Is it controversial to support something "Directed by a Woman"?

I've never seen such sentiments here. More interesting is that it is directed by, stars, and is about, a feminist.

I'm kind of concerned about his name is going on as an associate producer credit. His internet commentary confirms some of the worst stereotypes of the MRM. And I'm not sure that it's going to matter that he distances himself from the MRA label.

I am impressed with Mike. I didn't know who he was until yesterday on #bigmilo. I do sort of recall some of the /r/mensrights folks calling him an asshole sometime in the last year but I always like to judge for myself. Went and bought his book too.
