How can something be "factually correct" or "efficient" but morally wrong? Morality is concerned with moral normativity, not descriptions.

If I said a statement such as "men are responsible" and this is some kind of quality or trait that someone has from the virtue of being a male, then that means that if I find a male who does not fit the description, it immediately demands a reason. Does sex have a "natural tendency" to "bond" people? It seems that it does for some people, it seems that it does not for others, I just do not really see why it would matter too much or how you would even figure it out at this time.

I do not consider "looks" and "personality" to have a separate statusin regards to being attractive, so this question seems to be difficult to answer. I would either find the person attractive, or I would not.

The person(Redpillschool) who wrote it on the sidebar, which Red Pill users themselves seem to neglect to read despite touting it as their Bible. Here is the comment in the question: https://www.reddit.com/r/TheRedPill/comments/1djuc7/puppies_randomly_punishedloved_develop_stronger/c9r0vu3/ Suppose there was a locked door you wanted to open, you could smash it open, pick the lock, make a key for it or look for the key. If you actually read your own sidebar, it is really clear what the person who wrote that is trying to convey. https://www.reddit.com/r/TheRedPill/comments/1djuc7/puppies_randomly_punishedloved_develop_stronger/c9r0vu3/ My point was that sexual strategy is amoral. You might stick to your values, but those who have sex .. have sex. This is a really simple point. What he is effectively communicating is that you can not say “that person is bad, they should never have had sex”. This of course does no…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/19 06:59 PM

It is not amoral, I can go over in more detail with why if you are curious. If you read the post where the user says it what he means is that the only way to have sex is to have sex, which is not too difficult to understand or come to as a conclusion.

I do, and I mentally group everyone whether or not I would be aware of it or not. "Alpha" and "Beta" are not a way I categorize people. The most black and white way I group men is by men who are threatening, and men who are not.

I think for something to be considered illegal it has to be permissible to be stopped with force or punished. For some immoral actions, I would imagine that it is immoral to do them, but at the same time immoral to use force to stop that person. One thing I can think of is people eating unhealthy food or starving themselves could be considered immoral, but I do not think it is justified to stop someone with force from doing those actions. In the case of a pregnancy that involves another human li…

Those men who are "basement dwelling neckbeards" could choose to go into military service anytime they want to or undergo a basic training regiment, but they choose not to. I do not even know if it would necessarily "help" them. I am fairly certain that "basic training" is also used to filter out certain types of people who are unable to pass the fitness test.

Saying a behavior is "evolutionary" is vacuous, all of our behavior is "evolutionary" in a sense because are - I assume - biological organisms. I keep everything extremely clean and orderly, because for whatever reason, that is the type of person I am. I have met both women and men who are neat and orderly(I know a male who was in the military who is a lot more clean than I am) and same goes for messy and lazy. There is not some special feminine essence present in every woman that makes her act …

She spends her entire life, every minute of every day, powerless and dependent on men choosing not to assault her. This is just true for literally everyone alive
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/19 10:57 AM
15

I will be speaking strictly using non-legal definitions here, please take this into consideration. Where sexual assault is concerned, there are degrees of the assault. The reason why there are degrees is is fairly simple, there is a difference between being coerced/pressured into a sexual encounter, being violently forced to do it, being sexual assaulted when you are incapacitated etc. To use a similar example to the cases of teacher on student sex you brought up, the reason why a 12 year old ma…

The porn industry exploits(using your body that way for labor hurts you “soul”) women/men who are desperate for money. It ruins men via pornography addiction and dehumanized women thus damaging their ability to interact with them in a realistic way.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/19 10:31 AM

Internet pornography is one of the most insidious things to ever happen, everything about it is awful and abusive. It absolutely ruins a lot of men. I do not think it raises men's standards, but it makes them have unrealistic and disgusting expectations.

It depends on why they did it I would imagine. This is one of those situations where I could think I would react in one way, but in reality my reaction would be different, difficult to answer.

