My GF (22) is currently on the phone with her BFF (21) who just found out she is 14 weeks pregnant with her ex bf's baby. She is in a new relationship that started about a month ago. While at planned parent hood for her ultrasound/to schedule her abortion the counselor instructed her to tell her new bf that the baby is only 4 weeks old and that it is his.

WTF

I'm all for access to abortion/birth control/a person's (male or female) right to decide whether or not they are ready to be a parent. I'm not okay with misleading a man into believing that he has some responsibility for this poor decision his gf made with her ex. This is going to fuck with his head all so this girl has no consequences to suffer from her poor decision making.

My gf and I have had previous discussions over the inequities in male parental rights and she is at least understanding and willing to discuss the subject.

I'm at a loss for words. I'm with my gf and she's off the phone now I'll be back later to discuss more.

Edit: Sorry for the delay, work and life got in the way. I decided as soon as i found out that I will tell the new bf that the baby is her ex's. Nobody deserves that mental anguish.
