Incorrect. It helps you clearly know the limitations of what you want and will tolerate/are willing to give in a friendship. You allow only those you want to be close friends. If you dismiss them because you find them alpha, or beta, well, you're pretty shit at choosing people.

If you don't want close friends, or can't find any you want, that's on you.

And, we can't really be friends with other Alphas because they are fewer and farther between and because we will be in competition with them

That's a pretty big tell there if you consider competition a bad thing. A friend that can push or inspire you to improve is exactly the sort of thing you should want more of in your life. Complacency is your enemy.

You're correct on having friendships with women. Men and women can't be friends because one party will want to fuck the other party's brains out.

As far as male friendships, I'd say the opposite is true. Be friends with Alphas and Betas alike. Learn from your more Alpha friends and in turn, guide your beta friends (if you feel particularly sorry for them or they have potential) with questions about reality and let them discover TRP for themselves, but never directly teach them anything until they come to accept the truth and have the "Holy Shit" moment.

You can be friends with women, you just have to be careful not to get exploited, or be okay with it.

It's safer with little old ladies and butch lesbians. Little old ladies (usually) understand the exhange nature of relationships. I've got ONE in my friendzone. I do her IT (probably about ten hours a year). I get cooked for about once a month and twice a year she will make me clothes.

I've also got one butch in my friendszone. We loan each other tools. Occasionally we have a beer and make sexist comments about the asses of the women in the bar.

But having anything like a young hottie in your friendzone? She'll have you helping her move and re-grouting her tile for nothing more than a "You're so sweet."

You're putting too much weight on that stuff.

You can certainly be friends with guys. Beta's can be led, and alphas will cooperate with you. Redpill just teaches you not to be careless and not to put too much weight on your losses.

I've got a bro who will cover my back in a fight, loan me money without hesitation, and provide me with an alibi if I need it. But I don't leave him alone with any of my women. Because he'll try to tap them. He's a hound, and can't help trying it on any more than he can quit breathing.

I've got a beta friend that I trust with my women and will loan money to without hesitation, but don't count on him because his bitch wife has cut all of his friends out. But that doesn't mean I won't answer when he calls.

You apply redpill principles to relationships to safeguard your resources and not waste time and energy on people who take more than they give. You don't have to cut yourself off from emotional contact.

You're right about the female friendships; unless you were friends with the girl in your childhood then it's doubtful that she provides you much value.

When it comes to male friendships you are hanging out with them because they provide value to you and you provide value back to them. Most of them will be beta but you can have high status betas or a fun beta. Male friendships are not at all related to women; if your friends are bad wingmen then go out gaming solo.

I have many friends who are not exactly alpha steele dix but man its a complete joy to spend time together with those folks, they just need serious training when it comes to dealing with women

my policy on befriending women is that I only make friends with femaies that I dont wanna fuck but theyre attracted to me.. man you get treated like a king by those females let me tell you, its like the female version of the orbiter
