I think if men were to actually support other men more and let go of some of the competitiveness. Maybe I'm wrong here but I think most men will never protest the way women do. There is a line we don't cross and so we suffer in silence. I find it to be true based on my own experience. I still believe in individual responsibility as well so intervention on a state level feels wrong. If we could ensure education isn't rigged against men despite female teachers that would be a start. Fight some of the stereotyping that happens in pop culture and controlling social media outrage. Having celebrities and media speak out on behalf of men instead of saying nothing to counter the BS. Oh and acting the part.. proving them wrong. I imagine once women get to fail in powerful positions as much as men we'll see the pendulum swing back.

I believe one of the biggest issues young men face is the fear of being falsely accused of rape / harassment. The fact that a man's entire life can be brought down in a few hours just from a woman lying can pose as a major fear for a lot of young men.

Understandably, both genders have the potential to make false allegations against both genders, but false accusations from a woman about a man ( from what I can tell ) seem to have the biggest impact on the accused person's life.

The best way to solve this would be to do 2 things : Inform everyone ( young people especially) that false accusations are not a joke and should not be made. Also, increase the penalty / sentencing for making a false claim, and run on the logic of "Innocent until proven guilty".

My reasoning behind "Innocent until proven guilty" is that it prevents the falsely accused from being unjustly punished. A temporary tag should be kept on the accused person, but justified punishment not given until sufficient evidence proves that the accused did infact assault or harass the apparent victim.

IMO, companion bots are the escape latch for men.

The big issue is that there are parts of most cis men that require feminine acceptance to not feel like shit. Right now, "feminine acceptance of men" is practically an oxymoron.

So we make bots to do it, and everyone is happy. 20 years of development later, I'm not sure "organic" companions will really be able to compete. But that's a page out of dystopia for later.

People will say things like false allegations and society thinking they are a rapist. But very few men actually have to deal with those issues.

Comparatively, men are still faced with the feeling that complaining or showing weakness is imasculine and I feel this is what is hurting men the most. This affects all men to some extent which means it's a far more widespread problem.

Championing causes like female to male domestic violence will never be fruitful if men aren't actually reporting domestic violence anywhere other than anonymous surveys.

Homelessness, suicides, mental illness and drug addiction won't go away without therapy and rehab. These problems need to be caught early and not just 'managed' by the time its too late. Women face these issues in lower numbers because they will often reach out for help earlier than men. 66 percent of those in therapy are women. Young men need to be encouraged to discuss their problems in a more healthy and productive way.

No one is lining up to help men. So men need to help themselves. And the first step in that long road to recovery, is admitting you need help.