How would you get this from my comment.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/19 03:32 PM

It would depend on the context. If my fiance rejected me for sex I would think there is something wrong with him or that he does not want me, which would both make me feel really bad.

The idea behind the men who dislike marriage is that they do not think the trade-offs are worth the benefits, and in a lot of cases I would say this is true, and it is not even that they dislike marriage, just the idea of divorce and what comes with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/19 01:14 PM

You do not have to link it, you can just say what it was.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/19 11:02 PM
4

Outside of mathematics or formal logic there is not many “proofs”. If you believe something you give reasons why you believe it; some of them can be studies, some can be observations, thought experiments and many other abstract ways of “proving” stances. For example: I think I am reading r/purplepill debate because I see the banner, the name of the subreddit is PurplePillDebate and I also have a headache from reading idiotic comments.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/19 09:30 PM
3

You need to take into note that linking a single source is not an argument either, it can be used in support of one and a lot of sources are also garbage.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/19 09:21 PM
1

Do you have any examples of this.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/19 09:18 PM
3

I would put a properly done study over someone’s “observations” most of the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/19 09:15 PM
7

Most people here do not have issues with sources or studies, the issue they have is with sources or studies that do not support their views.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/19 09:14 PM
5

How is this at all contradictory.

A lot of the "word mix-ups" I see on here are just people being terribly dishonest and making pedantic arguments(as is making pedantic arguments is popular on reddit). https://www.reddit.com/r/PurplePillDebate/comments/cbtpam/do_you_resist_jealousy_or_indulge_in_it/ The OP in this post used the word "jealousy", and a user in the comments pointed out they meant "envy", as jealousy was the "wrong word", as long as you know what they mean who cares what word they use. Cheating hurts because it is a betrayal of trust, you can do this with most moral situations and realize a lot of what guides people’s moral intuitions is a constrained set of principles, which I imagine are biological systems.

I think the type of person Orwell is describing is a power-hungry intellectual who will side themselves to where they think power resides, and will not take a second thought to exploiting popular struggles for their own gain. I suspect a lot of people who dogmatically support capitalism in a radical way could easily transition into being a Marxist/Socialist/Communist if they felt that power was going to be in their hands.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/19 04:05 PM
9

My claim is actually backed by academics and evolutionary biologists. Yours is backed by feminist blank slate ideology. Show your "proof" then.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/19 03:52 PM

So, I ask feminists the same thing I asked my gender studies prof in college: as a cisgendered, hetero white male, what positive things does your movement have to offer me? This would be like asking "as a slave owner why should I support to abolish slavery. Chances are you live in a decadent country(as most of us do) in comparison to the rest of the western world, and a lot of this has to do with moral progress. The rest of your post is just vague nonsense.

When I read men say “be nice” or “be pleasant”, typically what I think they mean is they want an automaton who is completely indifferent to any horrendous situation or radical negative change they undergo. If a partner told me to “be nice”, it would depend on the context, but the only way I see myself acting unpleasant towards a partner would be over something that I do not think I should act enthusiastic about.

I do not really see it as rude, it is really inconsequential and does not really harm people. It is just difficult for me to imagine why someone downvoting you, especially in a bottom-level comment matters, even if it is a moderator.

It is difficult to believe some people have such a level of arrogance they believe that the Earth is round. If the Earth is round then how come I am not slipping off of it? If the Earth is round then why are maps of the Earth all flat? Why are the bottoms of clouds flat if the Earth is round? It takes an entire level of mental gymnastics to justify the round Earth at this point.

There is feminist approved dating advice, just as there is Nazi approved dating advice or Catholic approved dating advice. One could go to r/debatealtright asking dating advice or r/Catholicism for dating advice, and what they will get is dating advice that adheres to that ideology and the general culture of that detachment of the ideology. Masculinity and femininity are socially constructed, so anything to do with that can in principal change. It is impossible to figure out if testosterone is masculine or estrogen is feminine by examine it under a microscope, these are just attitudes people have.

