What this really shows is that our justice system is doing a poor job. If people really were held "innocent until proven guilty", false accusations would be much less dangerous. As it is, many, many innocent men have been imprisoned on nothing more than a single woman willing to lie on the stand.

These cases are a paradox.

Usually the word of a cop in court weights more than yours.... except if you are a woman.

Also defies logic.
