i'm grateful for my fiance's new project he's working on. he's got a client paying him silly amounts of money to do exactly what he's passionate about. he's just loving it and it also means that if i want to stop working we'll still be very comfortable.

i'm grateful the sun has finally come out after almost a week of rain and drizzle

i'm grateful for the fun, silly date night we had yesterday. it wasn't at all planned, fiance just told me to meet him after work and took me out for a really fun dinner and drinks.

i'm grateful for the new family doctor i found. she really takes the time to listen and is excited to help me prepare for starting our family.

pinterest fail:

i don't really pinterest but i have to share someone else's. i went to a baby shower a while back and one of the guests had tried making a fruit platter shaped like a baby in a pram. i did a quick google and it was definitely this one she was trying to copy. creepy in it's finest form i think but anyway, the baby shower was in the middle of summer and this baby fruit thing was left in the sun while we got distracted with champagne and cupcakes. coming back to it, the blueberry eyes had started to release their juices, so the fruit baby had these black tears streaming down it's melon face. it was the stuff of nightmares. i took a photo, i'll try to track it down when i get a chance.

I am so excited to go get my Professional Seasonal Color Analysis done this weekend! Field report/write-up forthcoming on FNF! I'm really looking forward to buying clothes, it has been very frustrating holding off on summer purchases.
Very very grateful for my husband's love of talking/listening to me talk. We have wonderful conversations! Sometimes I read about men being very quiet and close-mouthed and that's fine but I would despair. We are very well matched in this regard, and can talk for hours!
I'm grateful that I live in a city full of delicious food and exciting culture. I'm never bored (or hungry)!

I am grateful for my boyfriend’s care when we were flying. He was almost comatose for several hours, during which we had some turbulence. In his almost-sleep his hand started reaching for my belly, patting it in different places. It looked as if he was feeling for something and I realized he was searching for my seat belt, checking if it was on. I put it on and he fell back to sleep. I cried.
for how quiet it is at night where I moved to, and the dramatic effect it has had on my sleep.
and I feel so lucky to have videos of my boyfriend and us both to watch when I miss him. Watching them always make me feel happy and alive.

For my older sister, she is a lot of things I am not, including feminist and very controlling. But she tries to be a good person, and i've started to understand more of why she is the way she is, and I do love her.
For my husband's handiness, and how easily he mends things! I love that when something breaks or needs maintenance he is able to assess it and usually can do it himself.
For my husband's jury duty nearly being over, which is a relief!

Bonus: Worst crafting project fail I think was probably I planned two Christmases ago to make christmas cards with my daughter helping paint and stencil. Which did not happen, because she turned into little miss crabby pants and refused to help even slightly (she was only 2). Any other time she loved painting, but no to making cards!

I started making some myself and decided they looked too basic for something made by an adult, so in the end I think I went and bought some, which babby would then scribble in!

Greetings!

I'm quite thankful for an amazing weekend with my SO, we went to great places to eat and had a romantic time!
I'm thankful for my students' kindness to me, I love hearing the positive things they like about me since I truly care about them.
I'm very thankful for my father and his wisdom, he has been a wonderful guide in my life and if it weren't for him, I'd be a much less mature person now.

Bonus: I did try scrapbooking and I've got materials though I'm such a procrastinator when it comes to that specific task!

I am grateful to have such a tight-knit group of friends who are ready to help each other whenever needed.
I am grateful for my husband's ingenuity. His ways of solving problems are very creative! He manages to use objects in ways I would never think of!
I am grateful for mosquito-repelling plants.
