Honestly, the mystery method approach (approach, attract, comfort, seduce) IS by far the most accurate model of how seduction works in my opinion. The details are much more debatable (things like how to attract, how to approach, how to build comfort, 7hr rule, etc.) but I have found seduction is all about those 4 things with considerable emphasis on ATTRACT.
