In an effort to cut down on circlejerking and trolling, the PPD mod team has decided to try a new approach to banning and temp-banning.

From here on out, all users that accumulate 3 deleted comments/incidents in a short amount of time, will be banned from PPD for 3 days. Multiple comments in the same thread will usually be treated as a one, and accidentally posting in a thread tagged for another pill/perspective will not count either. This will apply only to malicious, uncivil, or extremely circlejerky comments.

If in a matter of months, we temp ban a user 3 times, that user will be permanently banned from PPD. For clarification, our updated guidelines/rules can be found here

While we don't want to discourage participation here, our ultimate goal is to provide a space for people to question their beliefs, and engage in good-faith discussion/arguments. Hopefully this new policy will be a step in the right direction.
