Most guys who have anxiety will probably say that’s it’s uncomfortable talking to women. That’s why getting used to it aka exposure therapy is often suggested. But calling it mental torture, like seriously how severe it is? You might have some mental issues or conditions in the background that you may not be aware of.

These days I don’t often hear “I have a boyfriend” from the women I’ve approached. I think if they’re attracted to me, they will hide the fact that they’re in a relationship. Is it possible that “I have a boyfriend” is a shit test or “hard to get” tactic? Sure, even tho I bet that doesn’t happen often. But I always look at the whole situation. How she says it, her tonality, her facial expression, her reciprocity. If it’s a shit test she’d say it in a playful way. If that’s the case I’d just be l…

Yes. Use your head, not your heart. Even if you’re exclusive with someone, even if you’ve been together with her for a year or 2, you’re not supposed to give 100%.

You’re just being rusty at least that’s what we here in the US call your situation. How do we sharpen a dull, rusty knife? That’s your answer.

Even a lot of people who are great at something can’t explain how they do it. That’s why we often hear “just be yourself” or “just be confident”. They don’t realize they’ve become very good by doing a lot of practice over the years, mostly since younger age. Others say they look natural when they do it, their conversation flows smooth and feel organic. The game basically has 2 combos; the inner and the outer game. They’re the whole package. The inner game talks about your character or personalit…

Just say no, or no I can’t. No need to say sorry or explain yourself. If they insist then cut them loose.

Typically the damage is already done once you put her on the pedestal then you start catching feelings. Obsession is not the actual problem, it’s the output of the problem. It’s like obesity is the output of the problem, but it becomes too late when you don’t watch what you eat assuming everything will stay the same. Once you see the scale and you’re up 10 pounds, you panic. But you did things that caused that months before you step on the scale. Same thing with obsession or onetitis. Go back to…

I don’t stay with them, it’s mostly flings. I wouldn’t call it a date but yeah I see others too at the same time. Rotating 2-3 girls regularly.

Have you slept with white or hispanic girls before? If you have, then race is not an issue. Do you have non-Indian girls in your social circles? Maybe start from there. I’d always love to suggest cold approaches, but that’s not the only road to Rome. The only one thing I disagree is the “choosing signals”. Just disregard that. Girls don’t really do that unless you’re extremely attractive, like “you make all the girls turn their head once you walk into the room” attractive.

Because some people are too quick to give up when they don’t see any results. Some wanna be the Michael Jordan of seduction? Fine. But the Michael Jordan of basketball practiced at least 6 hours every single day even before he joined NBA. Kobe Bryant regularly showed up at a basketball court at 4 in the morning . A friend of mine who’s a pro swimmer once told me if she sees the sun before she gets to the pool, that means she’s already too late to practice. So to all these people, these are the s…

Good for you. I would use that experience as an anchor/ baseline. Remember the feeling and the vibe you had when the conversation went well and she gave you her number. You know how it feels. So next time you approach, bring the same vibe with you.

Almost everyone is a good conversationalist if it’s with people they know (friends, families). Because there’s a lot of common grounds that they share. Even kids are, as well. They are chatty when their relatives visit them. But they run to their rooms when they see someone they don’t know in the living room talking with their parents. Not only because they are shy, because they are not trained to start and maintain a conversation with strangers. There’s no common ground. When one has actual goo…

From all the posts and comments you made, I get the impression that you have zero conversation skills (I’m not even talking about seduction skills yet). Try talking to stranger guys or even elderly people; that way you have no expectation or get intimidated by a woman’s pretty face. See what you can pick from the conversations and how they organically flow.

I’ve slept with coworkers before. I don’t really approach them at work; sure yeah small talks and stuff. But I do most parts outside work. Meeting them after work, minimizing text (because some girls like to kiss and tell, they will show the texts to other coworkers). This is why people always surprised when they find out I’ve slept with so n so. They notice that I don’t really talk that much with the said person. Yeah because I’ve learned my lesson. Married people flirt with others at work and …

That’s where we differ. You assume that “very few guys” actually go up and talk to them. Yes maybe if they’re mid or below mid. And second, even if it was true, do you think the only people who talk to them in a whole day are those stranger guys? No other women talk to them as their friends? What makes you think that the guys’ openers are not buried among all those “small talk” they’ve had with other women? Listen, more than a dozen girls had showed me and told me how guys approached them, eithe…

I’m not implying that women are stupid or forgetful. Openers are just a warmup or a gateway into the main convo (unlike in movies where “you had me at hello” stuff are so romanticized and every woman drools over it). Think of an opener like an appetizer of conversation. It’s just a general fact that most people (men and women) are not really interested in what someone opens with in the beginning of the convo. Heck, we even forget what shirt we wore a couple days ago. We only remember the general…
/r/seduction23/07/26 10:17 PM

No. Openers are highly overrated. As long your opener is not out of pocket and gets them to talk to you, you’re good. I can guarantee you most women wouldn’t remember what your opening line was. In general they would remember how you made them smile and laugh overall.

I don’t see any problems here, maybe just a slow process but if you don’t mind it then that’s fine. Yeah I wouldn’t go deep into texting especially if she’s far away. I wouldn’t even text her first, just wait until she gets back.
/r/seduction23/07/26 01:24 PM

Have sex with her first then proceed from there. Don’t get trapped into “dating apps” mode which people state what they want in a relationship in their profile before meeting up. In reality it very often doesn’t work that way.

Dude, don’t compress all ideas into 1 text. That alone can be broken down to at least 3 texts back and forth each. ~ I wanna know if the rumor about you is true (it’s kinda a bait for her to react, wait for her to reply, this is good to see her reciprocity level). ~ If she said “what rumor?”, then say “I heard you do good choices”. If she doesn’t reply anything then there’s your indicator. ~ At this point she could reply with any answer. If she said “it depends” or “what do you have in mind?” wh…

I got the 2nd hand embarrassment reading this post lol. My man, don’t ask that kinda question if you’re casual. That question implies claims of territory and ownership. Your reply sounds like a typical redditor’s reply: when someone says something about things in general, then a redditor would say “what if …. /r/seduction22/07/26 10:18 PM

Yeah, even then I wouldn’t even see it as “hard to get”. Maybe they just threw a couple of shit tests, being on the fence, not 100% attracted, or just trying to convince themselves. Playing hard to get feels like being cocky. That’s more toward a male trait (or a dominatrix, a stud/butch).
/r/seduction22/07/26 04:02 PM
4

Because if it’s not “hard to get”, the story would’ve been over in episode 1 lol. But seriously, I’ve slept with hundreds of women I don’t see “hard to get” women in majority, more like a niche. Most women who are attracted to you will make it easy for you.

Just because she’s in your house and you said you want to kiss her doesn’t mean she needs to comply. Seduction is an art and skill of persuasion, not asking people to do what you want them to do. In some asian countries there’s a saying “even a dog will bark if another dog just suddenly humps on her.”

Less focus on online shit, more focus on seeing her face to face. Who cares if she doesn’t text you as often or just rarely sends you reels. As long as you have regular sex with her. I could be wrong, but here’s my assumption based on general cases I’ve seen with others: you start getting clingy because she’s the only one in your life that makes it exciting. While on the other hand she got other exciting things to do, or even exciting people to “do” lol. So while she thinks she gives you enough …

“Then why is she trying to reach out to me” Does it matter, tho whether she tried to reach out to you or not? Are you the type of a guy who feels flattered and gets his emotion inflated whenever a girl approaches him? Sure you can “try something with her”, as long as you don’t catch feelings.

