My guess is that this would refer to the girl being aware of you prior to your approach.

Ie strong eye contact, she observered you doing something or talking to someone.

For example approaching a walking girl from behind prior to her noticing you would not be this.

I think you mean pre-selection. Basically you cold approach to show value as a man to the girl or you simple are good looking walking around with a watch that says you make 100k/year while you are high fiving people who treat you like a celebrity.

Either way girl sees value and gets attracted to you.

If you're talking about preselection, it means girls finding you attractive because OTHER GIRLS find you attractive. Like if a bunch of girls like you, other girls assume you must be an in-demand guy that girls want to get with. Preselection has nothing to do with looks or money. If you can make friends that are girls and surround yourself with those friends, then other girls will see that and conclude you're in-demand.
