My girlfriend and I have been together for eight years now.

We got together my freshman year of high school and have had only two small breaks. Neither of us has had a whole lot of experience with other people so we are both curious. It's hard to know if you have something worth keeping if you don't know what else is out their.

I have been lerking on TRP for the last year and learned a lot. I went through a couple of extremes when handling our relationship. From showing no emotions to rewarding good behavior. Some tactics work better then others but since neither of us have very much outside experience alot of what is on here doesn't apply to us. I have been wondering lately if I got extremely lucky with her or I am disillusioned as to her true nature. I know she is a high value cause she is 24, gorgeous and only been with 3 partners. I love her but we don't quite have the relationship that I want. So I would like to ask TRP. Is 7 years worth of BPing to much history to transition our relationship to one that is RP based? Or would I be better off trying to find someone else and start over or not do LTR' s at all?
