Closes: Dancefloor, Kiss, Number.

I’ve been doing and learning this for 10 years, since I was 19. Haven’t did a field report about the same amount of time but I was inspired by someone else on this sub. So, here we go.

Saturday night, I decided to go to this Latin dance club that I discovered in my city downtown. This would be my third time going, so I knew the lay of the land so to speak. Dancefloor game has always been my absolute specialty, with 2nd only being social circle game. Get ready to learn a few things.

I show up to the club and I am dressed WELL but not flashy at all. I bought a $60 shirt at gap Friday that really fits the style and vibe I like to put out, which took years to figure out. The pants were khaki colored slacks from Walmart, and my favorite, scuffed up converses. Combined with a unique, cool looking haircut and a few accessories, I’m putting off a very unique but tailored vibe. It’s very me, and very interesting.

I walk into the club and it’s already packed. I only have about 2- 2 and a half hours to do some damage so I get to it. First thing I do is I get a beer, even if it’s water it’s good to have some kind of drink in your hand. Shows you’re chilling and having a good time. But I never get drunk, especially when I’m on my own. You need to stay alert and girls need to feel comfortable around you.

Drink in hand, I start walking around the club, kinda standing on the outskirts of each side of the dance floor. Last night I thought to myself what this technique will be called, and dubbed it “walking the runway”. Basically I would walk to one end of the club, dance a little on the dance floor at the sides, maybe making some friends with whoever was friendly, then make my way to the other side, never crossing through the middle of the dance floor. Literally just leaving and re-entering.

What this let me do was walk around and let everyone (mainly the girls) see that I was there, then I’d leave. I believe this had the effect of them thinking they missed their chance. We would see how this played out later on.

So yeah I’d say the first hour was pretty uninteresting. Felt some girls might be of been interested but no concrete signs yet. Ended up getting another beer then deciding to try my luck on the center of the dancefloor. That’s when it starts getting good.

I get to the center of the dancefloor and end up dancing behind this group of girls. One of them is an attractive Latina, model type, thin, and I get a sense she’s feeling me a bit. I’m not 100% sold on the vibe I get from her, but I decided to game her for the hell of it. I start dancing and she positions herself infront of me.

On thing I learned from tonight is the same way you’re aware of where you’re dancing, women are doubly aware, especially if they look back right at you. If you do something like try and grab at their waist, tugging them towards you a bit then letting go right away, they’ll usually look back to see if they’re into you. If they stay in the same spot, you’re usually good to go. Like I said, I think she did want to dance, but something about her already seemed flaky so I didn’t commit to dancing with her. Once a guy is seen dancing intimately with a girl other girls in the club will usually be shut down so you really need to invest your time wisely.

So even though I didn’t dance with her right away, I continued dancing a few minutes in the middle of the dance floor. This is when my preparation paid off. Suddenly, I was surrounded by girls. I had the model type Latina in front, a hot Latina blonde to my left, and two latina friends dancing on my right. I assume I had a girl behind me as well but I didn’t want to look there was already a lot on my plate. I believed this happened because I “walked the runway” earlier. All of these girls saw me, felt they missed their chance, and then when I entered the dancefloor again they came to me. Will do more research on this.

Anyways, the girls on the right I felt a good vibe from, reminded me of a hotter version of a good friend of mine which intrigued me but I think also stopped me from pursuing as well. Obviously the one in front was attractive but, again, felt a bit off.

The girl on my left though…I can’t explain it but I got the most interested, aggressive vibe from her. She was moving her hips in a way that really made me think she was trying to get my attention (it was working). I felt bad for the Latina in front, but I know a good investment when I see one. When I tugged at her waist for her to start grinding on me, it felt natural, a good sign. I had her dance on my hip first before pulling away so that she could look back at me. When she did, she returned her head down and continued dancing and grinding on me. I was in. In dance floor game this is considered a close, where the true escalation and seduction can begin. But tragedy struck.

We started to grind, it was almost immediately passionate. Longest few seconds of my life before her friends pulled her away from me. I laughed it off, as one must. I know genuine interest when I feel it anyhow. I stayed locked in with the group of friends dancing for a little while longer, and it wasn’t long before me and the girl end up together and we start dancing again. But once again, pulled away by her friends. Strange, I’m thinking, I haven’t seen this before.

I keep locked in but now this is getting annoying. Her friends then do something absolutely dastardly, and give me a sign of what they’re doing. This tall guy with a cap and a chain approaches, and they lead the girl over to him. I realize, they’re picking who she can dance with. Seeing her friends not pulling her away from that guy pissed me off (inside I thought it was fucking hilarious though. That’s 10 years of inner game for ya). I try to keep locked in but I know I can’t I’m so mad, like fuck them. I walk away from the group and leave my girl with her new man.
