Cold approach this girl, got her number and went on a date last week. Date itself was eh. Grabbed dinner, talked, laugh. Couldn’t escalate or add kino. Ended in a sad half hug. Both share we had a decent time. Waited a few days and asked her when she would be free to do something she mentioned during the first date. No reply . Double texted with a solid date as I’m also busy. Hits me with the busy excuse and no availability. Every fiber in my being is telling me to take my L and move on but this girl is Fiiiinneee. I don’t know how many opportunities I’ve missed by not being persistent so looking for how to proceed.

In my limited experience asking a girl to let you know when she’d be available is already a loss. How do I retain frame? Make a joke about her being busy, switch topic and wait until a later day to ask? Just not respond and try to reignite in a few weeks when I’m available? Serious advice only.