Your anaolgy to "truthism" is consitent with that of the scientific method. Keep what is true and discard what is found to be untrue in order to refine. I would say an ideology that stays consistent despite proof to the contrary of their claims is actually the dumb one. It would be like if I said ”science is incorrect about X” and then the scientist replied ”impossible, if it was incorrect it would not be science”(also I do not think scientists are even concerned with true as it is).

Sure but an average man doing game (dread or otherwise) can become attractive. If the red pill advice ended in looksmaxing then it would be filled with handsome guys chasing after 6s that treat them like shit. The advice trp offers (increase status, money, game) will make men more attractive and give them an edge over other men.And honestly I don't see how it is any different than how women act in the dating market. It just seems vacuous to say that, it is similar to saying “people drink coffee for both the caffeine and taste”. Okay, great what a discovery.

This is like saying living is an invitation to murder.

The complaints are of sexual harassment I would imagine. I think people with face tattoos should be able to work at a bank, similar to I think marijuana should legalized and I do not think people who commit crimes and serve their time should have certain rights taken away.

You can reason them out supposedly. Even if God did exist and did write The Bible, that would still not tell people what they should do.

Dressing sexy is not an invitation to sexual harassment, similar to how wearing a gold chain around your neck is not an invitation to get robbed at gunpoint, that is just a non-argument. As for your evolutionary psychology poppycock, there is not much to be said about that.

Philosophers typically use the words to mean the same thing, but I suspect the OP was trying to make the above distinction.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/19 12:39 PM

Academics still use the words “wrong” and “bad”, but they are more likely to use immoral/moral/what you ought to do than most terminology.

Ethics is not always synonymous with morals. Ethics can sometimes refer to how a group of people(see doctors or lawyers) make a system to conduct themselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/19 12:34 PM

A lot of other men would ignore it too. Most men are not heroes.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/19 12:18 PM

I suspect a lot of our moral principles are innate and not informed by religion, I just do not typically think of human beings as blank pages that are written onto that way.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/19 12:16 PM

I imagine no one thinks there is a specific ethics to dating, but rather they apply the ethical principals they have to the dating world such as: do not lie or do not harm etc.

As far as I know someone like u/atlas_b_shruggin and I different quite widely on who we consider attractive. There would be different “sets” of men that we find attractive, but I surmise that the women who find those sets attractive would not vary too much within the set, but would vary between the two sets. Emo women within the set of emo men would more than likely all find a smaller number of those men more attractive, but it is unlikely an emo woman would say find a man from a different set, …

Another word for low quality leather is “genuine leather”, it sounds a lot better. Being cautious in a high crime rate neighbourhood because you may be mugged is different than being cautious in a high crime rate neighbourhood because you are worried the street lights are going to fall on you at random. The amount of intention they seem to assign to women and they way feminism is discussed seems more like the latter to me, and a lot more of their discourse appears this way as well.

It is difficult to really say anything meaningful about the success rate of The Red Pill, but despite this it seems utterly farcical to claim that because it did something to you this implies that in general it does this. A lot of Red Pill users to me do seem paranoid and frightened of everything, but it is entirely possible(and I imagine likely because of the type of person who would read The Red Pill) that they were this way prior to reading it.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/19 12:34 PM

The concept is simple; it is a conventionally attractive male who can easily have sex. I suspect there is a level of dishonesty when people say they do not know who ‘Chad’ is or deny the existence of ‘Chad’. It is a similar to denying the existence of rivers or piles. People can and do argue over what characteristics ‘Chad’ has, but it is a rather pointless affair, because it is often meant in the de dicto sense and not the de re sense.