Probably breadcrumbing. There are girls like that, flirting with a lot of guys even in the same room. Basically throwing baits randomly then see who takes them. They don’t care if you see the action, might as well used to their advantage (“are you jealous now?” / “do you want me more now?”). Typically nice guys/naive guys who fall for it. It’s basically IDGAF attitude; that you’re there to express yourself, not to impress. People who are “shelling” themselves don’t want to show their flaws. Like a kid does an act whenever there’s a guest in the house, just because his parents instructs him to be on his best behavior. Basically idgaf attitude is similar to outcome independency. You’ll come to the point whether she reciprocates or not doesn’t really matter to you.

Attraction can be created. If it can’t, then no companies would invest millions of dollars in marketing their products. No nations would train their spies to seduce and lure in enemies. No talent agencies polish their actresses and actors to be lovable in public. The first ones you mentioned (story telling, cold reading, asking questions) are technically called building rapport. You could do that with a guy too, or anyone that you have no sexual attraction with. Because that’s not seduction skills if you wanna be pedantic. It all depends on your social skills; subsets are conversational skills and seduction skills. These are the stages you typically gotta go through. The first 3 are conversational skills, the last 2 are seduction ones: Can you open a conversation? Can you maintain a convo/small talk? Who said men can move on more easily? I’ve personally known one who offed himself because of the woman he loved. I also turned this way because I got cheated on by my fiancee. I took me close to 2 years to finally wake up from my self-pity. (I didn’t totally blame her, looking back I was a mr nice guy, or a fool). No it wasn’t lost. If I were you I would ask them what was funny. Not because you were offended but you genuinely wanted to know. Think of approaching a girl as a journey of having fun and building a connection. Don’t see them as someone that needs to be conquered or tamed, that way you don’t see it as “me vs her” or “me vs them.”

Your ego got shattered just because they laughed. I think their laugh is genuine, not trying to mock you. This is a downside of canned openers; they don’t prepare you for any possibility what the other party would say or do: You think if you asked an opening A, they will say B or C, then you will reply D. Turned out they give you Z and by doing that they catch you off guard and you panic.

You’re just not used to it. I believe it’s happened to most, if not all, guys when they’re still learning how to do it. Happened to me first DOZENS of times when I asked girls out. Now I ask them out like it’s nothing. Like ordering at a drive-thru window. I don’t even remember the names of the girls I asked few months ago. Same thing like having sex too, first times always made us nervous. Once you’re used to it, it’s smooth sailing from there.

Did you still meet them afterwards even if the text exchanges were not good? Then I wouldn’t worry about it. But if they ghost you or being flakey and that becomes a pattern then there’s gotta be something else going on.

First thing came to mind: You didn’t have sex with her when you dated her. I think the better question would be: are you able to make a move on her? Your “should I” question implies that you need permission or waiting for her signs first to validate your move which is kinda silly. I mean, imagine her punching your arm left a real mental mark in your brain. You come across as a guy who’s suddenly got turned on just because a girl touched you.

This is why I always give an advice even if you need a coach, you gotta be able to be trained face to face. We talk about skills here. Imagine teaching someone to play basketball or go swimming but you can’t see your student practice it. Then you gotta rely what your student needs just based on the information that he gave you. What if he lacks something but he’s not aware of it? Another part is human behavior and communication skills specifically, are so heavily-based context. 2 different guys …

In my experience fwb’s never last long; one of the parties will blink first and start catching feelings. So it’s up to you if you wanna cut her off to avoid drama, or you just keep milking her out -pun intended- until she finally taps out and decides she’s made a big mistake, or eventually meets another guy who can give her what she wants.

Like women, men also wanna aim higher. If you’re 4/10 then aim for 4-5. Not 7. Those 7/10 guys will typically aim for 8 or 9, not 4.

The fact that she walked you all the way to your bus stop means that there’s a big chance she can or want to spend more time outside the gym. She’s done a small investment on her end. If i were you I wouldn’t ask for a formal date. Instead, just ask her to accompany you somewhere like doing some errands (grocery shopping, buying a new shirt for you - “asking for her input” -) or having some coffee/brunch on a weekend morning.

Direct or indirect has been asked pretty often recently. It’s like asking “should I use a spoon or a fork?” Well it doesn’t matter. As long as it works. Even in some cultures you just use your hand. >>mostly made things clear on what they want Yes, it’s called setting the boundaries. It’s kinda different than “being direct or indirect”. It’s a mimicry. Smile to people and wave at them, you will see most people will do the same. Greet them “hi how are you?” They will ask the same to you. But the “chemistry, attraction, and tension between them…” I feel like you just added that narrative to the incident, because you’re an outsider, did you ask the guy if he feels it the way you described? Idk, i just felt like you saw it the way you want to, to make it meaningful since you said you’re a hopeless romantic type of guy.

A common example would be asking for her number. If she said no or offered her IG instead, it’s never good to double down. In that situation I would just conclude that I misread her (I thought she was attracted, I guess I was wrong). If that happens I just say bye and move on. I don’t even take her IG account. Her trying to give me her IG doesn’t mean she reciprocates. It just means she rejects me softly but still wanna be polite.

I totally agree with it, but you gotta admit it’s an abstract idea. I’m not saying it’s wrong, but it’s abstract. You gotta elaborate more. The idea of liking yourself or loving yourself is pretty often in this sub. Just search it. But when it comes to the reality, there are some people who find it hard to like themselves. “There’s nothing to like about myself” is pretty much the common theme from them. Now you gotta dig deeper. Because when people don’t like themselves, they already got a rigid…

I totally agree with you in principle. But this advice is more likely suited to be told to more women than men. Men tend to be more fairly objective than women when it comes to appraising themselves. Nowadays most women claim to be a 10 regardless they come in all way, shape, or form. It’s like Oprah giving a car to everyone; everyone is a 10. Even if the self-appraisal is inflated on men, maybe just inflated 1-3 points. Not like from a 4 to a 10 which I find more often claimed by women.

I would say that getting a number on OLD is a bit different from getting a number from cold approaches. On OLD’s once you match that means both are attracted; then you need to escalate or push it forward. Don’t let it get stagnant or going nowhere. Speaking of a house, I think you got it backwards. Determining whether you want casual or serious one is like putting a roof on your house. While the girl is the foundation or the house, but you don’t have her yet. So it’s pretty useless to put a roof without the house. Especially you said you’re still a virgin. Find whoever that person who will be attracted to you and vice versa, see how compatible she’s with you personality-wise. Then decide for yourself if you want casual or not.

Something similar that I could share: In our big family, it’s normalized we let our kids, nieces, nephews, to do grocery shopping with minimal intervention (we’re still physically there). They’re still 6-10 years old. The purpose is to have them grow a habit of talking to strangers (ie: other customers, cashiers). You gotta embrace it. We make mistakes. Not everything happens according to what we want. But that’s not the end of the world. And doesn’t mean we are a failure. What was your response when she said “I don’t want you to say that you had sex with me the first time I came to your house and we should go on a date first so we get to know each other better”? I asked this because it’s all too familiar lol. That’s just a typical long essay from a girl to explain something she doesn’t need to explain in the first place.

