He’s cheap. He told you already when he offered a walk when you asked for dinner. Men with money don’t fear gold diggers 🚩

Same here! No one’s responded to me either x

I dated a couple guys who mentioned other women. I agree - I think he didn’t show up because he went to see his ex and at the very least, flirted with her at the bar. This guy is the cheating type who keeps a harem around. What more incentive does OP need to click block?

This sounds less like a friend and more like a guy attempting to be your fwb. Proceed with caution, but unless it escalates, it’s someone to talk to. Don’t go chasing him! Message ladies instead if you get lonely, or spread the love!

Maybe this is why I’m not touchy feely 🤔 love hugs, fear harassment.

Yeah, he said it could be changed later but then said about reviews being every 6 months. I’m thinking, I wouldn’t last 6 months if they burn me out like that. These places wonder why they can’t retain staff… but I’m in a place where it’s the only job I’ve managed to get.

I liked a LOT of random pages at 14. Everything from “I learned my abc’s in primary school and now I learn my cba’s” 😝 The whole friendship group has matured. A good number of them are married, or living together in serious relationships. 12 years is a long time.

Dumbass. He said she was hot and he lost his chance. He didn’t deserve her.

I’d ask him. My bf’s fb has “like big boobs” and a couple of other pages he didn’t even know he had on it 🤣 turns out it was when he was a teenager many years ago! If it’s met with anything other than “I have that?” Then that’s the thing to look out for
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/04/22 09:35 AM

Do you like him or the attention? As the other person said, if he wanted to, he would! Any grey areas mean no.

Omg could you imagine the confusion? 😂 “why isn’t she in love and desperate for my breadcrumbs? 🥺”

That he would be the one to magically convince you that this genre is good and that he is a fucking hero? 😅 Or just for the lolls because it’s fun? Sometimes I feel like this lad culture permeates so much with other men so much that they forget that we don’t work the same way.

Either she’ll end up single or he’ll end up with a surprise 2nd child. If he can be petty, then you bet I’d find another man to be daddy. Just for research purposes ofc 😇

This is what I feel. It’s all easy and well and good to like me for being cute at this age but who will truly love me when I’m older?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy02/04/22 10:02 AM
27

I agree that men assume other men are learning to be the best version of themselves, but I’m glad that as a collective, women are waking up to see that the men are being even worse versions of themselves from when they were younger because their predatory behaviour intensifies as they’ve learned how far they can go and how much they can get away with. I know that’s nothing to do with looks but it shows that they age terribly in terms of personality, hence why I think a lot of us younger women ar…

Nah he’s a troll. Don’t worry, it can’t be real. P.S. to the men who are on this sub, I’m “pre wall” and look like the kind of chick you’re desperately thirsting after. So nah mate, we aren’t “bitter” and “ugly” because “no one” wants us, we’re damn well sick of hitting you all off with sticks.

Wow, we dated the same guys 😅 so many dead- in-the-eyes types you’ve described. Where’s the heart, the passion? It’s damn sexy and I don’t see it often enough.

I dated many guys who got bored early on. They were always misogynistic and expected me to entertain them.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy31/03/22 08:13 AM
42

I personally allow him what I’d hope for men to allow me - a couple of “off days”. I don’t ignore others or become boring on those days, but it’s obvious conversation is harder. If someone is useless, or half-interested, and it’s not to do with their life impacting it, they’re a LVM.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy31/03/22 08:11 AM

A few days is still a great achievement! Pre-FDS ladies will still take months/years. Remember how far we’ve come.

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/03/22 02:20 PM

This sums up the recent groups I’ve tried to join. One woman said to me, “I didn’t know you were coming.” I thought it was almost like how dare I intrude and join? 🤔

This post has come at a perfect time. I fear relying on my parter and letting him be my saviour. That’s a massive burden to put on someone. I want to heal, not keep shoving it all down and hoping somebody else will save me. Dependence makes me feel insecure. I’m not solving my problems, I’m letting them carry on.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/03/22 02:16 PM
16

I’ve had messages criticising everything from looks, to personality to intelligence. Then they got an award for being sad about being called ugly? Men are the ones living life on easy mode 🙄
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy26/03/22 01:42 PM

I get this reaction quite often. I’m not a WOC, but I am autistic. This is a weird question but OP, are you more attractive than the potential friend?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy25/03/22 05:23 PM

Good on you 😁 he expected you to be desperate for him! Does he know other ladies in the chat who live near you who he might pull this on?

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/03/22 06:18 PM

Met a few, can confirm. Of the top 3 worst people I ever met, 1 of them was a major pickme. She was dangerous to herself and others. The other 2 were Predatory men.

They’re the right age, the birthday sounds like a wonderful time for an engagement…I don’t get it either. It’s bad enough that she had to propose, but to turn her down as well? 😬 time to dump him.

Aren’t these the same guys who DO marry virgins or sexually repressed women, then complain that their wives aren’t sexual in their marriage?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/03/22 06:22 AM

I like this ☺️ what a respectful man! If he does like OP, then maybe they can be friends. OP, you’re also more likely to spot red flags when you get to know him
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy22/03/22 09:18 AM

You are a superior being. How the hell have you nailed it? This needs to be pinned and read by all FDS women.

They’re doing all the work while he sits and chats to the husbands.

