The Dark Triad has consistently been shown to be an invalid personality scale. No one in the professional world even uses it. So any site claiming that insight can be gained from using it is not worth your time.

god damn, 9.8 narcissism, and I spent some serious time being objective of how I think (vs. manipulating my answer according to how I want the test to come out).

prudence doesn't really matter in an anonymous forum like reddit, especially in this sub, you're not going to be judged for this type of thing.

i answered as honest as i could and scored these: narcissism - 88.3 machiavellianism - 92.6 psychopathy - 91.2

i've seen talk of the dark triad on here before, and the redditors in the threads seem to really have wanted to score high on these tests for some reason. i mean the traits are considered to be aversive so this shouldn't really be desirable, but i guess they look at the results of studies where dark triad personalities do better in life, so they do want to have it.

i'll say this, i'm doing better than most people in achieving my goals and picking-up girls, but if the whole world was like me it would not be as good of a place to live. certain dark triad traits will get you far in life, but many of them are not considered to be positive by most people. that's not to say i'd want to change anything about myself, it's working out for me and i wouldn't share these results to anyone who knew me.

actually i do feel like i scored a bit higher than i would've liked on the psychopathy scale, but i can live with it. not like these test results really mean anything either.

My results really surprised me, I mean I've always known I'm pretty narcissistic, and shit at empathy, but apparently, I'm very psychopathic...

Though actually thinking about it makes it less surprising.

Didn't really suprise me but the high score of psychopathy seems a bit overestimated. I know I can be a bit amoral but I don't think I'm a psychopath. I simply lack some of the main characteristics of real psychopaths like high impulsivity, sexual promiscuity, proneness to boredom and pathological lying.

Maybe that I am a high functioning psychopath or a sociopath.

I don't know the science but the test seemed to ask questions that boiled down to:

"are you a cunt?"

I am honest with women, I don't apologize for who I am, I don't acknowledge shit tests, and I escalate when I want but I align with stoic and taoist philosophy so it's unlikely I would be high on this measurement.
