Don't compliment them, they have hordes of beta orbiters worshipping everything about them. When you compliment them you're putting them above yourself and in the same category as those guys. Your attention is the only acknowledgement they get for being hot or clever or whatever.

You have two goals, one is always making them qualify to you. Second is be a good enough man that they want to do this on their own.

You should always be ( and act like you are ) some levels above them to keep their hamster spinning. When she knows you think she is hot she won't try hard to win your approval, she already has it. Keep them guessing, they are happier that way.

It's fine to compliment them, but do it sparingly, and ensure your actions leave room for a little bit of "what does he really think?".

Complimenting too much sub-communicates an exchange. It says "If I make you feel good about yourself, I hope you'll have sex with me" - it comes across as needy and insincere. Don't be needy.

If I ever compliment a girl, it's conveyed more as an observation rather than a demonstration of liking her.
