Haven’t seen this be discussed on this subreddit so I’ll quickly go over what NOT TO DO in day game. There are obviously more but just giving out non negotiables or ones that have not been discussed yet on the subreddit.

  1. Do not approach her if she’s handling money in any way shape or form. This includes but not limited to using the ATM machine, paying for something at the cashier, or getting change from a cashier.

  2. Do not continue the interaction if she is underaged. Common question I get while coaching students is “what if I can’t tell how old she is?”. Simply ask her “just out of curiosity which college or school do you go to?”. If you find out she’s underaged simply apologize and LEAVE IMMEDIATELY.

  3. Do not approach if she’s with a male family member. Male family members “generally” (keyword generally) are going to be protective especially the father. Mother-daughter sets are fantastic, fun and quite easy. When you win the mother over, she becomes your wingwoman.

  4. Do not approach a girl in the parking lot if she’s alone. This is a more recent thing, 10+ years ago this wasn’t as relevant but recently we live in crazier times where women have a natural defense mechanism when they’re alone in the parking lot EVEN DURING THE DAY TIME.

  5. Do not chase or follow the girl if she walks away from you. If he she rejects you and walks away, let her go. The moment you approach, stand your ground, finish your opener and let her decide if she wants to stay or leave.

Common FAQs from my students:

  • What if she’s on the phone?

This one’s gonna be a hot take. But you approach anyways. If her phone call is more important then she will prioritize the phone call over you and walk away or reject you then she’ll go back to her phone call. Common rebuttal is “oh that’s rude” or “it shows you lack common social queues”. I can’t tell you the amount of times where it has never been an issue for me or any students, literally ZERO and I’ve coached 100’s of students. It’s only an issue if she rejects you and you continue the approach. As long as your approach is warm, welcoming and gentlemanly then it’ll never be an issue.

  • What if she’s with a group of friends?

Then use group theory, I explained in a previous post in meticulous detail on how to approach entire groups on your own.

  • What if she’s wearing headphones?

You can still approach her if she’s wearing headphones but you must give proper and VISIBLE social queues before the approach itself to let her know that you want to talk to her. These social queues include but are not limited to eye contact, a smile and a wave or some sort of non verbal queue.