Just repeating "apex fallacy" over and over again is not really an argument, I really wish logical fallacies would just die already. There are large numbers of women being exploited by the pornography industry, this absolute benefits men and the push to legalize another exploitative line of work - prostitution - will also benefit men. Sex positive culture has negatively effected the majority of men but positively effected the top percentage of males Can you give me something of substance to work…

It is real pragmatically, the impacts of it will often just not be seen directly or they will only be contributing factors. Feminist thought is popular among the people who set trends and have some level of power in the education system.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/19 02:10 PM

Sex positive feminists that take positions that sex work is empowering or that sleeping around is etc. absolutely benefit men. Or the feminists who think that having the right to eat men's scraps is progress.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/19 02:08 PM
6

I think almost every atomic claim about the characteristics of feminism are false considering how diverse the beliefs of people who proclaim to be feminists are and how feminists can have violent disagreements with each other. In addition to this, there is no top-down authority that decides what is and is not feminism and feminism is not some monster sitting in a cave burning bras with its fiery breathe and eating men. I am just going to agree with the sentiment that "feminism is women talking" …
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/19 02:05 PM

Feminists often do take ideas individually, it is typically there opponents(such as yourself) that turn it into a set.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/19 01:57 PM

This is a logical conclusion to come to, considering a lot of men do actually support this claim by professing just how important sex is to them and how sex drives a lot of their motivation.

I would surmise there would be sexism in criminal sentencing, but it seems unlikely it would account for all or even a significant amount of the sentencing disparities. For people who actually do care about the criminal justice system and men's treatment in it ought to look at the structural issues that occur that seem unjust and they ought to look at why men have a tendency to commit crime(I assume it has to do with cultural attitudes, economic decisions and genetic tendency) in the way they do…
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/19 01:53 PM

Saying feminism "is just X" is false because there are different types of feminism. There are feminists who hold the position that equality is untenable, so women ought to just drop out(a lot of communal and separatist feminists) of the societies they live in to escape it, this is hardly a call for equality.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/19 01:48 PM
4

The problem is that people are responsible for the actions that they do and have control over. Holding a feminist responsible for the position of another feminist is an outright false way of thinking. Feminists are individual people, it is not some monster in a cave.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/19 01:47 PM

We are biological creatures, our senses are biological and there are things that would exist past those senses that can be inquired into and discovered. This is why science is generally useful. I would surmise people with gender studies degrees are likely earning more money than most people. People who study gender studies are not doing it for vocational reasons.

No one here is doing gender studies. I would be surprised if anyone here has even read one page from a genders studies book and most people here seem to dislike it as well for whatever reason. Gender studies is concerned with gender identity, which a lot of people here outright reject or find absurd.

Most romantic relationships, at least in the West are consensual and involved two people making the decision, for this reason this view seems off.

This question seems impossible to answer. Humans do have instincts, this is not disputed by anyone relevant, but there is a discussion to be had on what those instincts are or how much of our higher order beliefs would be constructed by them. I think women are better at knowing what other men find attractive than men are at knowing what women find attractive. Whether or not this is instinctual, socialized or a combination of both is up for debate.

You can certainly discuss it if you want to. I personally find the topics of dualism or obscure theories about children’s television shows or movies to be the same as this discussion, but I do not think people should not discuss them. I would just refrain from saying this matters as an intellectual exercise or for any pragmatic purposes.

I do not personally think that women have an easier time dating, they will just face different challenges. But I do not feel as if I need to provide reasoning for this above view as that would be fruitless because even if this was true the comparison is useless. Assuming it is true that women have an “easier time dating”(which I do not think is the case), What relevance does men having an “easier time” dating really? It is about semantics, because it is concerned with language so you have that part correct. However it stands to me that saying ”Mein Kampf is bad” and ”The Emoji movie is bad” both have skeletal meanings obvious but one is concerned with normativity(used in a deontic context) and the other is concerned with aesthetics.

I would not say the preferences are necessarily irrational, but the inconsistent application of them are. For instance a woman rejecting a man for being 5’11” as opposed to 6’ appears to be a really irrational preference and often times probably is.