Poor without him, sad. Where’s her family?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy20/03/22 10:46 AM

She is a pickme. Ask yourself - would you treat her this way if he preferred her? Keep distance. Be wary of your overlapping friends as anything negative about you will be used against you.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy20/03/22 10:41 AM
75

Yeah. Anytime you try and show some personality, if you’re talking to a nvm porn-fried idiot, then they will disregard your efforts and ask “ok yeah so you coming over?” 😪

I love this post! HV do this: 1) are kind but gentle in rejecting ladies, unless those ladies get too much, then they’re firm but not nasty. 2) they defend her honour 3) calls them out or does nothing engage 4) I would be okay with them at least keeping a close eye until it gets out of hand. UNLESS it’s serious/escalates

Why give out wife benefits to a scrote? Plenty of other men for her to do that for and she’d get more in return. Some men are keen to wife up a good woman! Why wait on this guy?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/03/22 10:12 AM

I had this years ago too. Ugh. They do it to all of us
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/03/22 10:05 AM

I feel like being a single mum by choice is better than anxiously and desperately seeking a man. I was watching MAFS Australia and it’s rough watching older women put up with so much LVM and NVM behaviour in hopes of avoiding single motherhood. Nah, do it anyway. Have that baby. Then look for a man when the pressure is off.

I noticed toxic men do this often. No one can criticise your opinions if they don’t hear them. This is my way of saying YES SAY NOTHING. Fight fire with fire!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/03/22 09:29 AM
31

Great. Tbh they know we could reject anything except missionary and some guys will be thrilled to even get sex. Projection
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/03/22 08:13 PM
49

I agree. There isn’t enough advice on identifying the differences and there’s too much grey area. I believe autism is 50/50 across the sexes, so men being over diagnosed makes sense. Undiagnosed autism for men = poor him Narcissism = oh crap he’s a bad person. I can see why they lie. I dated a couple of guys who claimed to be AS like me, but their behaviours lined up more with personality disorders.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/03/22 09:21 PM
142

Autistic woman here. Can confirm. Autistic men are allowed to get away with EVERYTHING, but of course, when it comes to dating, they become resentful because they don’t have easy access to women. Dating is one of the areas where people are fussy, so the dating world for them is a truer reflection of how others feel about them, rather than their less intense social environments. (For example, family pander to the autistic man).
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/03/22 09:13 PM

Avoid trauma conversations. If a guy has to bring it up within the 1st 2 dates, 🚩 We don’t want to get attached for the wrong reasons.

Find her and tell her to ditch him. He’s a gold digger.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/03/22 10:50 PM
15

They will still spin the story to make the woman sound like the desperate one. Yes, the “blocking” a space is EXACTLY one of the biggest problems of FWB. Even if women think they’re open to a new man during this stage, I’ve seen them behave as if the fwb was a bf, and rejecting other opportunities because they were sure he was going to make them their gf any minute now…😕 You’re right that it’s a reflection of low self esteem, which predators will exploit.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/03/22 08:12 PM
15

Uh oh 🚩 no friends? I wonder if the wedding was abroad to avoid inviting his female “friends” to it? 🤔
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/03/22 11:57 AM

Surely it starts out as you wielding the power, but soon he’ll flip it around on you.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/03/22 09:31 AM

Thank goodness you’re not the wife. Does she know you existed? He’s crossed the line and cheated when they were barely together.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/03/22 09:30 AM
120

She’s an unpleasant person. She has no right to say that to you. Being approachable isn’t as good a quality as everyone makes it out to be - it means LVM feel comfortable to approach.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy06/03/22 12:39 PM
74

Shame when they sometimes have reasonable and well-thought out views on other aspects, then somehow BAM! backwards ideas appear.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy06/03/22 11:06 AM

Was he the kind of guy on the outside of your friendship group that you only spoke to casually at parties? Sometimes I’ll think a guy is okay and then find out he isn’t after 3 proper conversations.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy06/03/22 10:14 AM

He got ugly and thought you’d take him back. 😒 I once dated a guy who aged within the 6 months of us dating. His looks fell off of a cliff. Yes, he smoked, drank and ate the worst diet ever. How do these guys look so bad in so short a space of time? This is a serious question!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/03/22 07:22 AM
121

I have high cholesterol so oh crap he can date me 😅😅 Seriously, these old guys are such losers. If you wanted a young woman so badly, you should’ve chosen one in your 20s and grown old with her. Take good care of a woman and she won’t look bad as she ages. What’s with their fear of us getting old and ugly? We could age like fine Wine.

I think about this too - the past addicts I can think of - same job for years, in debt, no mention of trying to achieve more at work etc. Such a shame. Does anyone else wonder to themselves if they’d be more successful if they’d been a man?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy02/03/22 07:50 PM

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/02/22 09:11 AM

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/02/22 09:04 AM

I know from having one or two scummy friends in the past. You are looked at in a different light and not spoken to. Others won’t give us much chance. I’m glad to see your bf was repulsed.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/02/22 09:02 AM

The thing I notice is if others know your friends will date a taken man, they assume the same of you 😓
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy27/02/22 06:11 PM

The thing behind being a pickme is that we had good hearts and were exploited. An LVM is not. He has bad intentions.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy27/02/22 01:02 PM

His post reads as “would like to meet low maintenance, desperate woman. Prove yourself to me.” I wish more people noticed how often men do this - telling women to compete when there’s no prize on offer.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy27/02/22 06:11 AM
2

“Insecure shitbags”. Yep. If a guy has had exes, I don’t have an issue with it but you wouldn’t believe the amount of men who are jealous if you so much as whisper an ex’s name 🙄 I only get bothered in a reasonable way if hey mention them all the time or have unfinished business. With the bad men, it’ll be obvious. They won’t shut up about it.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy27/02/22 06:04 AM
37

I have seen popular women with lots of guy “friends”. Every time, she turned out to be popular for a different reason… I have no male friends and I don’t care if I don’t have any. I’d be okay with a gay friend, or bi or as part of a couple, but I am always wary of single men trying to make friends with me. Every single time they made it obvious that they were interested in me.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy27/02/22 05:53 AM

The only good sign would be if he’s an introvert and has interests that occupy him. Reading? Handy skills? Sports? If he’s got no hobbies AND no friends, then I’d be worried. I’d like to know what he does in his free time before I decide, but it is a bad sign so far.

