A while ago I discovered that my SO's shit tests where primarily her version of foreplay. She wants to test me and loves a sarcastic, dominant reaponse to get her in the mood. Yesterday I discovered the reverse. I told her specifically NOT to do something. Without hesitating her reaction was to do it. I hated that about her. It finally clicked. She naturally responds opposite to a direct "command" because she's testing my authority as Captain with what she, AWALT, views as foreplay. Its a reverse shit test. I innitiate, then she tests, so I respond like an alpa. BP me would get butthurt. RP me knows she's playing her game. And I know how this game works now.

Edit: Example on a very sexy date night. She wanted a snack that I hate because of the breath it gives her. We were ready to leave and she grabbed one more. I confidently told her no several times. She looked right at me, smirked and threw it in her mouth. BP me would have been pissed by the disrespect. RP newbie me hid my anger and remained stoic. It clicked a minute later that it was a test. Staying stoic was a neutral response, so I didn't fail the test. The right response to her challenge would have been to show my alpha dominance back at her.
