to "but it's different when we do it."

The way that a lot of women have their heads so easily turned by wealth makes me slightly nervous about their suitability for roles in positions of public office. Is she more likely to be seduced and influenced by some bastard with money who wants political favours?

Still, I honestly don't care what the Senator said. She did nothing wrong.

When pointing out the double standard, it's worth pushing for greater freedom for men, rather than applying the censor to everyone. Leave the censorship and morally correct posturing to the feminists.
