I've been seeing this girl since September last year, she was a plate and then I decided to upgrade her in January. So far so good, she'd been good to me and she cooks etc, I can take her out in public without embarrassing myself and she's cute. Everything I was looking for in a girlfriend.

Now, it's only been a few weeks and I'm already feeling a bit weird so I'd like to get your guys' take on it.

The weekend after we got together, aka I made her my GF officially, she made other plans for both Friday and Saturday night. She told me that she had plans for Sat, which was fine by me, but Friday took me by surprise - she later claimed that she didn't know we were meeting on Friday, so she had made other plans.

Later on she told me she went to see a movie with a guy friend on Friday and then, some party on Saturday.

Now, last weekend we were together pretty much the whole time. Went out on Friday till late, had fun, then stayed in on Sat.

Now, today she tells me that she'll be busy this weekend again, from Thursday to Monday. Thursday she has a birthday party with colleagues, and over the weekend her friends from her hometown are coming.

I wasn't caring about this sort of behavior back when she was a plate because I was doing my own shit and either hanging out with other girls or going out, but now I don't like it and I get mad about it. Is it normal for girls to require this much space to do their own stuff, or is this girl an anomaly and not really committed to me? She doesn't even hint or tell me that I can come, or ask me first if I have any plans for us on that day, just makes the plans and later on tells me when I ask what's going on on XYZ day or say I'm making plans for XYZ day.

Oh, and we made plans to go out ice skating yesterday but it was snowing so I said let's not go ice skating, then she went and watched a movie with her colleagues. Again, it may be me being an oversensitive little bitch, but I would have appreciated an invitation since I explicitly only canceled the date because of weather and would have been open to indoor stuff. Is that not normal?

My dating history has been mostly long relationships with girls who were completely gaga over me and did whatever I told them to, this sort of behavior is very new to me. That's why I'm looking for a reality check - are most girls these days like this or did I get a bad 'un?