You look at it from a man’s pov. “i got a boner let’s go!” But too bad you need to a woman to get it done. Most women don’t look at it as wasting time, they enjoy your approach, the process, the journey to eventually have sex with you. Yes occasionally there’s some women who are horny enough to do it right away, but not in general. Go check out tinder, bumble, or hinge subs. Too many posts from women where the screenshot shows the convo goes smooth in the beginning then the guy insinuates “wanna…

In general we do escalations every day. We want to get to where we want and what we want. People working in an office “escalate” by sending emails to colleagues to get what they need. Even babies and toddlers escalate. They cry, shout, and throw temper tantrum because they want something. But we are not babies anymore, even tho we still have needs. We push it subtly and see if we can ease our way in by her reciprocating. It’s part of communication.

A friend of mine has it. When he approaches people sometimes he purposely makes it longer. So the first stutters are the real one, he just adds fake ones in the end. That’s what he told me. Which is hilarious considering his reasoning. He said he genuinely wants to see responses from people. He found out that vast majority of people are patient enough waiting for him finishing his sentence. It’s kinda like a shit test borderline being a jerk lol. But I guess that’s how he builds his confidence. …

Yes. I often escalate when I cold-approach a stranger. There are also times when I escalate and deescalate (step back) few times -either all happen in 1 occasion, or multiple occasions with same girl- which sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. Which is fine, no big deal. Once you’re used to doing this and make it a habit, you’ll see that escalation is just part of daily social skills or social interactions. Which is, again, not a big deal. It’s just as regular as a habit of casually greetin…

This is what I call “half-ass” logical, lots of guys have this mindset. If you wanna be truly logical, push it forward and outsmart your logic. Lots of guys who insist being “logical” tend to stay that way because they try to validate their insecurity or bias. While in reality, especially in social interactions, there’s many angles to see a situation like vantage points and you can slap the “logical” label to every one of them. If you can see all of them then you can objectively pick which one i…

No you got it backward. Escalation is a way to confirm your reading. If you misread the situation she won’t reciprocate, then you need to step back. If you don’t misread it, she will reciprocate. Either way, you’ll get your answer. But not doing anything surely won’t get you nowhere, and you wouldn’t know whether you misread it or not if you don’t escalate. “What would’ve you done?” If you’re not sure to go for a kiss, you could always hold her hand, playfully mess with her hair, give her a hug.…

A lot of people lie in their profiles. Men claim they’re 32 even tho they’re 40 years old, say that they’re 6 ft even tho they’re only 5’8. Women say they only want LTR but if you ask them when the last time they had sex, I bet you most of them would say within last few days or last few weeks. With who? With a dildo lol? Yet they’re still out there going out with men telling them they only look for an LTR.

A warm-up is often overlooked in cold approach methods. You would be surprised how your mood would suddenly improve once you talk to random people before you actually do an actual approach. The online snarky “go out there and touch grass” advice actually has some truth in it. The real life out there is often not as bleak as the online one once you start talking with random people out there. It feels like people boosting each other’s mood once they genuinely interact.

I wanted to respond in length on wtf is attraction. But I feel like your train of thoughts are scattered everywhere, unstructured, almost incoherent: thoughts are not our own? “Our legs and shoulders are touching” it sounds like what I call ‘accidental touching’. She didn’t purposely touch you. Cold approach is good when you can spark an initial attraction. The whole shebang, from your looks to your social skills. Because the whole premise is wrong. Human attraction is not static, not even constant. Think about it: if couples could get divorced, could lose interest, then where did the attraction they had in the first place go? If a couple could have wild sex multiple times, then one of them just ghosted the other out of the blue, so what happened to the passion they had that drove them to have sex in the first place? If an attraction could vanish, then it could also appear or even grow. If you’re talking …

Patterns are heavily correlated with bias, especially if we as the observer just do it sporadically and there’s no control group and no reliable data. Basically we see what we wanna see, we hear what we wanna hear. And we ignore what we don’t pay attention to. When you first start dating a girl, it’s always good to do physical. But not necessarily in a sexual way (kissing, etc). What differentiate a friend and a boyfriend? Friends don’t physically touch each others. A boyfriend just casually holds her hands, messes with her hair, gives her a massage on her shoulder, etc. Small things in the proper context, like: “Hey i like your rings. Improving social skills is always good. But to flirt online or thru text in a language you don’t really speak? Wait until you eventually meet the girl and she finds out about it. Another kind of catfishing.

Either she’s shy or not into PDA, you always need to lead. Don’t do big escalations, just 1 small step at a time. Get her familiarized that it’s not scary and it’s surprisingly comfortable.

Next time just do kino and escalate at home. Invite her to your house or hang out at hers. Kinda like “netflix and chill” or any other things you both could do (cooking, house cleaning, etc). When I read your post she reminded me of one of my exes. She’s totally like that. Anti PDA (public display of attention) and everything. She wanted me holding her hand only when we cross a street. But at home? Damn she’s wild and loud.

My gut tells me it’s a very boring and dry way to text I just read the article. This is a simple, mature way to text. He doesn’t overcomplicate it. You don’t text to entertain her or to impress her. But of course the context here is important: texts like this are good in a general situation. It would be a different case if you and her already went out on a date, flirted at each other physically, or even had sex. But initial texts? occam’s razor; the simpler the better.

This might sound I’m overanalyzing You’re overanalyzing. Typically middle or high school kids will react like this over which certain girls smile at them. Like they’re ecstatic over a smile or a stare, then they will gossip with other boys and share their analysis and try to find out which analysis is correct. But that’s about it. None of them make a move. Adult guys will just approach and don’t think a smile from a girl across the room as a big deal. The smile, the stare, or other body gestures…

It’s not that your topics are “too friendly”, but bring up the topics that she can relate so you and her can emotionally connect. Imagine you start with “I talk about my work, my life, now it’s your turn”. Then she takes turn to talk about “my work, my life” then what’s next? Out of topics to talk about? Just staring at each other or staring at the food? You gotta build a bridge between you and her so both of you can meet in the middle. Otherwise this is what people especially women say “there’s…

LoL what does “like a wanker” sound like? I always suggest guys to: Talk slowly. When you talk slowly, your pitch will be lower too. Release your bass tone. Don’t talk fast it will give out a high pitch out of your voice. Be expressive. Maybe that’s what you meant by being casual? Tonality and intonation are important and can be learned. When your voice/tone is flat, it gives audience the impression that you’re “weak”, not enthusiastic, or boring.

