Some recent discussion has brought to my attention the need for this subreddit to be a bit more "advanced", due to the no-lack of beginner posts.

Hence I have decided to post about something that I've been wondering about.

First, let me tell you that I've been in "the game" for about 3 years now, in which I spent the first one completely immersed in improving my skills, and the next 2 in improving my life as a whole.

Now, as many of you know, the general consensus is that a lot of people in this community get validation from their succeses.

However, I have recently started noticing something: that I no longer feel the "rush" of picking up a girl.

At first I thought that maybe I was getting laid too much (I know right? The horror), or that I was losing energy from not working out... but now I realize that basically, after a certain point of success, I've become so comfortable getting rejected, and good enough to have enough girls in my life, that I just don't care for the validation anymore.

In one way this worries me; I can't help but wonder if I've lost one of my favorite feelings, as well as my skills. On the other, it is incredibly liberating to not be a prisoner of my own lust.

Have any of you gotten to this point? For those of you who've gotten over it, what triggered this feeling, and how did you deal with it? How has your game changed because of your mindset change, if any? And more importantly, do you feel better for it?

Let's discuss!
