A bit of background info: I am a college student (originally from Europe, studying in the US) I've been on r/feminsm, r/mensrights, etc. First of all, I find what either side is saying noteworthy. Women: I find it hard to believe that someone would harass, grope, rape, etc, simply because I would never do something like that. Men: As a guy with divorced parents (custody to mom), i get your point, if I have kids I dont want to lose them, but in my case, I actually wanted my mom to have custody, the last time I saw my dad was in court; also false rape accusations & male rape are horrible and do make me think twice about going out (especially in college).

Sorry for rambling on (I know I didnt mention everything)... My question is basically: You seem to be focusing on somewhat the same topics, with slightly different takes on it, but both are completely valid (possible pay discrimination of women in sciences v.s. men in nursing), so why all the hate?

Also, as a guy (relatively) new to the US, I am really freaked out about reading the "male rape" askreddit post, especially with college accusations (be they false or not). Mens rights activits, what is your take on that?

Edit: When I say "feminist" I mean the movement as a whole, but focus on the "egalitarian" points Someone pointed out to me that:

Seriously?

The majority of "feminists" seem to be egalitarian, at least on Reddit. In fact, they seem to be completely reasonable and agree on the majority of things with this subreddit.

If this is true, then why are you giving them a bad name by simply generalizing every single one of them?

*** This *** explains why some of them see r/mensrights as a "hate" group. It might help to point this out more specifically or take the effort to actually point this out. Especially as they support similar views as this subreddit (see quotes in below).