Tbh no such thing as “naturally” when it comes to social settings. The upside of dating apps is it’s far more convenient in multiple ways. Some call them the fast food version of dating. Emphasize on fast. Similar to spam messagings women’s IG accounts, out of 100 msgs you sent you could get 5-10 positive feedbacks and call it a day. And I say this as someone who’s no longer active on dating apps. But there’s also an upside on cold approach. It feels “natural”; you just saw me, and we both are a…

Why would that be a problem to me? If a girl ghosted me because I was sick and didn’t wanna have sex with her, that’s her problem not mine lol. I’d even be glad that she did that, meaning that she showed her true colors. Imagine if the role is reversed. If a girl blueballed me because she was sick? Yea obviously I’d be upset. Your weekday schedule obviously takes long hours. If I were you I’d just focus on your weekends (to go to the gym, cold approach, etc). Nah, a girl would do a shit test only if she’s sure that she’s interested AND her test won’t risk her of losing you. If she’s actually interested she would give you a definite answer. Whenever someone (not necessarily a girl, a guy does too in a different context) says “I will let you know”, just simply reply “okay.” The ball is in her/his court now, not yours anymore to keep pushing, asking, or even reminding. How old are you? Make a feasible target and schedule it, not just a vague or abstract goal. A lot of people have a good goal, but they never achieve it because they never break it down into a smaller, concrete, step by step process. For example: if you wanna lose your weight, target how many lbs or kgs you need to lose and in how many months you can feasibly achieve it. Choose what kind of diet you wanna do. Overthinking is another way of conversation. It means you talk to yourself in your head. Why people become overthinkers? Because they have nobody else to talk to. It usually starts from childhood, where parents are absent or busy, so the kid keeps talking to himself in his head. Kids who are sheltered or isolated slowly turned into introverted individuals and overthinkers. Not to mention some parents don’t allow or encourage their kids to play outside with other kids. Solution? Talk to more peop…

The question itself is faulty in its premise. Never met any guys who say looks don’t matter. Of course they matter. But how much do they matter, that’s the real question. But again and again in the world of seduction, when a guy tries to emphasize that “hey looks matter, but you can ALSO improve your added overall value by doing this and that”, typically there will always be some guys who shout “look at this guy, he said looks don’t matter!” Aka the classic strawman argument.

Her qualifying herself to you is very context-based. One can’t tell you what to say if the context is not there. If you forced it, it could come out cringe. Or it could be felt like a neg. The story telling is not to “tell me more about yourself” like in an interview. But as a gateway to let her open up, invest, and bond (her emotion) in you. So it’s not necessarily about “story about you”. But basically anything. You can tell her about what you saw, what you heard, what someone told you, or anyone that reminds you of her ie you watched a movie where its character resembles her, or your friend that looks like her. If you’re the 12th guy in that day who gave her a compliment, then it’s not hard at all to reject him. You gotta have to be picky when the supply is overflowing. Yes it’s always about supply and demand, even in the dating market.

Wherever, buddy. Be creative. Use your friend’s place. Or anyone’s place you know. Or a motel. In a car. In an alley. Or have a mini weekend gateway with her, one weekend in the middle of nowhere. One day my coworker took me to her aunt’s old house after she told her husband (right in front of me!) that she needed to show it to me because I’m looking to buy. Mind you, he’s better looking, taller, and making more money than me. We ended up doing it in the same house multiple times. I even asked h…

If you’ve made out with her before, then next time you see her just cut to the chase: her place or yours. Whether she’s got skeletons in her closet (her ex, actual bf) or not, does it really matter tho? Ever since her life sounds pretty chaotic as she gotta manage and divide her time carefully, just take advantage of whatever time you have with her, it doesn’t matter if it’s only less than an hour, just bang her.

if they would ever want to be FWB In my experience women who purposely want to have FWB are typically experienced/they’ve done it multiple times. So big chance they are not in your age group (I’d say late 20’s or above). Girls around your age don’t usually plan ahead to do an fwb, they just go with the flow. They will probably think about it after they have sex with the guy. The classic “what are we?” question will later come up. Then they will do the pros and cons in their head: Is my feeling i…

Nah approach 1000 women but if you don’t learn to improve or see what you did wrong is useless. You’re a good example. And besides, looks like your coach didn’t transform you into a better guy, game wise. Here are some pointers: Avoid having a dinner date. You seem to still have a mindset of having to entertain and pander to women. Direct them to have a casual date. Start from low then escalate slowly higher. A lot of women want to have a dinner date right away because they want to set the stand…

If you did it on OLD’s I’d say the flakiness there is abundant. So don’t get discouraged. It could be anything, maybe because they also have options, or maybe because they’re not interested enough, or maybe because what you said, or maybe they’re there just to seek validations. Here’s my unpopular take: don’t take it too hard on yourself. There’s always a chance it’s not because of you or what you said. It’s always encouraging even borderline sad, to see how we guys always want to self improve a…

There are some guys who seriously don’t enjoy dating. Some because they learned in the past that it was too much work (maybe their ex played them or cheated on them). Some others because they simply don’t know how to. One day I even got a dm from a guy who told me he prefers to jerk off to doing it with a girl. He said it’s safer, money and time saving lol. But seriously, it happened. And I believe he’s not the only one who has that same mentality.

Did you do any physical contacts with her? Hugs? Kisses? If not then it was more likely a friendly interaction. If you’re still with her I’d try to meet her up again and escalate to ride the momentum before you both part ways for good. The thing about her putting you in her video call with her family is more like a safety issue. A lot of girls do that so their family members know who they interact with during the trip, just in case.

Tbh he’s the only one who knows why he gave you hot/cold treatment. Could be a couple reasons. The biggest thing might be the distance. At least that’s what I’d feel if I were him. Or he could just put you in his orbit/bench. If I were you I’d let him go until he makes a real move. Online flirts and sex stuff don’t mean shit if it doesn’t materialize physically.

You gotta find the root cause why you are “lazy”. You can’t or you don’t want to? Are you afraid of rejection? Are you having low libido? seriously, this is a real problem to some men. Are you traumatized by something in the past? Do you feel that women and sex are not big enough incentive to work on? These are legitimate questions to a lot of guys. There are quite a few times I saw the chance to approach but I’m just too tired. Physically or mentally, doesn’t matter. I already have that scene i…

Before the how, find out the why. Why do you need to seek people’s validation? Most people-pleaser are that way because of their upbringing. Maybe absent parents, maybe their parents didn’t shower them with praises and compliments when they were kids. Or maybe they’ve been abused/neglected by their parents or other family members so the only way to feel exist is to get people’s approval.

Being playful (emotionally). If she asks your name or age, play around that question like “can you guess?” She would say “john?” Or “23?”. You can answer it by saying like “whoa do I look like a John?” Or “hmm… higher (number)”. Basically you can spend a few minutes just playing around her one question or her one statement to make her invested in you. This is what makes guys different from girls. Guys tend to answer or state things blandly or plainly. Girls love to play.

It has. “Trust but verify” is my go to principle. This is why Ross Jeffries said don’t listen to what women say, but pay attention to what they respond to. I always say that no one hates women more than other women. Because they know the level of dramas, the lies, and the hypocrisy among them. Almost as if they are projecting themselves to other women, like they see themselves in their own peer.

Just because you never heard, doesn’t mean it never happens. I seen a lot, guys came up with a lot of knowledges but in the field they froze. Or they had a script of convo then the girl said something that they didn’t anticipate or not in the script. Having a lot of knowledge is vastly different than doing it well. This is why it falls into skills category. When it comes to a skill, you gotta master the basic not just memorizing info but also practicing it, then you level up. One at a time.

