It is widely agreed that a girlfriend going on vacation without her boyfriend means she's likely going to cheat, or simply means she doesn't want him around. Huge red flag.

I am in the opposite situation: I have been invited to go to Bangkok with some friends in December. It would be a male-only trip, where everyone is single except. We would definitely get some action.

I want to go, but my LTR cannot come. I wouldn't mind bringing her, but she can't afford the trip and it would feel out of place. I did invite her, though.

If I go without her, it is obvious I am going to interact with women, even though I'll tell her I won't. This could work in my favor or backfire. It could act as a form of dread, or she could feel cheated on and react by cheating on me while I'm away, as a revenge.

Any thoughts on this? Should I go on the trip? What is the risk of damaging the LTR (or improving it), or getting cheated on while I'm away?
