Just a fun little situation I encountered that left me at first confused. I had mostly forgotten redpill. I kinda left it bc I find most of the scene to be a bit one dimensional and overly zealous in their teachings, though the core psychological ideas I think are very accurate. Having internalized what I needed and made it a part of my standard behavior I kinda almost forgot redpill was a thing until this recently happened to me.

I proposed to my gf of 3 years. We have a D/s dynamic and so she has always been very submissive and a real pleaser. Wears a collar, does what I tell her, etc. We have our fights, but life is pretty great 95% of the time.

But the following week has had fighting and even 2 behaviors I have never experienced before ever from her. First she cracked a joke about me doing x for her in exchange for sex (something she has literally never done). Boy did that piss me off and we had a big fight about it. She was immediately sorry and apologized profusely. Even as she said it I could see on her face she knew she had fucked up, but just yeah what a shocker to even hear that come out of her mouth. In my mind I was like where you the fuck did that line of thought even come from.

On top of that she's been less responsive to my commands and more what I would label as "bratty" which is not my kink and not something I tolerate. And then the other day she even tried to boss me around while we were putting up the Christmas tree. (Again a behavior she has never exhibited). I just backed off from that one and left her to finish things. She could tell I was mad but I didn't make a fight over it. She apologized and we just moved on.

This week has been such a shocker for me until I realized "oh shit, these are basically shit tests or whatever subconsciously triggered by the fact that she now feels safer in the relationship." I've been righting the boat and quietly correcting the situation today, but I think it's time I dust off my old reading material.

It was a good reminder never to let my guard down. As much as a person may love and cherish you, they're still subject to the whims of biology and their subconscious and you're never done proving both your worth and position to a woman.
