I spend a lot of time working in coffee shops on my laptop. I sit right by the door and watch gorgeous girls walk in, get a drink, and walk right back out all day. I'm trying to think of some affective way to get their attention enough to stop them in their tracks and draw them into a conversation.

So far the only one I've thought of (though untested) is to shout out a number like "7." If she stops and asks what you were talking about, follow with "That's my guess at how many guys have hit on you today. 7." Ideally, she'd laugh - maybe say something about how it's been more or less than that.

What do you guys think? Have any three-second openers that can draw her attention without getting up and chasing her out the door?
