I disagree completely. Like I said here the reason this poster is so powerful is because it directly attacks the stereotype of male hyper-agency.

Normally the phrase "real men" is followed by something that a man can do to others/things in order to prove his masculinity. Instead, this one is about something that happens to men by someone else. This is massively important because the myth of hyper-agency is the primary cause of male victims not being acknowledged by society.

It HAS to cause that psychological dissonance between what we expect real men to be and what this poster says real men are in order to be effective. Your attempting to rephrase it in order to prevent that psychological dissonance but that completely defeats the purpose.

When you say this:

a Real man has the strength to talk about it

You are reproducing the same myth of male hyperagency because here, again, a real man does something instead of having it done to him.

Male victims will never be acknowledged until male powerlessness is acknowledged. Everything else is bullshit.
