What are your views on MALE FEMINISTS?

I consider myself egalitarian. I used to be a feminist and support women's progress. But feminists have been very clear they will not work on men's issues. No problem, men are very capable and making some great strides since the start of the men's right's movement. Now days people are aware of most of the issues men face and that is a big improvement.

Do I support feminists attacking men constantly, no, but I support their right to say this stuff as part of free speech. I don't pay too much attention as most feminists you hear from, male and female are political activists and are trying to provoke an emotional response. Most of it is taunts and pretty childish.

Where they get nasty, like changing laws like with #metoo, I fight back.

Gender doesn't matter. The ideology is wrong-headed, regardless of the gender of the person spouting it. Now, if they discover the truth about their ideology (and the wider state of the world), odds are even whether they'll drop the ideology and become egalitarians. I'd wager a good chunk of the people here identified as feminists at one point, regardless of gender.

I think they're misguided. It's not their fault they've been taught to believe that women are victims and men oppressors. It's why we need subs that collect the facts and statistics to highlight Male problems, so that more people understand that there are issues on both sides of the fence.

I think it's completely fine to be a man, and support their cause too. I like to think I am someone who would like to empower women the right way.

HOWEVER, MOST feminists (men and women) have completely lost the way and believe empowering women means de-powering men, which is idiotic. Most of these male feminists are just juvenile and are yet uncover what has been brewing behind the scenes. They will eventually come around.

It’s virtual signaling at its finest. It may earn them some brownie points initially, but being an “ally” isn’t going to work for getting laid like these guys think it will. Hell, even female feminists don’t respect these men.

Not so much nowadays....feminism has morphed into a supremacist ideology/religion, and I'm not keen on that bullshit.

When I hear about a dude who call himself a feminist I immediately get " nice guy" vibes.

I don't think of feminism or men's rights as an issue between men and women (to be clear, I'm not suggesting that the MRM is the equivalent of feminism). There are men and women leading both sides. I take as much issue with women opting into feminism as I do with men who do so. I don't see male feminists as traitors, just as a type of person who subscribes to a dangerously flawed ideology.