Not doing anything is much easier than doing something, yet the reason you FEEL that it takes a lot of effort to not doing it or it feels hard is because you’re getting used to investing. It’s a sunk cost fallacy when one keeps investing even tho there’s no reciprocation or no rewards yet to be seen. If you don’t wanna get trapped into the sunk cost then you gotta stop investing or even withdraw some money back. Imagine telling your stock broker that you stop putting money in the stock and you c…

It will usually become counterintuitive. Imagine a kid wanted to learn how to swim and his parents flood him with all the informations about swimming. How to do this, how to do that, from A to Z. He would absolutely get overwhelmed. All the informations are not helping him, instead they mentally paralyze him. What should be done is just to introduce him with the basic of the basics. You gotta tell her in advance that you still live with your parents in the beginning of conversation. Of course don’t just bring it up out of nowhere. Just ask her first in your small talk about her living situation. If she reciprocates she will ask you the same thing. I’m inclined to believe these are as important as looks. I agree with you in principle, but… … first impression is always a “do or die” situation. It’s okay. There’s a lot of factors why people are the way they are. But just because they are the way they are, doesn’t mean they can’t change especially if they want to change for the better. This is why good parents train their kids to express their feelings since early age. Not only that, but equally important to distinguish what they are feeling: what don’t you like about the food? is it spicy? Salty? Bitter? are you feeling sad? Mad? Upset? There are some examples, but it’s still fringe, not a standard. There are men who stay at home taking care of the kids and the house and their wives work. Again, it’s a fringe. But even when you talk about women’s rights, it’s all rights. No such thing as women’s obligations, socially speaking. Rights are “me, me, me” while obligation is a duty. In this online era, internet or being online can be a safe space for anyone who are scared to show their real traits. People can be mean online, but they say they’re not like that irl. The point is only valid if you talk about average looking people or above. This is why rating is useful. Not to dehumanize people but to see where they are related to your personal preference. At this point I’m about 75% convinced she was just playing attention whore all along whereas the other 25% is this woman just being overly cautious. This is what happens when you put all your eggs in 1 basket. She still hasn’t confirmed but you already sound a bit too harsh. Just tone it down a bit. Match your energy with hers.

I’m not like that but I can relate. I feel we are socially pressured as men and not all wanna just fuck around all the time. When we daygame, we’ll realize how time consuming it is. Unless you’re a nepo baby who can afford being unemployed for months or years then yeah sure. What I do is I focus on a small rotation, keep 2-3 women on your orbit like they are your staples. Apart from sex, the bigger key imo is like you said: compatibility. If you’re a beginner in daygame, even finding 1 woman who…

So when a guy asked her out the next day, majority of the time nothing is gonna happen. Same thing with day game. Yup. That reminds me when I just had a high school reunion recently. There’s this guy who used to be very popular in school as he was very good looking and was in the football team. But when he came in, he still wore outfits like he’s still 10-15 years younger than he actually is, much chubbier, receding hair line, no career to be proud of, and… still single. Women behind his back just giggled and gossiped about how he is ”peaked in high school”. I think that’s the greatest insult a good looking…

Even worse, like Adam Sandlers. Even if you wear those outfits, just wear them at home or don’t post them on your profile. I mean yeah famous celebrities can wear whatever they like - ove…

There’s a millions of advices and so called rules for guys even to the point where it’s becoming comical. When on the other hand, women can be nasty but it’s seen as self-empowerment. Many people forget that everyone should be treated equally only in front of the law, that’s the ideal anyway. Other than that, people treat others differently and that’s okay. We even treat our closest friends or family members vastly better than we treat a stranger.

It takes a lot of assumptions in your post: Chubby doesn’t mean unattractive. Not the top 10% doesn’t mean you can’t aim an 8 or 9. You’re still around that level. Just the other day a guy acting like a white knight told me in my face that what I did (approaching a rando) was creepy. I was like “yea it would be creepy if you’re the one who did it. Quit projecting.” Even asking for a direction, saying thanks, holding the door for a woman, could be considered creepy. That’s how that word is losing its meaning. Just say “I don’t like to be bothered by anyone” or “you’re just ugly yeah I’m that shallow.” But don’t call it creepy.

You can’t go for FWB if she doesn’t agree to that. If she does it with you consensually then it’s ethically right. I know some women who are looking for something serious but also have a casual sex once in a while. Sex is a biological need, you can’t just suppress it until you find the so-called right person. What if you find him/her years later? That’s how long you gonna go abstain?

If you wanna see if she likes you, just casually ask her to accompany you to go somewhere; shopping, coffee, lunch, etc. Giving compliments is cheap and easy, no investment needed. after that she became weirdly colder. Generally when a girl becomes suddenly colder that means she’s aware that you are escalating so she backs off. Imagine humans’ interaction like a couple dancing. When a guy dances with a girl, all of their moves have to be in harmony so they are in alignment. So what happens here is after you moved closer to her then she moved backward. She did it on purpose. I’ve got lots of casuals from coworkers and acquaintances. If women can put a guy in their orbit, we should be able to do the same. Don’t be too quick to say bye if you see there’s some potentials. I can’t seem to shift the mood of the conversation from “a meeting between two people who like each other” to “a meeting that leads so sex” You need a catalyst. Most people need to bond first before they get intimate, sometimes it takes months or even years. Slowly build up their emotional and physical connection over time. But that process can be done much more quickly within weeks or even days. This is why people do verbal and physical escalation. Don’t just treat her as a friend as she might …

If they are rare beautiful women like you said then they will be rare. Aim lower, don’t just hit on a 10 or 9. Even 8 or 7 is okay too. Especially you said you’ve always been single all your life. Or ask your guy friends to see if you’re a 6, 7 or higher, attraction-wise (don’t just think “I’m the coolest person ever” because that’s bias). If they say you’re a 6 then start from there. Nothing wrong with aiming at your level.

People who say rejections don’t hurt usually either they never get rejected or they’ve been thru lots of it they barely feel it anymore. Idk about you but I’m in the latter group. Yea even attractive women don’t really approach they usually just throw a bait or subtle hints, sometimes so subtle that we don’t catch them. So imagine the unattractive ones. Quit trying to impress people. It’s not good for your mental health. Even if you want to put a song on your story, just do it because you wanna express yourself, not in order to impress others. Imagine your self-image needs to be approved and validated by others. That’s just sad.

Set your boundaries and have some self-love. You should love yourself more than you love other people, especially if those people are just using you. I know some people try to gain validation, confidence, or even happiness when their presence seems to be meaningful and helping the one they love. But it has to be 2-way street. I hate it when guys say “I’m happy when she’s happy”, that’s the most pathetic line a guy could ever say. Like his life doesn’t matter, but hers does. Again, love yourself.…

If she asked whether her girl bff could come that’s one thing. But she asked if another guy could come well that just tells you there might be something going on between her and him. Imagine if a girl asks you out then you say whether another girl can come too. I’d just set the boundaries on her by pulling back. At least show her that you have some self-respect.

So you’re afraid of rejection? Ask yourself: why? Does it have something to do with your pride or self-esteem? Let’s say you’re a restaurant mgr. how would you feel if someone asks so many questions before ordering your food? Like they wanna make sure that its taste really fits their preference. Most people will think “It’s just food”. Sure. No big deal. If it looks good then order it. See if you like it. If it doesn’t taste as good as you thought before, then don’t order it next time. Seriously, I never understand guys who think they need to make sure the girl likes them before making a move. What’s that all about? Does it matter whether she likes you or not? Regardless, make your move. If you find out she’s not interested, then fine. Nothing to lose. But make your move damn it. Ask her name, have more convo, find out more about her, then ask her out. Btw, this long essay of yours kinda gives me a headache lol. People make more moves with a shorter story than yours.