She sees him alone? Sus. Dump him.

Well done 👏🏻 it’s so easy to carry on and let this destroy you. Nope, he destroyed himself, no going down with this ship!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/02/22 09:37 PM
68

Agreed. This is handbook worthy. How do you ladies know EXACTLY how these men think?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/02/22 08:22 PM

I prefer social games. I wish the sims was multiplayer
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/02/22 12:19 PM

Yeah I’d love it to be that the guys are all setting up flowers, candles and making her dinner but for some reason that’s not what I picture…
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/02/22 12:09 PM
16

Wow her friend sounds like my acquaintance. Remember: men love bitches. Not because they are actual bitches, but because they expect effort.

I’m reading “You” atm and the narrator sees Beck not wearing a bra as flirting, attention-seeking and and invitation. We can’t help that this is what they see.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/02/22 12:01 PM
28

I hate when people judge a woman for being brainwashed by society and everyone that if you knew each other before, it was consensual. If she called it out at the time, she would be a SlUT
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/02/22 11:53 AM
18

Can we please save this babe?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/02/22 11:50 AM

That or he’s so untouchable that he gets no one (I’ve known a handful of guys irl who have 0-3 matches)
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/02/22 11:46 AM

You may not know if it’s via OLD. Once again, a point for vetting thoroughly or not meeting online.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/02/22 11:41 AM
33

I see this a lot. Men and omg the pickmes especially.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/02/22 11:36 AM
37

I’d be like, can I quiz you on your knowledge? Oh wait, you don’t have any 😏
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/02/22 11:32 AM
153

I get this attitude from men a lot. I went to a top uni, and the response is always that I’m confused and that I must’ve gone to the lower uni of a similar name 😐 These are the same guys who wonder why they can’t get women. Maybe I was too stupid to realise I was lucky enough to have a shot with him? 🙃
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/02/22 11:31 AM
78

This should be a main post and aimed at lurkers everywhere. My degree wasn’t handed to me, I’m small because I diet pretty much all the time, I’m kind to men out of fear that they might turn on me etc
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/02/22 11:27 AM
41

Is he part of the Human League?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/02/22 11:21 AM

I will type so fast that I look manic while promising to not be nuts. Okay mate 😐 then you want to reach out to new random women to be your replacement gf?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/02/22 11:20 AM

Neverending “on hold” is the biggest frustration!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/02/22 11:14 AM
6

It reflects badly on her that he wants a refund for a service he got? Hell nah
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/02/22 12:29 PM
44

This is fair. We can all take a while to find a good partner, but statistically, you’ve met so many people by the time you’re 40, one’s bound to be good!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/02/22 12:26 PM

Sitting outside? That’s so trailer trash

What were those doubts?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/02/22 06:24 AM

This is the way! It’s any excuse to message you and ruin your life. It’s not about the money.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/02/22 06:19 AM

Wow he sees the people pleasing tendencies and hopes to push your boundaries so much that he may gain sex. Nah.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/02/22 06:17 AM
8

I want you to have sex with me when I put in so much effort to copy and paste a message to you. It really do be like this 😐
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/02/22 06:15 AM
8

Same. All the crappy leftovers used the other apps. experience
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/02/22 06:13 AM

Vetting is easy. Executing it is to accept the disappointment of realising at least 90% of people throw 5 red flags at you in one conversation.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/02/22 06:04 AM
27

Can she hang up? Not surprised that men expect sex work for free.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/02/22 06:00 AM
11

If I learned this as young as 14, I could’ve avoided a LOT of bad people.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/02/22 09:35 AM

Both men confused me. Guy 1 made no sense and guy 2 looked like he was too lazy to have a normal exchange.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/02/22 09:31 AM
12

Ethically, as long as you aren’t having sex with anyone, then it’s fine. Look out for the red flag of this guy - if he pushes you for sex but doesn’t offer commitment, cut him off.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/02/22 09:29 AM

Technically we’re fertile almost all the time. There’s only 3/4 days where it’s really low and even then, the chance isn’t zero. Does this poster think we never use condoms?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/02/22 09:14 AM
12

Alexa Chung and her partner look great together.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/02/22 09:08 AM
53

Don’t worry, that post was fake as stated by the top commenter. The dude wanted attention.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/02/22 09:06 AM
66

This. The amount of brainwashing everyday to accept the ugly guy or the “loser” is intense, however, I rarely see the reverse in media. When it is reversed, like in Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging, it’s only aimed at women.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/02/22 09:05 AM
103

Loud music and get drunk? Didn’t know we were 15.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/02/22 08:57 AM
69

A workout isn’t a date 😬 I hate working out, I don’t want a guy judging my body and my form simultaneously. I can imagine the meathead suggesting this date to sexualise me the whole time.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/02/22 08:56 AM
75

Don’t see men being asked to be kind.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/02/22 08:55 AM
4

So no one berates the date for being disrespectful and cheap?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/02/22 10:44 PM
37

It’s depressing for the guy who acts like this. It’s great for us to see and walk away from.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/02/22 03:28 PM
13

So he wondered if you were a man? He is beyond repair.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/02/22 09:36 AM
27

I never believed in getting with an ex’s friend for revenge. 1) they might be drinking buddies rather than real friends 2) I definitely don’t like the friends - I have some taste. 3) women are always judged for sleeping around (or not!) I’d rather be judged as prudish than slutty. 4) every woman I saw do this had and still has low self-esteem. They felt better for 2ish days and then the cycle resumed.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/02/22 09:34 AM
19