I would not say it is similar or even like a taste because people talk about it as if it is a feature of the situation as opposed to just saying ”I think coffee tastes good”. This does not explain why people disagree about morality either and more importantly people can find something disgusting but not immoral. It is not unreasonable to take the position that even if I thought I should stab myself in the leg with embroidery scissors that is what I should do.

I think there are things that are “good” and “bad”(I do not like using that terminology because it sidetracks the discussion often) and that these are a matter of fact. It seems as if there is things that I should do. I could continue my cross-stitch project or I could stab myself with my embroidery scissors in the leg, it is intuitive that one of these decisions seems correct and I could say ”it would be bad to stab myself in the leg with embroidery scissors” seems to have a meaning to me.

This woman is a fictional person from a song, so I do not find discussing her directly to be to meaningful as a real person who can be "reformed". What can be done is making a conversation about agreeable women that do exist and not the case study of a song lyric. Today, you can be a slutty as you want, as long as it's for purely cold, selfish reasons, and you maintain indifference to men's feelings while doing it. The problem on the other side is to go to the extreme and say all of the rape statistics are not to be trusted, which is not the case. I know there are people on here who are rape apologists that can automatically do not trust anything any women say. “Anti-rape” is an odd way to put it, but there are organizations such as the The National Domestic Violence Hotline and RAINN used to use it as well(not too sure if they still do). I think rape apologists are “pro rape”, but keep it discreet.

Because the statistic “1 in 4 women are raped” is derived from “1 in 4 women are sexually assaulted”. This statistic is true, but it counts “sexual assault” as any unwanted sexual touching. For example: My friend at school had a boy snap her bra-strap. This would count towards “1 in 4 women are sexually assaulted”. Sexual assault statistics are dishonestly presented and interpreted with an agenda in mind(by more than just feminists or anti-rape advocates).

A "nice guy" is the dating equivalent of someone who plays an online team game and thinks he deserves a higher rank, but his "team holds him back". /r/PurplePillDebate08/05/19 02:29 PM

I did. It is probably impossible to turn a "non-slut" into an Audi, because a "non-slut" is a person and an Audi is a car, and it would be functionally impossible to turn someone into a car.

I think it is “artificial” in a trivial sense, but it still has an impact. The discussion is, to put it in a crude way over the extent the game is “rigged” or if the player is poor.

The concern is whether or not these are personal problems or problems with a system. If someone has anger issues and that prevents them from making friends because people do not want to be associated with them due to their company being unpleasant, this seems to be a personal problem. If someone is unable to get a job because of the color of their skin due to a law or a deeply ingrained cultural bias against that particular skin color, that appears to be a more systematic problem. There is debat…

If I am the owner of a business and I only work for 20 hours a week checking on the business, doing the accounting etc. and I want to hire an employee who can work 40 hours a week, is that a double standard?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/19 02:47 PM
7

Double-standards by definition are unfair, and people typically think things ought to be fair, so that is why it bothers them. People value truth, honesty, and by extension just treatment. A lot of the examples you gave are not double-standards, but they are just treating people differently or having a preference. In terms of the "n-count preference discussion", it is difficult to see what the meaningful difference between a man having sex with 100 women and a woman having sex with 100 men is, b…

Anthropologists were shocked to discover that Eskimos(I think it was them) practised infanticide. By Western standards this practise is considered barbaric. But if you examine the reasons why they did this practise, it makes a lot more sense. They were nomadic, so they moved around a lot, food and recources were scarce, so having an extra infant was extremely costly to them. Because our material conditions are different, infanticide seems like a bad choice, so people dislike it and protest it. I…

If the “believe women” in actual effect means that you also believe the person they are accusing is a rapist, then that seems to be a poor way of addressing that issue. I do agree that vicim blaming and thinking a woman is lying is also a poor way to address the issue, but if it producing an impact that holds the accused as a rapist because of one person’s words(there is some evidence suggesting this is what happens), that seems wrong.

