My nightmare ex still tries to hit me up 4 years after the break up and I still get mini panic attacks when she tries to add me on a new Snapchat account or text me on a new number. Truly a psycho bitch.

It’s a natural fight or flight response recurring because of the past emotional trauma.

Try to forgive and forget, but most importantly forget. If you give her even 0.000001% of your attention that’s a L.

Since you had already blocked her and cut off contact before, if it’s really bothering you go get a restraining order. That way it’s legally documented if she stalks you and tries to claim you abused her somehow.

Well one key part you left out is whether you are gaming/fucking other girls out there.

If you are not or "kind of" doing it then your ego went from having 0 validation because you're not gaming, to 1 solid validation from someone who you considered close. This causes you to get excited - "wohooo, someone likes me", regardless of what you really feel towards that person or what the message from them said.

This is why it's key to game other girls and have abundance. If you truly came from a place of abundance that Christmas text from little old Becky would have meant absolutely nothing to you the same way you say she as a person does not mean anything to you.
