Met this girl online and we've been talking for quite a while and I tried to setup a date, she can't make it as she need to go for a minor Op ( verified ). We are supposed to meet the following weekend but I was not able to due to work commitments. We'd be meeting on the 3rd weekend instead. Date set was my birthday ( coincidence ) , we actually agreed 2 days before but she needs to shift it to my birthday. I didn't tell her this , should I? It's ok as usually I celebrate with my buddies the day before.

Reason that I didn't want to tel her is because I didn't want to receive any gifts from her also since it's the first time we meet and I do not want to stress her also. But , I would like her to know to show her the vulnerable side of me. What do you guys think is the best action to proceed in this scenario?

Most of our interest are spot on she goes for Yoga classes and I work out, she is into keto diet and I actually guided her along as I showed her my result after the diet ( I lost 10kg in 2 months ) , both of us read a lot , she travels quite a lot and we shared similar place of interests too.

Initially , she told me that she's looking for friends and I told her that too. Is this a cliche ?

Last but not least, I'm just going to enjoy myself on the day ( most important ) and I hope she enjoys my company too.