A friendly convo is always okay in the beginning. But it needs to lead to more intimate ones, the “you and me” convo. To create “sparks and chemistry”, toss some flirts and banters here and there, with a sprinkle of physical escalation as well.

Simps. They are simps. These are the guys who always do whatever women tell them to do. If she says she’s not cheating they will believe her. The why, the how, the what, and all other questions are only means to invoke their emotional side. Yes you can but you don’t have to. There are many roads to Rome. So the focus shouldn’t be about the questions, but how to be able to get closer to her emotionally. Even after she answers your question - instead of asking her more questions- you can reply hers by telling your similar story, or how hers is relatable to you. This is also another means to build rapport. Now you have more common ground…

Ok I didn’t know that part. I remember the ex I had for a couple years always asked me to do things for her, to the point where it’s almost annoying lol. But it worked. By me investing in her (doing things together with her), the bonding is slowly created and maintained. We became closer and closer and more intimate. You should learn about metacognition (look it up if you wanna know more). It’s basically to learn why and how you think and feel certain ways. For example; why you fall in love, why you prefer this thing over that thing, why you caught feelings. It’s like splitting you from yourself, or observing yourself from outside your body. For me once I do that, it becomes much easier to help myself. Instead of doing sporadic things in order to prevent things from getting worse which most of the time only …

Liking stories or selfies is easy, anyone can do it. You can always give him an opportunity to invest his time/energy with you. For example: ask him to go shopping with you. Yes I am. Well if I hang out with a girl that means I’ve already flirted and teased her before. We guys don’t flirt to girls that we’re not attracted to. And they’re aware of that too. So you’re right; the key is small escalations.

After I jumped into PUA hype years ago, I didn’t know there are classes that teach your vocal, intonation, the way you talk, your body language, even the way you walk. I hate that these kinda things are not taught in school. At least in not in public schools. I know some fancy private schools do.

To be honest: No one here knows, buddy. We only get incomplete pictures, as we weren’t there. My wild guess? You’re one of her rotations. I know you’re trying to cope and fix whatever you can fix for next time. But this ain’t it. Keep your head up, king and move on!

MM mostly works on night games. The method works when people stay for a while in one place, not out on the street walking to their destination. You need at least 15-20 mins if you wanna banter and tell short stories, not just “hey whats up cutie” to “can I get your number?” in 3 mins. This is why he also laughed when he realized guys approach random girls out on the street when there’s plenty inside the buildings.

Oh I totally get it and I agree with you 100%. But we gotta understand about the scarcity mindset: The reason they treat a first date like the beginning of the relationship is mostly because they don’t have any other options/women. Men put women on pedestal all the time because that’s the only one they have in their life. A mindset will automatically change when the situation change; I used to rotate 4-5 women for months. Oh my god, I felt like the king of the world. The less I care about them -…

I understand men’s frustration. Imagine getting only dozens of matches and from there you could only get 1-2 dates. So the numbers are already low from the start. This doesn’t usually happen with women where they could easily get hundreds of matches and dozens of date requests. Saying “just get more dates” sounds similar like when people complain they’re broke and we say “just get more money.” The question is always: how?

Lots of attractive women in Dubai are foreigners. They’re there because they’re either invited by someone, a company, or do some business. You’d be very lucky if they have time for a stranger like you. Why spending time freely with a stranger if they could get paid doing the same thing? The most extreme ones are of course the ones who go to “Porta-Potty” parties where sultans pee and shit on their face in a sexual manner. If you could get access to this kinda party then you’re golden. Clearly th…

Make him invest in you. Investing = bonding. For example: Ask him to do stuff like taking you to a store, to your friend’s house. I don’t tell women that, but that’s just me. For me it’s just weird that you gotta put your goal on a relationship like it’s a job. I mean, I’ve seen incompatible couples stay together for years just for the sake of “we both want long term” regardless how often they argue and fight, even in public. Imagine staying with someone just because that person happens to be there sharing the same goal, no matter who that person is. It’s kinda double edge sword. But you can use it to your advantage. You can always approach them and “kinda” hitting on them in the name of professionalism, obviously do it in a subtle way. If one questions you, here’s the kicker: “I’m just trying to be nice to customers.” Remember when a typical naive male customer always falls over an attractive employee, mistakenly thinks that “oh she’s very nice to me so she must like me.” The doofus is not aware that she HAS to be nice to him as he’s a cust…

Usually people like you have an idea of (hopeless) romantic situation, typically coming from desperation and loneliness, where there’s this idea of a woman that’s physically and romantically intimate to you. Because of this, you’re chasing every woman that you think you have a chance. You don’t really care about who she is as long as you think she can fit into this idea in your head. Escalation is like dancing. No matter how smooth your escalation is if she doesn’t reciprocate it’s gonna be useless. Start small like touching her shoulder, arm, or fingers, and see her reactions. Or doesn’t have to be physically; you can always escalate verbally like making the topic more narrow “you and me” topics. If she doesn’t respond then move on.

Social skills like approaching and talking to people are…. Skills. Just because you see people do it easily or naturally doesn’t mean that that’s the threshold. I’m in the camp of “if you approach a woman and she shows barely any interests, then you gotta move on.” But on the other hand, some guys think of attraction like a constant, like the formula of speed of light. Because of that, they think that it’s useless to approach a woman, even the ones in their circles. Their premise seems to be correct, but they take it further and they get a wrong conclusion.

That “went for a kiss” is where you messed up. When you do an escalation, think of it like building a jenga. If she rejected the last attempt (back/shoulder massage) that means you gotta start all over again. Idk why after “you stopped immediately” from doing the massage, you assume that she will let you kiss her. Not only that, escalation is also giving your counterpart a sign so she can respond back, so it’s a 2 way street. I wouldn’t escalate further if she doesn’t reciprocate. For example if…

This is the most realistic view. I’ve approached 10-15 sets a day when I started. Yes it gave me some benefits. One day I arrived early, sat next to another intern Some people choose a certain seat so they won’t be bothered. Most likely they’re introverted. You know just like in men’s bathroom. There’s a lot of empty stalls to pee on but “you choose to pee next to me” type of situation. Some other examples are probably their problems, not yours. But if you said you’re an introverted type, you’re probably clueless on how to read the room. But that’s kinda okay in my book generally, not everyone is expected…

I always avoid girls whose goal is to have 6ft bf or taller, that’s just a shallow mindset to begin with. Imagine what other shallow pov’s that they also have? And imagine if you have to deal with all those shallow pov’s for months or even years. Even if the reward is good sex, I don’t think it’s worth it. Now you’re here as a guy who panders to that shallow idea that you should be taller than you are now. So next time for example your girl says “hey I wanna have a 3some with you and another guy…

The fact that you are the new you now, not the old you, should give you the most happiness than ever. More than the worrisome of some girl still has the image of the old you. She will eventually know the new you, but like you’ve taken time building your old image in her mind, so it will take time too. The harder you try to convince her that you’ve changed, the faster she thinks that you’re just trying to get into her pants. If I were you I would just let go. Like I said, the new you should be gi…

Tbh my sexual experiences in the middle east are far greater than in the US. Taboo and against the norms alone make it more intense. The pleasure of doing it secretly because we don’t wanna be caught. But looking at your situation (young, live in different cities), everything is not in your favor. Logistics is a must, even if she wants to do it.

