So I will be moving soon. As such I've been looking for apartments. I have had to go to the office of these apartments 3 times now for paper work and information.

Each time there was a girl working there. Let's call here B. Evertime I would go in we would chat kinda of casually. I made a few jokes and she would laugh and give me all kinds of IOI's so today after the paperwork was done I decided 'fuck it.'

Setting: Open like a hotel lobby. B and another girl are behind the counter. There are about 5 to 10 people in the lobby. Heres how it went.

Me: Well B, this kinda of random but you are absolutely adorable.

B: *giggles, oh that's sweet!

Me: I think we should hangout some time.

B: *with a smile, I'm sorry. I'm in a relationship.

Me: *said jokingly, That's fine I don't get jealous.

She laughs and I say, "I'm just kidding. Hope you have a wonderful day!" And then I turn to leave.

I'm recently single and even though it was fail (at least at a #close), it felt amazing! I genuinely wasn't enbarrased and walked way feeling pretty good that I even tryed. I know this is just the start and I have along way to go, but I wanted to share my experience. I could get use to this. The rejection didn't hurt at all. The anxiety of asking was way worse.