I generally believe in “innocent until proven guilty” and due process, so automatically believing someone with no evidence is “upsetting”. However, at the same time I think jumping to the conclusion lack of evidence means it definitely did not happen and doing the opposite- assuming all women are lying about it immediately also seems concerning. I think this is a false equivalence to compare the two, but your logic as to why it is appears to be flawed. /r/PurplePillDebate03/05/19 11:19 AM

I would probably say the same thing about groups of anything. If a doctor specializes in gynecology, and thus only takes patients with female reproductive systems, this is treating two groups of people differently, but this is not necessarily harmful so it does not seem sexist.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/19 04:13 PM
3

Two people being treated differently does not necessarily entail prejudice. That seems like a really huge leap to even think that anyone would classify this as sexism. It seems like a really harmless social custom(if this was true).

If N-Count is not a measure of being a slut. A woman who has slept with 5 men in 5 years will be seen as less "slutty" than a woman who has had sex with 3 men in one hour. I would say they are correlated, but the attitude does not seem to depend on strictly the number and I do not think one needs statistics to make those judgments about someone. I imagine the women who oppose divorce have different reasons for it, and I am unsure of what their arguments are, but I doubt they typically come down to giving men more "power so to speak.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/19 02:30 PM
10

Generally people have an idealization of a "hierarchy" in their head and how that hierarchy "should" be. For a lot of men, the way the hierarchy ought to be set up is that men are at the top, and women are all their subordinates. Letting a woman have the ability to divorce a man is giving the woman "power" over him, thus breaking the imaginary hierarchy in their heads and this is why it upsets them so much. If you look it that way, it is easy to see why it would be considered "wrong".

Not really

By "her" I mean personality/soul/brain. Her brain is part of her body, and thus is part of the physical world, there seems to be no room for any supernatural souls or brains. What role would this separate substance play and how would it interact with her body.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/19 04:59 PM

At the base of it, she is there because I want HER, not because I want her body or need a companion. I mean she is her body, so it makes no sense that you could want her and not her body.

I do not really want to go digging for these studies right now(you can message me if you want to know when I find them later) but there is one study that suggests women blame themselves for losses, being abused, being unattractive, being sexually assaulted etc. But do not blame themselves for structural oppression. /r/PurplePillDebate14/03/19 04:43 PM

Women's physical beauty is valued more than males. You can see this in hollywood movies, how insecure/unsure a lot of women are of how they look etc. Men generally are not valued for their looks as much as women, but other factors like socioeconomic status, capability etc. Generally as people age their earning potential and status raise, so it makes sense that over time men would generally go up in their "value".

Your personal experience would not negate the findings of a study. If I do a study that says "80% of married women drink wine" and you are a married woman who does not drink wine, that still does not make the study inaccurate.

It does not really look like they are denying "the wall" outright, it looks more as if those comments are addressing the nuances of it that Red Pill users might seem to often miss. When you murder someone you deprive them of everything they have or could have ever had. You also take that person from the rest of the world. When a rape happens you deprive that person of a lot of things(this varies from case to case) but not everything.

The answers to these questions seem extremely obvious. If someone flirts with someone and that person asks them out, the person who flirted first obviously initiated it. Pursuing generally means to follow or chase someone, so if you are chasing someone you are probably pursuing them. This does not seem too complicated and I do not actually see the function in trying to make it more complicated than this unless you are trying to explain it to someone who has a social disorder such as autism etc.