It’s her problem, not yours. Reserved people tend to observe from afar (mentally speaking) and very slow to open up. This is actually their problem. Analogically speaking; it’s not your job to try to find a correct key among possibly hundreds of keys to open her door. She can open it herself if she wants to. If I were you I would just keep doing what you’re doing. If you’re patient enough then you might have her open up eventually. But if you’re not then I’d say just find other options.

I just can’t get them attracted to me and I don’t know why. What have you said or done that you tried to “get them attracted” to you? Speaking and approaching girls are a big deal, they are first big steps. But that alone can’t make them attracted to you. Girls/women in general are sexually receptive when it comes to attraction. It’s your job to make them comfortable and sexually tense at the same time that you’re able lead them to another phase, not just the first phase of approaching and talki…

she’s either eating or leaving with her team. I would just make a small remark “hey what’s that on your plate? It looks good.” 9 out of 10 she will say what it is. Then tell you whether she really likes it. I usually leave it at that. No need to introduce your name. The thing about seeing her regularly is you can slowly get to know her. Next time you see her say something like “I’ve tried what you had the other day. It does taste good.” That’s it. No need to take her extra time. Regarding your d…

But I know nothing about her. It’s a work place, just be simple and professional: Introduce yourself to her. Or at the very least, make yourself known to her. If you can’t do that, then you need to work on your social skills. That’s a much bigger problem than getting into a relationship with her.

From your post you sound like you’re trying too hard on yourself. I had a coworker that I know that he’s genuinely a nice guy. But every time he talks to people, including me, we can tell his vibe is off. It’s like he’s trying too hard, either trying too hard to impress people or to be attractive, idk. It’s like he’s making so much effort to draw others to himself. Your post reminds me of him.

Nobody really knows what’s going on in her head but herself. Maybe she’s torn just like you are, maybe the drinks, maybe she has a local guy in her city, who knows. You should come to the point where you don’t have to worry too much what she thinks of you as it will give the signal that you have no confidence with yourself. What I would do if I were you I would just keep the convo open, but not so aggressive that you insinuate that you’re obsessed with her. At the same time keep it open with oth…

These kinda questions are only good if you just start learning how to approach people in general. Like an HR personnel asking interview questions to you; “tell me more about yourself” kinda stuff. Imagine you’re at a BBQ party at someone’s house, and you see this guy busy with his grill. Then both of you start talking, even for 30 mins to an hour. At least you got the problem right based on your title. Sadly enough most cases in this sub are about social skills, not the relationship or even seduction itself. But the former is the foundation. If you can’t get it right, then big chance you can’t get the latter right either. You’re right, your approach alone will signal that in a way you’re attracted to her, you are orbiting her, not the other around. So ideally that’s where you put your boundary. Next thing you do is when you start the convo, it should not focus on her. But the environment around you and her, or even focus on you if you can master it.

What I can tell you is at the end of the day it doesn’t really matter what was the actual reason she rejected you. Yeah you’re kinda hurt now but it will be healed over time. Like others said I would just move on. Approach and match with other girls. Relying/hoping on 1 girl will give you oneitis, makes you more vulnerable and drain your energy on 1 girl which will make the situation worse for you.

Following each other on social media without any convo is not a cold approach. I get that your ego might get hurt because she rejected you, so you try to find out whether it’s you or she just doesn’t want a guy in her life in general. But i’m more intrigued on why your 1 min convo with her started with a deep topic talking about a relationship. After all you said you haven’t talked to her in last couple years. I think your biggest mistake is you listened to people who told you that you’re a “nice guy/friendly type” and also women who said you give off a “fuckboy energy”. I mean yeah you can always listen to people with an open mind, but don’t swallow them as the whole truth. You sound like you get too stressed out by looking for all validations for the rejections you had experienced. My take is women also try to give you some validations why they rejected you. Another issue is you said your friend is extrovert. Then you said “just be extroverted and fucking horny”. Now my question is: how can you explain and tell introverted guys to be extroverted? It’s like telling poor people: just be rich so you don’t have to be poor anymore. Problem solved.

Another overthinking post. Quit worrying about what others might think of you. If you wanna ask a woman out, then do it. That’s even still a safe lane, idk why you think that’s not. Or if you think that’s still dangerous, just do baby steps. For example ask her to accompany you to go to a store to get some stuff. Or ask her to grab lunch together with you. There’s always something to worry about. Age, body fat, body count, a birth mark, an accent, etc. There are things you can change and things you can’t. I would say focus on the former. Another fact to keep in mind: people don’t give a fuck about all those. We are too selfish as a society and we worry too much about ourselves. Try walking around in public with your fly unzipped. If you do it for a few weeks and got no result, there’s always room to rethink and redo the strategy. Sometimes I feel the “numbers game” advice guys tell to each other can be misleading as if you gotta do it so often and so numbingly repetitive, that eventually it’d do you a favor, which is not the case most of the time. If you do something for a while and you don’t see a positive result, challenge yourself to see what you might’ve done wrong.

It depends on what you mean by “a particular specific way”. For example If I don’t have a crush on some woman I wouldn’t spend much time talking to her. Why should I? Be playful and flirtatious only when she’s with you. Things like her asking you to go to her car with her seemed to be such a missed opportunity. Being attracted to a girl is totally normal. Doesn’t mean that you’re in love with her. It’s still far from that. Having said that, the most typical mistake a guy does is once he’s attracted, he’s turned into a simp. You’re being attracted shouldn’t be an obstacle for you to treat her like any other girls. Social circles help a lot to improve one’s dating or relationship’s goal. This is or should be a common knowledge among men. Think of how a woman can get multiple orgasms in bed because how physically attractive you are. Even if you’re a bum, their orgasm doesn’t lie. Now think of how much money you make and that can only make a woman think what she can do with all that money of yours. But when it comes to sex, there’s always a side guy she keeps in mind. I’d prefer to be a side guy anytime of the day over the guy who got nothing else to offer but to flaunt his wealth as a desperate attempt to impress her.

Personally I feel like writing down your # on a receipt is so cringe. Never seen it in real life but it’s done in multiple movies. But if she’s attracted to you whichever you do doesn’t matter. Your real problem is not that, but one word in your post: overanalyzed.

It’s called a game because like any other games the pattern is pretty similar: from sharpening your skills to even the very basic thing which is warming up. Before you go to a club you should warm up by talking to people first. This applies to day game as well. By doing that you’re training and warming up your approaching/talking muscles before you deal with real situation. Guys often get trapped in frozen and awkward zone just like they’re told to box in a ring where they’re not even sweating y…

This sub only has less than a million subscribers, compared that to dating or dating advice subs they’re at least a million or 2. Even tinder sub has 5 mill last time I checked. Quit with victimhood complex, that’s feminist energy right there. I’m starting to think those extreme positions of those both men and women are just full of self-alleged victims. If they got things in common maybe they should marry each other.

