This is the tactic known as 'moving the goalposts' they got disproved on their original claims so now they're trying to pretend they never cared or alternatively when they get called out they'll start making ridiculous demands of you while never having to backup their own claims about MRAs for example. It's an incredibly pathetic debate tactic that a lot of them use and unless you're feeling in the mood to cause them to have a mental breakdown you're better off just ignoring them.

I'm trying to get better at dealing with them myself and a rule I'm starting to put in place is I don't let them try and deviate from the topic that they've started. That's a trap and they're trying to derail the conversation on purpose to make you lose your temper so they can focus everyone's attention on that rather than admit they were wrong.

Legally, what MRM proposes is quickly shut down by powerful feminist groups. High suicide rate of men is rarely addressed while there are so many support groups but are only open for women.

That person probably hasn't even heard of the NCFM before now. But hey, clicking that link means acknowledging men's issues (and the good men who've made progress), so, uh, "hate group!!!"

I cant post, I got a message saying I need a flair and what not, but basically I wrote, copy it if you want:

Theres countless of examples of MRAs succesfully changing actual laws to benifit everyone, so youre statement is easily refuted. They have even gone to the UN and the European Court of Human Rights and changed the laws of entire nations. They have won THOUSANDS of Title IX cases, making things gender neutral. Besides your point, but many MRAs have won cases for women also and focused heavily on children too. Debating 101, just providing 1 example refutes your original assertion, but certainly the 1000s examples above do.

They have also done extremely well considering they are up against very hostile attitudes such as yours. You wont even open a link for example giving information you basically requested.

You shifted goal posts by suddenly talking about black men and LGBT men.... and yes I can name at least 10 MRA organisations that do things specially for black or LGBT men, infact one made the BBC news just the other week. Also more to the point, MRA advocates for all men so of course that includes black men and LGBT.

Yeah this happens a lot but the fact they have to invoke gay rightsy /BLM is fucking pathetic.

Guess how much shit a person would get it they brought up the fact they are a MRA at a BLM protest? This person would be the fucking first to say that "they are only here to steal the spotlight"
