I'm looking for clarification and explanation on the "best practices" of long term commitment. Never have a long term relationship?
I fear might get married (for many valid reasons) & then have a ~55% chance of losing half my assets (which I think I'll grow up over 10-40 years). I know marriage is voluntary, that's not the point: it also has advantages like long term stability. The problem I have is that I also want a long term committed relationship (with the romantic, social, and sexual advantages that come from it). Because of my fear of divorce I've been even avoiding having a girlfriend for some time which is also problematic. (Yes I get I'm making a leap of logic: that a long term girlfriend will automatically become my wife.)
What's the "best practices"? What can be done to reduce or limit "risk"? I know red pill stuff is useful, but... I'm struggling to find pragmatic information: anti-feminist rants, psychological explanations, and descriptions of broken systems/social norms really are great. However they are not helpful to me here. I feel like I'm asking someone more educated than me to google for me, but really links to relevant content would also be very helpful... or just basic advice before I continue the practice of never having a relationship again as a best practice...