Consider every one of the situations above and realize how there is a strong double standard on how much each sex cares about looks and how much each sex objectifies the other. It is not really a double standard because the two situations are completely different. CMV - your thoughts on the 'list of traits' (I'd add 'in some way uniquely desires to be a part of my life' to my personal list, but I think this is a good generic one), especially if you think it's bullshit, convince me that hypergamy as a concept is fundamentally distinct from the socialized 'male' desire to obtain attractive object-women, etc. The issue with your argument is that it exists orthogonal to the argument of what "hypergamy is". A lot Red Pill users clearly believe that "hypergamy"…

Gender =/= sex simply because it's easier to have different words to express different things. If the user arguing this has sufficient reason to believe that this distinction is irrelevant, lacks verisimilitude or thinks there is a superior alternative to explain it, then they can reject it. I would not go over the examples with you(as I wrote). Involuntary celibates and Red Pill users share similar views on women(hypergamy, c*ck carousel, celebrating women being hurt etc.) so it seems to be connected. The difference comes from the normative claims.

There are people who are vegetarian and vegan that do not obsess over it and go out of their way to participate on their communities, and then there people that do. I w…

Red pill is the solution to being an incel. How would red pill make you an incel? Most involuntary celibates know about The Red Pill, so I assume it acts as a gateway to the involuntary celibate communities.

What do you mean?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/19 02:10 PM
3

I will give the same example that I put in my other comment: There are people who are child free that simply do not have children and do not want them, then there is the child free community. The child free community pathologize their status as child free and seem to think everyone cares about their decision to abstain from having children. The latter is irritating and I find it really sad, and the latter is similar to the MGTOW community.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/19 02:10 PM

Yes, he is making money from his YouTube. A better way to explain this would be people who are child free and child free communities. There are people; who for whatever reason; choose not to have children, then there is the child free community. The child free community are anti-natalists that pathologize their status as child free and seem to think everyone cares about their decision to abstain from having children.

Sandman is a good example of what I would call a "MGTOW". He makes YouTube videos bitterly ranting about women every single day(as far as I know). This seems like the opposite of "going your own way".
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/19 02:01 PM

There is a qualifier that needs to be added here; when I refer to MGTOW, I mean being a miserable person posting on the subreddit or making YouTube videos. These people seem really fixated on women and dejected.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/19 01:59 PM

I do not think people are talking about women's issues that often. Who's presence are you in if this is a regular discussion topic?

Turning them into a hopeless involuntary celibate or a MGTOW, I think these are both awful things to happen to people.

Because you have women on your facebook who say negative things about men, you felt the need to post on here asking the users to stop. There is not a lot of insane "feminist" women on here, so it seems odd to ask this question. I do not really see the motivation for lying about partner count on a survey. All people can really do to figure out how many partners people generally have is to take a survey, in no way does the survey tell you about how individual people act or how many partners they had etc. But this is better than any anecdotes or people pulling numbers out of their anal cavity.

The Red Pill is into a lot of essentialism, determinism, appealing to traditions, regression etc. The Blue Pill are just going to be the people who oppose this. It is pretty difficult to give a short summary of any of these positions accurately because the consensus erodes with specifics rapidly.

Trying to compare entire demographics problems to other demographics and saying that one of them has it "worse" is really pointless to do. You can always find someone who has it worse than you do and you can always find a more "oppressed" group. Men's issues are not talked about much as the women's. Women's rights movements have been around for over 200 years, men's rights has barely been around for 50.

For something to be valuable people have to want it, if no one wants you that thing then it is not valuable. Imagine a planet abundant with gold, it would be unlikely that the inhabitants of that planet would find as much value in that gold as people on the Earth do. What makes humans differ from objects is that humans are the ones who assign values to things. All value has to be supervenient, this is easy to demonstrate, what you are arguing is that woman have essential value, or that value is …

I think men and women are victims of different types of violent crime, that is clear and ought to be obvious. Also take a look into the age group of the people who are primarily victims of violent crime and you will find that men ages 18-24 are at the highest risk and it reduces with age. This also correlates with the age of gang members as well. There are a lot of things you can look into. There are a lot of men(and women) who hang around on these places who literally believe that men's natural place is to lord over women. What reason do you think there is a relevant racial component(there obviously has to be at this point) with him taking Julien Blanc into consideration? It seems more likely it is just about his pick-up artistry.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/19 05:40 PM
3