I just can’t seen to get out of my head about going and talking to someone new. Yeah because you keep thinking about it but not actually doing it. By this post I can tell you’re an overthinker. The fact is talking to a stranger is as easy as talking to a waitress or to a cashier. They don’t care about you, and you don’t care about them. But you talk to them anyway. Overthinkers always make a big deal out of the stuff they’re worried about. “What if’s” hypothetical mindset cripples their ability …

Nah, I only see that online especially here in reddit lol. Most people I know are working adults, so at workplace people from vastly different age groups work together on equal level as colleagues. 20’s year olds going out with 30’s or quite a few times even early 40’s year old ones. I can understand the mindset of age limit if one is still in high-school, ie: oh you’re 3-4 years younger than me, so if I’m in high school then you’re still in middle school. But that’s not the case in an adult lif…

I would just simply ask. Anyway I never understand why people use age is a barometer. Is it just a personal preference or any other reasons behind that? Of course above 18 is a must. But if they’re around 5-10 years younger or older than you -if you’re 35 for example- I don’t see why not. So if you’re 25 I don’t see why you can’t go with 18-21 year old ones. Or with 30-35 year old ones.

It’s not about courages, it’s about convenience. Having to browse local bars or clubs to look for attractive girls that are also attracted to you is far more time consuming than doing it using doing it online.

So many times! This is where “don’t chase her” mantra comes into play. Which of course always mistranslated by the “dumb and dumber” guys by thinking they’re not supposed to talk to a girl. Yes, we should be clear with your intention. And that shouldn’t be contradictory with the “don’t chase her” part. Even just by talking to her she knows that you’re interested. Interested enough to talk to her. But not that interested that we’d treat her like the only attractive girl in the world or by putting…

“Comfortable in your skin” is the name of the game. It’s part of “love yourself” mindset. People who overthink usually care (too) much about what others think of them. What if they saw me doing this or that. What if I look clumsy or tacky to them. But if you think about it, there’s a deeper root cause on why people care too much about what others think. Maybe because they have self low esteem, maybe because they have a habit of seeking validation/approval from others. Bottom line: if you don’t h…

When you ask questions, do followups. Forget about 10-20 questions if you just treat them as fillers in a convo, they wouldn’t work. Of course it would be felt forced. 1 question would do. Let’s say you compliment her dress, then follow up by asking where she got it from. If she’s a local then the place she got it from would be familiar to you, too. Then tell her that you’ve been there. Tell her what you like or dislike about that place. Or what you’ve bought from there. Even better; throw her a…

She treats you like a backup then feeling is mutual. Either you reply her with a simple “fine hbu?” or like you said, just hold off. I wouldn’t think too far ahead. Lots of guys think of “moving forward” without realizing all that can be screwed up by the girl being flaky or ghosting them. It’s pretty much like chess moves. 1 move vs 1 move.

Cases like this usually occur because the pattern has already been set up in the beginning. The power dynamic is so tilted toward the woman because the man has pedestalized the woman in the first place. Always caves in, always says yes, always tries to “make it up to you.” Always the man knows a lot about the woman, her friends, her family members. But the woman barely knows anything about him. Doesn’t matter. You focus on the wrong thing. If she’s attracted to you, do you think it matters who gives out the number first? You said you see many men in good faith have died in Brazil. But toward the end of your post you said “I see all my friends dating and growing up.” So which one is the truth in your life? Not only possible but also doable. But the common problem is the concept of “follow back” or “number close” which barely means anything. Don’t focus on that. Put yourself in their shoes: imagine you’re an attractive girl, you (seem to) have a fun, interesting life, with lots of cute friends both girls and guys. The question is: why would I befriend you? Why would I need to follow you back? It’s like I have a lot of yellow and red stones in my collection, then you’re also a yellow rock. Why would…

Cold approach is only a means or a tool. People meet their spouses multiple ways. But the most common ground I’ve found is thru your own social circles. Speaking of a long term relationship, I think it’s the one of the most flawed concepts in dating/relationship field. People want to have a long/serious relationship just for the sake of it. One thing I’ve found that guys forget is personality is NOT static, constant, or fixed. It’s more like spectrums or a pendulum that can swing to left or right to certain degrees depending on certain variables. So when people say “be yourself” or “be the full/best you”, no matter how vague it is, it’s pretty much useless if you believe you can’t swing or just get stuck at certain points. A lot of people I know have left Tinder altogether so don’t feel bad about it. Overall with dating apps I wouldn’t really on any of them or base your success on them, their algorithm is designed against average guys. What I’ve learned: number close is pretty much useless, this idea was introduced when cell phones didn’t exist/were not mainstream enough / no social media. practice is more important than knowledge, but paradoxically you can’t make any progress without learning new knowledges if you’re just solely relying on practicing. being labeled as a creep/asshole by a girl is far better than being labeled as a nice guy. You can even tell her “I kinda like you” without expecting her to say it back. You both are adults and able to communicate well like one. Time to leave the “guessing” or even “lemme ask these online strangers about the girl I’ve been talking to whom they don’t know at all” stages behind once you’re into adulting.

The pace sounds a bit slow but you’re definitely making progress there. 2nd date wouldn’t happen if she’s not attracted to you. The point of escalation is to build and maintain the sparks/chemistry, not just for the sake of touching her. “My parents will be out of town next week” is her way to reciprocate. You should use that to your advantage. I would say something playful like “Finally I could visit your house and enjoy your cooking” or “I bet your bedroom is a mess.”

There was a viral video a while ago I had watched in another sub, basically explaining the difference between how men and women see on befriending the opposite sex. This one was brought up in the video, that men tend to talk to a woman only if he’s attracted to her. Now the side effect of it is when a woman talks to a man, he mistakenly thinks that she’s attracted to him (projecting). This is why men are more likely worse at reading body language and indicators of interests.

People befriend others mostly because they are in the same social circles (school, work, church, social clubs). That common ground alone can make great length of topics to talk about. Talk about other friends and their problems or even dramas in the same circle, or talk about the same problems they deal with at work or in school, or talk about upcoming events.

Most common problem guys have when it comes to approaching is themselves. Be it low self esteem, not enough confidence, shy, overthinking, yadda yadda yadda. To me they’re all like having your wings clipped so you won’t be able to fly. Imagine a potential of a bird with its wings, how high and far it can fly if we get rid all of the obstacles. Let’s say you meet a Japanese guy in Bulgaria. Do you think much of where he came from? Or his religion? Or his cultural upbringing? Most likely not, unless he brings it up. People typically dump their traumas on their friends. So when you’re still in the “approaching” phase and she’s already trauma dumping on you, she probably considers you as her friend or worse, a bff. Would you dump your traumas on someone you’re sexually attracted with? Probably not. Same thing with her.

I think what you need now is to escalate. Push (away) and neg is just to make things spicy so it can’t be too much. Like 5-6 pulls mixed with 1-2 pushes in general. I would just ask her out, even if it’s just something very casual (grab a coffee, lunch) and you go from there. Think of an escalation like a flight of stairs. Kissing and having sex are up there, like on the 8th-10th step. You’re probably still on 2nd or 3rd.

Here: one of the best posts I’ve read in this sub. Setting the tone/the mood is often overlooked in seduction or dating world. What I would do is high-five the bro and congratulate him. Generally you don’t give feedback unless being asked. But you could also say “hey mind if I give you some input from a man to another man?” If he minds then move on. But people usually don’t mind because you let him lowered his guard with that question. You’re basically asking for his permission meaning you purposely give him a power to decide before you proceed.

You could see things like this in a different way: he’s wearing a headphone: content with his life, don’t wanna be bothered, he gives himself some personal time, he sets his boundaries, he’s not chatty, he’s got some women in his life he’s not actively looking. he’s not wearing a headphone: always wanna talk to strangers, chatty, always look for attention, more socializing than working out, too friendly, afraid of being alone with himself, focus on others than himself.
