Sending creepy PMs to other people is, as you say yourself, shitty behavior, which infringes their rights and they (depending on how creepy the PM was) rightfully feel uncomfortable about such messages.

Being fat is no behavior by itself. It might be a result of behavior and it might be unhealthy for the persons themselves but it doesn't infringe the rights of other people.

I don't see any hypocrisy in being against fat shaming, but shaming people for sending creepy PMs.

In /r/justneckbeardthings on the other I have seen posts which I found cringeworthy. They sometimes shame guys just for being awkward or ugly without violating the rights of others. If they would take such a stand against fat shaming, they would be hypocrite.
