Vastly increased attention was the big thing. It's the equivalent of entering a cheat code in. There were a few 'but you're married...?' shit-tests. On a few occasions there were other married and non-single women who even stated that they didn't feel we were doing anything wrong or out of the ordinary because we were both taken.

I don't feel that it increased the amount of success that I was experiencing, but I definitely felt that on the successes I did have, wearing the ring was a huge factor in it, judging by the responses and the way their attitudes and behaviour specifically factored and modified into the presence of it. Perhaps it was that simply I attracted a different kind of person.

It's a small example on how I avoided making them feel like they were taking responsibility. I didnt realize it at the time, as this was long before I had found this place. I like to call it 'diffusion of agency' - where you are both as equally culpable as the other, thus the desired outcome becomes more likely.