Wow they’re incestuous. What if she isn’t “clean” from the guy’s juices when she moves onto guy 2? 😅
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/02/22 09:31 AM
18

Yeah this is a good idea. If he says “next time when we cook together…” etc he might fall into a lazy pattern of using them as replacement dates.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/02/22 09:26 AM
2

Lol all mine were red pill one way or another - or your typical LVM using red pill tactics!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/02/22 09:21 AM

Tall women have no idea how many men they automatically weed out just by being tall. Being small doesn’t mean I win, it means I’m more likely to lose.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy02/02/22 03:10 PM
114

Her planet didn’t seem to matter much 😅 she can have a new one? 🤷‍♀️
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy02/02/22 03:07 PM
22

On rare occasion, I haven’t been someone’s type. It’s always the non-ugly ones and never the guys who are your type! It’d be nice if the ones I didn’t like we’re into me 😝 If any woman acts desperate enough, we are suddenly in their league but for the wrong reasons 😳
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/02/22 07:53 PM
126

They usually aren’t chasing you because they’re taken - even if they don’t have a gf, they might have a complicated FWB situation you don’t want to be involved with.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/02/22 04:14 PM
6

🥲 you’re a great person and you’ve made me cry ❤️‍🩹💗💖
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/02/22 03:26 PM
22

There is. You can go in delicately with lubricant, use your fingers and other small tools. If not, c-section. If it seems barbaric, it probably is.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/02/22 03:23 PM
16

Brilliant. My dad watches it the whole way home 🤣 he gets scared every time the news mentions a taxi driver who’s raped someone and so I learned the “refuse to sit in the front” too from him. One cab driver even asked me to sit in the front after I kissed my bf and left to go home. Dirty predator.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/02/22 03:22 PM
12

He’s the kind of guy who would also make women travel to another country to get an abortion because he refuses to do so.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/02/22 10:25 AM
40

Agreed! I love pole dancing! It’s so impressive 😍
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/02/22 10:21 AM
149

Yeah wtf is this entitlement? 😤 you wouldn’t do up to a bartender and complain they won’t give you food when they only serve drinks!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/02/22 10:20 AM
47

We already think decent men don’t go to bars or clubs. This is true on average, so you can bet the situation is worse in a strip club.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/02/22 10:17 AM
31

I’d sue! 😡 can’t they unwrap the baby but not pull it out! If they can’t unwrap baby, then they should do a C-section. You don’t f up the mum to get the baby out!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/02/22 10:15 AM
20

I worry about my teeth. I already have naturally bad teeth so I feel that the strain of pregnancy could make it worse.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/02/22 10:14 AM
52

I’m certainly not having 6. I see why a lot of women have 2/3. I’m not sure I can handle raising them and realistically, as a woman we’re all expected to raise them singlehanded while the men circulate in the background.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/02/22 10:09 AM
62

This is a massive red flag 🚩 if a man you meet does this, DROP HIM. I know from experience. There’s nothing sexier than a man being respectful and letting me start the flirting 😚
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/02/22 09:50 AM
50

I knew he was low value when he and Mariah divorced.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/02/22 09:48 AM
5

THIS!! I do the tiniest thing wrong, they’re on me. A guy makes lots of intentional disrespectful moves, excuses and allowances all around 😐
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy31/01/22 10:57 PM
14

They also won’t do the same for you and will fire shots when you’re hurting.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy31/01/22 10:56 PM
7

Wow, were you out watching me and the pickme acquaintance I was out with the other night? She would definitely have put me in danger given the choice!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy31/01/22 10:52 PM
7

Your “vibe”? That’s when I got the ick. He was definitely after something casual.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy31/01/22 10:48 PM
12

Same. I’m enjoying how they reveal themselves so early. Sadly, I’m getting tired of meeting them.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy31/01/22 10:44 PM
104

Selfishness? Projecting again
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy31/01/22 10:40 PM
57

I literally met a random old dude last week who tried to figure out where I lived. I named my town and he still was like, yeah but which road? The other men around us didn’t react with alarm bells. I played the DUMB FOX role like hehehe I forgot 😇😇
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy31/01/22 10:36 PM
90

I don’t trust Uber drivers. I share my trip with others who will watch it and I also always sit in the back seat.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy31/01/22 10:33 PM
49

I hadn’t considered that. Any man I’ve ever seen that has been utter trash and they’re usually alcoholics. This is a vetting tool in itself - if you’re with people who don’t react to weeing in the street, that’s a bad sign.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy31/01/22 10:32 PM
22

I find this part of life a minefield too! I’d love to know what the other ladies have to say. I think for me, I’ll point out that I’m autistic so it’s unfair to exploit my eagerness to please by taking my ideas, although that still sounds terrible! 😅
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy31/01/22 10:30 PM
55

Women these days are being too easy to get. Lazy men will chase them, so we’ll weed them out easily enough! We’ve been brainwashed to make it easy for guys to approach us, when in actuality, being less approachable is the best method.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy31/01/22 08:38 PM
33

“I am your age, you know!”
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy31/01/22 03:20 PM
110

If I see a man old man hanging around young women, I think he’s pathetic. I don’t judge the women or think less of them because they tend not to want them around. (Myself included). When I was a pickme, long before FDS existed, it affected my self esteem if no nice men or even half decent at best ones were interested. I thought it was a reflection of my character, but it isn’t. Realistically, no one was any good, so I wouldn’t have been able to find someone good even if I was my best self. Worst…
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy31/01/22 03:17 PM
26

I got mega anxious when a guy did this weeks ago. I opened the window to talk to him. He was going around asking about a neighbour’s car.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy31/01/22 03:13 PM
3

What a shame. At least you had some good times. Found any decent men yet?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy31/01/22 12:22 AM
87

