So, my roommate is also my best friend, and we work together. We're both in our 30's (we're both fully functional adults; I get a good deal on rent, and my rent allows them to afford the mortgage on two houses, so we're helping each other out). His wife... I think she's not crazy about me, but is happy I'm living with them.

Well, one of her friends is in our age range, and definitely an interesting person. Mid-30s single, attractive, doesn't have or want kids. She's spent a lot of time around, and I've thought about making a move, but wonder if that would be a shitty move on my part?

Anyways, here's where it gets sort of interesting...

About a month ago, she's over and we all get wasted. Blaring music, just the four of us. I don't even remember how the conversation got there, but at some point, she says she doesn't understand the appeal of titty-fucking. Obviously, this caches my attention. I joke that "That's just part of foreplay, you gotta take one for the team", and she says "Well, I wouldn't let a guy titty-fuck me". I laugh, I think I say something like "Oh really?", she looks at me deadpan and says "you're not going to titty-fuck me". I remember laughing again, and think we sort of get off track.

Eventually we start dancing (I do not dance), and she's trying to show me how to dance to some country song (I also don't like country music). She's doing some motion, and says "it's like sex, man". I tease her and say something like "It looks like you need to have better sex", my friend busts out laughing, she just kind of nods, more into the music.

I sort of black out at that point, though fortunately nothing happened that night (I get super sick in the morning).

About a week ago, she's over hanging out with my friend's wife, and she seems happy to see me when I come out of my room. Anyways, they're talking about some new guy she's started dating, she says he seems okay, but "it's too early to really say anything more". I say I'll let them get back to their 'girl talk', she laughs and says sorry, and that we all(?) need to go out for dinner sometime ("all", I don't know if that's just the four of us, or if that's including her new guy). I'm just like, "Sounds good, just lemme know and I'll see if I'm free".

Haven't done anything since then. Not sure if I should make a move, or if that's like an invasion on my roommates' space (ie. "she shouldn't have to worry about having friends over, and her roommate making moves on them")? And if I should make some kind of a move... well, what sort of "move" do you even make?

I have her number. Maybe just call her one afternoon and say something like, "Hey, this is out of the blue but it feels like there might be a spark between us. Would you want to grab dinner Friday?"

Or is that, like... super cheesy or lame? Or should I just wait until I happen to see her again? For that matter, how much consideration should I pay to knowing she just started dating guy (keep in mind; I only walked in on them talking about it, she kind of stressed it "wasn't serious" to me)?

Or if I need to just move on, that's fine too. I'm not putting any stock in her either way, but she is attractive and seems pretty cool.