People do not like pick-up artists, it is simple as that. A lot of the men who are associated with pick-up artistry are not the types of men that women want- that is probably why they are doing it in the first place. I suspect if the men doing it were people women wanted and appeared decent it would not illicit the same response, but that is just the reality of the situation.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/19 05:34 PM
3

I do not know what a "monoracial scottish response" is supposed to entail, but it makes a lot more sense people just dislike people who appear predatory following others around with a camera. That pick-up artist Julien Blanc got barred from the UK as well, he was Swedish I believe.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/19 05:29 PM
3

I don't think PUAs are well-known enough for the average person to have an opinion like that I disagree with that, most people who are dating are well aware of the existence of pick-up artists, probably no specific ones. If you told most people about them, their opinions of them would be low. It appears the idea alone of "gaming" women is what is making people uncomfortable, not PUAs themselves. If the men in the video were attractive and charismatic, no one would really care, these guys are dis…

I still think it justifies the response he is getting, pick-up artists are known to be fairly degenerate and creepy to a lot of people, it makes sense for people to be alarmed around them.

I am by no means an expert at evolutionary psychology, nor do I claim to be, but I suspect a lot of this evolutionary psychology that is being used by people is pure sophistry. The inference made by evolutionary psychology that certain traits were developed in the framework of selective pressures seem obviously correct, where I become sceptical is at the point of the story telling without evidence. It seems as if there is a lot of people on the Internet who do this without any knowledge or exper…

"Feminity" essentially means "Psychological traits or behaviours commonly attributed to women". That is interesting, so how is wearing a dress a psychological trait, what about the color pink? So unless you want to argue that men and women are literally identical(which is certifiably bullshit of laughable proportions) then feminity and masculinity absolutely exist. Where is the person in this post arguing they do not exist?

Just think about the type of woman that would post on there, it is likely they are only going to be critisizing it or attention whoring(intentionally or not). This woman would be more popular than any of the Red Pill men that post on r/TheRedPill if she were to do, simply because the only thing that would stop males from raising her to a high status is other men enforcing it. I’ve identified many traits in myself that are feminine in nature The first issue with this sentence is that there exists no traits that are "feminine in nature" as femininity is not describing any natural properties about the world, it is a social reality. Dresses and the color pink are considered "feminine" because of attitudes that particular people in a culture hold about those particular things. The same applies to masculinity. Asking what it means to "be a man" or what the behaviors of a "…

I would not prima facie trust anything anyone says, just believing what people immediately say without fact checking it or thinking through it can lead to errors. Is this what feminism really wants? Feminism is not a Cthonic monster in a cave, I also do not understand how you came to the conclusion that men are not "toxic" are not wanted by women.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/19 07:43 AM

"Will you please have sex with me?" I personally would prefer that. Women like suggestive communication You keep saying things and not giving any reason why. Also making claims about the "subconscious" seem really difficult to justify. It is far more likely that women are not responding to "Let's f*ck please?" because it is a really straight-forward way to ask for something that they probably find disgusting at the moment.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/19 06:23 AM

How do you know that? That seems really strange, women are told things overtly all the time and seem to respond to it fine. How do you account for that?

No, because I think humans are distinctly different than other mammals and trying to apply animal concepts to explain human behavior via analogies like this yield problematic and inaccurate. Substantive? When people enter relationships, there is typically expectations that are covertly or overtly set, and if those expectations are not met they become upset. People assume that if they are in a monogamous relationship it means that their partner is only doing sexual/romantic things with them, so it follows that if that expectation is broken that they become upset. It makes no sense to be more tolerant of cheating if you have those expectations of your partner and because you view it as some litera…

There is nothing out there about this opinion, as you can see it is not even that unpopular or controversial. Rape is a social construct If it is sex without consent it is rape regardless of social factors. The reason why it might be considered rape in a different culture due to age is because of the belief the person has about the person's capacity to consent.