I love that instead of doing the usual “I guess I owe him so let’s do it” trap we all are shoved into, you listened to your intuition and cut it off! 👏🏻 You’ll forever be the one who got away for him, and as for you, this will give you so much power waking into all future interactions with men. You hold the power.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy31/01/22 12:18 AM
54

I watched and read Streetcar. Blanche was a prostitute who ends up living with her sister, whose husband rapes her. This is the reality.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy30/01/22 11:08 AM
16

Where is he now?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy30/01/22 11:02 AM
28

I have an expressive face too. You can always ignore someone who comments on your expression or tell them they’ve misread you.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy30/01/22 10:58 AM
35

This is endemic. I rarely see a couple where he keeps trying and doesn’t become apathetic. My bf’s not become like this and it shouldn’t better a pleasant surprise or a relief, but it seems his attitude is the exception, not the norm.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy30/01/22 09:23 AM
7

Ooo well you could always neg back 😏 oh, you’ve been gymming? I couldn’t tell 😈
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy29/01/22 10:43 PM
12

This. Dude isn’t going to pay, change tires or do housework. He’d make her do the housework anyway.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/01/22 07:47 AM
7

What a dirtbag! 😤😡 if a woman did this in our patriarchal society, everyone would say how embarrassing it was that she tried that! She must not want to impress! I wish your mum had been firm and told you to dump him. When we’re beaten down, it’s up to others to protect us, alas, they don’t.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/01/22 07:46 AM
57

Let me quiz you on respect, boy 💅🏻
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/01/22 07:41 AM
121

Why would you? He wouldn’t take a single neg from you!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/01/22 07:39 AM
10

I can guarantee you’re guaranteed to get nothing when I block and delete your ass 🤣 You did the right thing. Annoyingly, his friends will be so supportive because he hasn’t told them the truth. It’ll be something like oh she’s ungrateful for not liking what I gave her. He is too lazy. If he wanted to, he would’ve figured out to get you a non-food gift.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/01/22 07:30 AM
32

That’s the kind of guy who withdraws all gentlemanly actions down the line. Good on you!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy27/01/22 09:51 AM
127

I feel like he lives life on easy mode. All he needs is a decent job and he could get a gf so easily…yet, he’s too damn greedy to want more options. It sounds like he was a bare minimum guy who did slightly more than the NVM. Tell us - if you were to write a paragraph about how you were in the relationship towards him, how much more would you be able to write?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy27/01/22 09:47 AM
24

Defo. I also notice how they give me special treatment (acting like a gentleman) but then don’t extend that same favour to unattractive women. Which do you think it is - that they think I won’t notice or that they think I do and love the preferential treatment? Screams LVM posing HVM to me.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/01/22 04:57 PM
8

Ooo I should look for women-only. That seems SO much more appealing 😃
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/01/22 04:55 PM
1

Fair enough! Yeah I met 6/7 f boys in a row and at that point, I was already burned out from meeting loser after loser. I kept hoping and waiting to meet just one HVM. I assumed it would happen.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/01/22 04:54 PM
16

As far as I’m aware, no they haven’t woken up. No one helped me all the times I needed it, and most of the time, I am still meeting NVM and LVW and I’m getting tired. FDS shows me that so many others really are not right, and I was gaslit all these years.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/01/22 01:26 PM
21

Blockedy block 😉 Not had someone behave this nuts, but you could always publicly name and shame them.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy23/01/22 06:36 PM
97

They’ve had a dead bedroom for a long time. He loves the pocket puss-y and porn, so his wife thought, well a sex toy for me sounds fair. Could be worse - she could’ve cheated.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy23/01/22 06:34 PM
42

Well done 👏🏻 I never met any good men at uni. Too many f boys and cheaters. Why did you break up with those guys? You’re right. I dated down. Never again. They resent you everyday and they let you know it!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy23/01/22 12:00 PM
68

His wife is amazing. What the hell is he doing?!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy23/01/22 10:52 AM
120

You’re echoing the words of my dad. Basically any woman, especially an attractive young woman, has so many options, why would she date the losers? 😌 I made allowances and dated down. The stupid times I dated the two or three much older men, they were bigger losers than guys my own age 😑 if someone were to give this man the right advice, it would be save up the money and show that woman that you are worthy and deserving because girl has got it!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy23/01/22 10:50 AM
3

How old is this? So wrong that it’s only 3 years. I’d toss this bullshit in the bin
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy23/01/22 10:48 AM
33

Block him anyway. If he comes to your house, take a picture of him or video the date etc to prove he’s a stalker. Men hate being publicly named and shamed.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy23/01/22 10:38 AM
231

The men I’ve met who said this, expected compliments from me because they had showered me with them. Of course, it was from ugly, inappropriately older men with low self-esteem who wanted to flirt with me 😐 I think these complaints are a lie and it’s just manipulation to get you to be nice to them.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy23/01/22 10:30 AM
43

I met a guy like this. Started wanking himself off like an monkey. I left.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy23/01/22 10:14 AM
15

My mum’s ex husband said he wanted kids. When they were married and she got pregnant, he dragged her to the abortion clinic and tried to force her. Don’t let this be you. P.S. no abortions were to be had because my mum was like no F****** way, you wanted one, you ain’t allowed to change your mind now.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy23/01/22 10:12 AM
398

If she’s not happy with his finances, that means he’s telling us only half of the story. It means she comes from money or has more than him. Bad men and their bad advice. A 24/25 year old could still want the same things. Dating younger isn’t the answer, growing up is!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy23/01/22 10:08 AM
38

I’m the same! 🙌🏻 if you take it and I’m angry, I want it back!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy22/01/22 06:37 PM
68

