Alpha at its most basic definition is leader of the pack. Men look up to you and follow you, women by default do this as well.

What you are describing is just someone being studious. Yes, there is alpha in not caring what others think but I’ve seen Betas and even Omegas do the exact same thing in the classroom. If your peers don’t look for you to be a guide on what they CARE about then you won’t be an alpha in that situation. In this classroom it sounds like many are indifferent, so no - no one is falling into his frame. For that to happen people have to actually care. In reality the alpha could be the guy in the back who knows where the good party is that night - depends on the university, students, etc

You have more reading to do to better understand these concepts.

I bet if you actually knew this person you’d find he’s not very confident in other ways. Some people are very confident in school, where they’ve spent the majority of their life but get them outside the classroom and watch them clam up.

The way you describe him yes he is an alpha but the context can change. Also in the side bar there is no alpha male only alpha and beta characteristics.

Sitting alone quietly in a middle of the room is mot alpha behavior. He may be alpha when it comes to studying but at everything else he might be beta. Just because he's a good student doesn't mean he's an overall alpha male.

Being "focused on your mission" only counts of this mission is somewhat risky and troubles you. If the mission is easy then it's not a mission it's a task. Asking questions writing notes and picking dates for exam is not a mission - it's a task. Graduating - now that's a mission. But in that class you're all doing that mission. So he's not sticking much above average. But now imagine he also has a job and is saving money for a property. Not just for himself but also for a dog he cares for. And this isn't just an ordinary dog it's a deaf dog so he requires special care. Now also imagine he works out regularly. Not just like that but also fighting odds trying to beat some kind of record. He helps out his grandparents on weekends sometimes. Imagine he cares how he looks and carries himself with dignity good manors and fresh amount of humour.

All of these things SCREAM responsibility and care. Your brain only reading that will make you feel some sort of respect for that guy. Your serotonin receptors can't help it, they will get triggered.

Well... unless you imagine him hating it and doing those things against his own will. His mission (any of them) has to be of utmost importance and it has to be hard. There have to be odds.

Everything else then is reduced to petty stuff and it just makes you care for the right things for the right reasons. No longer will women look as such big of a deal.

HE'S OMEGA. not others centered. into his own thing. probably don't give a fuck what anyone thinks. but he's not a pack animal. he's on his own path.
