These are both good videos and, as mentioned, an excellent starting point.

If anyone is interested in furthering some of the concepts from these videos, I'd recommend reading "The Charisma Myth". The book breaks down charisma into three aspects: power, warmth, and presence.

It's important to note that male-on-male compliance and dominance touching is NON-RECIPROCAL touching, offering your hand to shake doesn't count. A pat on the shoulder and a firm grab of the forearm when a dude makes you laugh are the types of touching that count. And if you start practicing this shit on dudes significantly higher status than yourself you can expect a visceral response, but not of the positive kind. For noobies, I'd suggest first focussing on making sure you meet another mans touch, never let anyone touch you unreciprocated. If he pats you on the shoulder, you pat him on the lower back. He grabs your arm, you grab his shoulder etc. etc. and don't be a dick about it. Smile. Have fun with it. It's supposed to be social bonding. You might feel weird or threatened but that's not his problem, it's yours, so don't turn it into a pissing match. Likewise if he starts trying to AMOG you and starts kino-ing more and more, recognize it's just his monkey mind and hold frame. Keep having fun with it.

I used to be a military instructor and one of the first things I would do when starting a class was remove any reservation my Marines and Sailors had when it came to speaking.

You sounded off from the bottom of your balls and whether you knew what the fuck you were talking about or not, you said it confidently.

Some of the most timid guys became outspoken and broke their shell because they were forced to make their voices heard.

Obviously that was a controlled environment, by the theme applies anywhere.

Project your confidence with your body and voice. Women don't have time for a meek man and Men don't have the patience for cowardice.

I tend to talk with humility, I'll preface what I say with "well, I've found that" or "my personal opinion is", but often people take this to mean that I am lesser than them, they mistake my conversational kindness for weakness it would seem.

People reply with statements like "well it IS like this" and it's pretty frustrating to me.

It seems to me as though being polite is something you should reserve for the intelligent, and if you want to get unintelligent people to listen to you you basically have to bark words.