Men fancy her even now! 😄 so you bet she had options back then. Even the comments approve 💁🏼‍♀️
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy21/01/22 08:08 PM
472

They say WE want free meals #projection
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy21/01/22 06:57 PM
24

That’s weird. It’s not up to her to suggest it! I met a girl a few months ago in a bar and she told me openly how she was bisexual and she would totally do me and my boyfriend…I didn’t offer…
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy21/01/22 10:50 AM
33

Wow. If I’m the first to be assaulted, I am NOT being quiet about it!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy21/01/22 10:49 AM
52

She texts like she’s on spring break.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy21/01/22 10:48 AM
51

Wtf. If your boyfriend fancies your friend, you dump the boyfriend, not the friend!!! It’s a sign that he intends to cheat the second he finds ANY woman attractive. You must’ve been SO frustrated. I’d explain this to her a give her one last chance. I get attached to people easily, so if I loved her bf he came along, I’d still love her after.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy21/01/22 10:45 AM
32

I loved the show and what’s interesting is how when I watched it as a child, I found Steve charming and kind but a bit goofy and useless. (Learned helplessness is cute huh 😑) Didn’t he run at a bar at some point? I’ve missed a couple episodes but I’ve only seen him sit around so far. Now when I watch it, I’m like the sex thing is a problem AGAIN?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy21/01/22 10:41 AM
94

I want links and a post on this! How do you damage a robot beyond repair? How do you damage it so badly that if it were a woman, it’d be dead? Suggests men at brothels are holding back 😅😬
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy21/01/22 10:39 AM
17

I don’t know how you even manage to stand them at this point. I wouldn’t watch their tik-tok‘s and if this is how they also based in person than they are SO low value 😬 The healthiest way is the slow fade. You and the bf gotta get out more and make new friends. Me and my bf are trying to do the same thing. It’s not the easiest as he tends to work when social events are on, but when we meet someone who throws red flags (usually the women at me), we withdraw.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy21/01/22 10:33 AM
39

These two have a lot of sexual chemistry, but I bet their emotional connection is lacking.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy20/01/22 10:05 AM
106

10 months? If it isn’t serious long before then, I’m out. P.S. I’m too sexual to wait that long. If I sense something’s off and there’s no commitment, you bet I’m out!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/01/22 02:10 AM
55

I knew a guy who tried it on with me after he and his gf loved in. I told other people about this and instead of seeing her ugly man for what he was, she watched me like a hawk. They’re married now 😐
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/01/22 10:18 AM
6

😞 I know it seems like the good ones are taken, but taking them for yourself doesn’t make them good 😅 how’s your dating life? Hoping it’s better than your friends’s!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/01/22 10:09 AM
181

Damn I hate how so many people have immediate red flags, but I LOVE how your friend admitted her mistake. That’s a green flag ☺️
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy17/01/22 02:55 PM

I once nexted a guy online because he said he was 5”5. Every guy, especially short ones, will add AT LEAST 2 inches to their real height. I found one guy was even 4 inches shorter in person, yuck!

The only time I ask others to deal with appointments for me is because I’m afraid of the backlash from cancelling and fear the interaction over the phone. Still, I do most of it myself. I agree with your point and think it deserves to be read by every FDS poster. I had an ex like this. I get responsible for his well-being but really he pushed responsibility for his mental state into me.

1) Melissa and Brice. He is a terrible person and she’s desperate. 2) Sam and Cam. He is a misogynist. She is a GREAT person with impeccable morals. 3) Jason and I can’t recall her name. Yeah I don’t understand - if I met a 35 year old party boy, you can GUARANTEE I’d vet him extensively and probably still break up with him anyway because as we’ve all seen ladies, a good man can find a good woman easily. If he’s been single for a long time, it’s usually a bad sign.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy10/01/22 07:10 PM

To add to that, old guys definitely prey on younger women. At 22, I would’ve let the 40+ creep stand next to me and talk to him out of politeness. Now, I’m like I don’t know you, what do you want?

So true 🙄 I considered a septoplasty a long time ago because breathing is hard for me, but I find neti pots and having clean air seems to cure half of the problem. I would only do it as a last resort, but it feels like the media encourages us to have surgery as a first resort.

💔 the worst part of slut shaming is that women were pressured into “sluttiness” because of trauma or abuse, whereas men are slutty and do NOT get shamed for it as they are the abusive ones and are somehow celebrated for it. We are also told lies like you won’t get any attention (except popular or beautiful girls) unless you have sex. You mean nothing.

I have a similar issue, but I’m 27. 1) Block scrotes the second you identify them. This will ease some stress. 2) do you enjoy running or are you forcing yourself to do it? It’s hard to workout if you don’t like it. 3) do you think therapy is helping? I’ll try again. Last time I did, it drained me so much that I couldn’t force myself out of the house. It’s refreshing to see someone WITHOUT plastic surgery. Her nose is a symbol of her ancestry, and keeping it as is honours her family. If she decides she wants to change it, no one should be trying to influence her decision. I personally would only want one for health reasons, and even then, congestion can be helped by neti pots. P.S. I have been told a few men my family know have had nose jobs to aid their deviated septums. It hasn’t eased their symptoms and the surgeons haven’t perfected it…

Are you the last single woman in your friendship group? I wonder this because you like taken guys. I think no one’s responded yet as it looks like you’ve tried what you can. Sometimes a good man doesn’t appear, but in my country everyone has covid so he might be hiding away atm!

