It is really nice to see more people in the UK take a stand against this crap, we still need to find a way to deal with the universities but this is a start.

I remember my stepfather taking his teeth out and chasing my little female cousins around the house. They screamed and giggled with delight at the imagined peril. I think some women liven up their dull-ass lives by imagining themselves as little heroines facing down mostly illusory threats.

It's a very old story: if you make people afraid of xyz demographic then hold yourself as their only savior against the ravages of xyz then they will loyally follow you and justify any action in "self defense". The Nazi analogy is obvious but it happens all the time in less extreme ways.
