Like many of you, I have gotten tired of the men and women who have made it their job to destroy this subreddit by confusing the issue.

So many people are so threatened by the idea of men examining their troubles in society that they will try ANYTHING to stifle honest discussion. Mostly by trying to convince us that there is nothing to examine.

Imagine calling your frenemy to help you in a housefire:

"Jeezus, how do I get out of here before the smoke kills me!"

"Oh stop whining. Smoke is a myth! Stay inside. Go watch some TV".

"What?! dude the HOUSE is on FIRE. I can see it. I can SMELL the smoke"

"Don't be sillly, fire is just a social construct we use to light cigarettes. It has no power over you if you dont believe in it".

"WHAt?! I dont have tiime for this! the fire is burning mAAAAAAGH!"

"............"

"Sucker".

That is why I encourage people to check out /r/malestudies. Its moderated, and is intended to strike a more academic tone, with documentation encouraged or every argument. that way, we can spend our time discussion the solution of the problems men face, rather than argue about their existence for the 83rd time.