I had this problem with guys too. I dated a few who got bored with me quickly, without putting much time or getting to know me. Then when I met my bf, I worried he’d get bored so tried hard to keep him interested. He doesn’t get bored of me, which took a few months to get adjusted to. It’s nice not to have to prove yourself constantly x

Your writing is more polite than mine! I see nothing wrong with telling them that men are discouraged from female sexualised outfits because men don’t want to see other men in a sexual way. #homophobes

Which could be better spent on employment or friendship! I wasted a lot of time on different apps and sites. It’s easy and tempting because you are getting some social time and attention BUT if you were to waste a lot of energy on the apps at the cost of other things, you may look back and remember a vague void of empty dates, instead of having a period of time where you improved your life, OP.

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy27/12/21 10:17 PM

I think the timeline from dating to commitment is good BUT if he doesn’t want a family until 35, that’s 8 YEARS, of which you might end up being a forever gf. It’s time to pin him down. A proposal after graduation? After he gets a job? You need a goal date or time so you know when to walk if he doesn’t stick by it.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy27/12/21 04:28 PM
25

That’s also the sign of a woman who knows she has options. I think the male tantrum is due to freaking out that they won’t get another chance in the future.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy27/12/21 11:12 AM

Then tell her it’s her fault that he was pushed into it
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy27/12/21 11:05 AM

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy27/12/21 11:00 AM

It’s so weird. It’s his idea and he has a new woman, why the 180? Did she dump him? 🤔 But yeah when you tell everyone he criticised how I did dishes, they’ll think you’re overreacting, but they haven’t seen how you seem to do everything wrong.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/12/21 05:32 PM

Definitely. I would strongly advise against it!

You are amazing! You’re a leader! Well done for being the strong, independent woman of the group by calling it out and helping other women to leave. Those who knew, are evil. You’re correct. Also - women never beg to join a male-only group - if anything, if I see a pub full of men, I steer clear. I would NEVER trust a man who infiltrates a woman-only group.

He should always pay. I say SHOULD because few men do. The bar is so low that guys get upset paying for the first date. How did he feel about paying on the first date? Was it his idea? The worst sign is if he starts saying you owe him or it’s your turn to pay. That’s controlling behaviour.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/12/21 11:02 AM

I play games and waste more time because without the emotional support, I lose motivation and become too sad to pursue my projects. I have become higher value in terms of telling myself I’m actually attractive and young so I hold some power, rather than the past, where I thought I had to try and that my natural look wasn’t enoug…

The fact that he didn’t find you a job and comes and goes makes me think he’s not that interested. I’m wondering if after dinner, he’ll expect you to pay since you’ve got a new job. Agreed! I had a friend say this to me but tbh it was because she wanted me to help her find guys for sex in bars BUT every single single woman I’ve known has something about her. Single men - intolerable. Taken men - lovely. You know how they say the good ones are taken? They are.

1) addicted to Reddit 2) change of behaviour - avoidant. Usually a sign of cheating when a partner picks at everything. 3) he’s withdrawn and acting single already. Emotionally checked out. 4) confirmation of cheating - you have a non-committal player. Official dumping time. 5) stalking and abusive behaviour. Watch him tell the other woman that’s he’s the one who dumped his gf 🙄 police time! 6) blames her 7) didn’t comfort her when she had an abortion. Wow. I would’ve left him then, months prior…

It stinks of “pickme cool girl” who only sees women as drama-fuelled. I like talking to other women about real conversations - most recently, mental health, bills and animals.

What’s this test? I’ve heard about making up a false trauma and seeing if they use it against you.

I’m confused. You were sure but then he pleasantly surprised you? I’m curious because it’s easy to dump an obvious LVM, but it’s much scarier to consider the long term of a serious relationship. I’m coming up to an important phase of my life where I’m considering the impact of a real commitment.

Her mum was a terrible pickme who dumped her twin sisters on her 24/7 to run off with any random man on dates whenever she felt like it. She herself wasn’t a good person either. She even catfished other women pretending to be men. I was glad that friends-by-association ended the second I left school.

I once had a friend at school who kept befriending fb guys whose profiles even linked their gfs and she was adamant that each guy was single. Worst part? Their gfs were lovely, and this “friend” of mine was a bottom-barrel teen who failed all of her GCSES.

“Behind every great man, is an even greater woman.” Sometimes you meet people who claim the man is better than the woman. Don’t believe it. She will always be helping him behind the scenes to reach his full potential.

One of my exes claimed every girl before me had dumped him for pity. Not true. He treated them like cr*p, performed the slow fade and waited until they dumped him.

This explains a lot of the women I met when I tried different working environments. I sensed they weren’t happy in their personal lives and if they spoke about their partners (which they rarely did) it was usually to convey that they were a little unhappy, but to be so subtle that you couldn’t quite say anything.

Even in you’re beautiful, he’ll think you’re emotionally or mentally unstable. It’s hard to shake those labels once a man has decided as such in his head. Also - my brothers have even rejected the women who have approached them. Men are more traditional than they say.

I think if you like him as a friend, shut him down. Imagine if you go on a “pity date” and then reject him after? Friendship over. Friendships are beautiful and if you connect well, he might be confusing friendship love for romance. Also - if you’re friends with the popular guy, you have more chance of meeting a better man in the future. Play the long game.

This year? Dating wise, I’ve only been with my bf all this time. (Thank F for that.) If I could redo the year or change anything? I certainly wouldn’t have tried certain antidepressants, and I definitely would’ve moved out of my parents’ place much sooner. I wouldn’t have tried to be nice to a couple of LVM incels that my friends insisting on including in on everything. One desperately chased all the women and the other insulted me. They’re long gone as we wanted 🙏🏻

They definitely aren’t! They come across as cowardly and insecure. The amount of OLD guys who have anxiety or fear you getting “upset” when you aren’t even bothered…damn. You’re right. Did we have the same pickme friend/s? 😅 I had one who said we were best friends, but left me in the club when she found a LVM to get with that night. I have been matching friendship energies since that friend break up in lockdown. I kept reaching out to her, and wondering why she didn’t see talkative. Guess what? She’d been talking to a Scrote who didn’t even care about her feelings every day, while only sporadically responding when I asked if she wanted to video call.

