I think 'solipsism', used imprecisely as it is, gained traction in the manosphere as a way to understand women who, for example, choose to be promiscuous and thereby seek men who are promiscuous, choose to be single parents and can't fathom how that appears to be a downside, choose to be 'picky' because they want to nail down a man who is picky, etc. Used to see it on TRP and the old MGTOW from time to time.

Honestly, I enjoy stashing it. Last couple weeks I've been experimenting with beans/rice/lentils with 'crack an egg on it' or a slab of spam or liverworst. But then the other day bought a pair of sneakers, cause I needed them. The money in mutual funds/money market accounts is a great source of comfort, and am living easily on my pension alone.