I have met one good new friend on bumble BFF so far, which percentage wise, means I have a much better success rate compared to when I was a single woman looking for men on tinder! 😄 I have tried the in real life part. So far, everyone was either drunk off their faces or super awkward and couldn’t even try to formulate a sentence. I had one person agree to hit the gym with me, then stood me up and rambled on about her baby daddy and some crazy stuff like that. So the world is quite a mixed bag! …

Why not tell him you like him but need a break for a while because you haven’t recovered from your last relationship? It can be a nice breakup but only temporary so that he knows you still like him. If he wants you, he’ll be okay with it, if he doesn’t wait or gets upset, then you’ve found a LVM.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/12/21 06:13 PM

It is a fallacy that only ugly men abuse women. Handsome guys so it too because they think they deserve everyone and can’t believe that you would say no. I don’t doubt if a man tries to assault one woman, he will do it to another.

I have tried coffee dates. Every single guy who did coffee dates as a first date never raised the bar. After that, it was offers of coming to their place or meeting in a bar when they happened to be out. 😐 Isn’t it funny that these same men complain that women are gold diggers for wanting a real date and then passive-aggressively ask why you haven’t slept with them yet?

The point about dogs!! Everyone has more compassion for dogs than they do for women 😓 I’m a white woman, but the amount of skin bleaching and light skinned black ladies I see in the media has a brain washing effect. I don’t see what you’ve done wrong. You’ve done what we have all been socially conditioned to do - make allowances for poor behaviour - but you as individual? I don’t see an issue. Wanting your partner to show an interest in you is a good thing, and if you swapped him o it for someone better, then it would be a great partnership. You’ve analysed the behaviour well. The only thing you need to look out for going forward is more of the same LVMs. I find covert LVM hard to detect, but the great thin…

OP defo was, especially if she was paying half for the take out HE wanted! I’ve tended to find 50/50 to mean he pays for himself and then expects you to pay for yourself too, which would be fine if I could keep costs low, but in the past found most guys would encourage you to go out and then be upset if you didn’t pay for yourself. When I was 17, one ex-Scrote took me around the shops and made it out to be a big deal when I bought myself some nice things. He made it sound like he’d done me a big…

I’m an INTJ too. Yeah, I have gone into job interviews wanting to help, make a difference and contribute to the world, not to bend over backwards only to be shunned because I didn’t tick a ridiculous social box of kissing butt enough 😕

He pulled out the stops on date 1 and to him, he thought that counts as investing enough for sex. The bar is low 😐

I’m autistic and yet I can make better conversation than half of the neurotypical people I know. I think a lot of people just cannot converse any more. I find conversations hard with both sexes, but when I meet someone who is socially capable, the conversation never dies or falls flat. Don’t even get me started on people who haven’t mastered comfortable silences!

I know a few men who don’t mind what age the woman is at long as she’s up for it. That tells you - we don’t need to trick any man of any age to get with us. They ALWAYS have to trick us. We do care about age.

The thing that sticks with me is how the kid could’ve helped her but didn’t. I don’t balm him though from how he saw the world, but it’s easy to see Joe as a hero because as a child, you’re told of someone protects you, they are a hero and others are bad guys. As for feminism, yeah, Beck loved the male attention. She needed to guard herself and stay private. If she’d have had curtains, Joe wouldn’t have had as much entertainment. Wow 👏🏻 yeah, others will guilt trip you for leaving a “perfectly good” guy, but that’s not up to your standards. I planned dates and a cheap holiday with my ex years ago, and I got tired of doing the work too. There is nothing wrong with saying to yourself that you can do better, and FDS encourages us to listen to those feelings, instead of society which tells to take what we can get.

If it’s too hard to choose to be high value, you aren’t LV, you’re a work in progress. But a man who gives up but can cope and be high value? Likely low value all along. Having hardships doesn’t excuse cheating 20 years down the line. It means they didn’t have the strength of character all along. It’s easy to be high value if all is going well, you have no hardships or disabilities holding you back, but if it hits, we’re meant to excuse any sudden low value behaviour? Hell no! My strategy is go by how I feel. If I’m tired or short on time, fine, brushed hair and casual clothes will do. If I feel up to making the effort, or it’s a nice out or I want to impress a friend, then I try! I’ve started meeting girls through bumble BFF and somehow I’m more keen to be pretty on my friend dates on average than I ever was on first dates! Thank you for this post! It’s so relevant to me. I’m quite lonely right now and even if you have a partner, it’s okay to also crave girl friends. I want to do cute girlie activities too! But I’m also socially awkward (autism) so a lot of technically high value women will sense that I’m “odd” and dismiss me within 2-4 seconds. I find it hard but my heart is in the right place. Rejection is tough.

This is an area that I don’t worry about at all with my partner ☺️ the biggest bad sign is when you date someone and they NEVER talk about family. Lots of guys literally act like they don’t have one, just friends.

Wow. This explains a guy I dated last summer. I did some stalking. My God we were the same type and both loved dogs 😅😅 I thought she looked like a lovely woman and felt that he was mentally trying to replace her. It explained the dead eyes.

I agree. I want to see more positive content, from HVM to making new HVF friends, to dating when you’re not sure if someone is HV or not. Whereas complaining about obvious LVM is no longer required. Once ladies have read the handbook, we get the basics - an imbalanced relationship full of disrespect and the man being cheap = dump him. I think most women in the sub are aware of red flags now - in fact, I’ve seen one glaring one with a neighbour today.

You can still go to university and achieve your dreams. Don’t walk around with the “used sex addict” label, walk around with a “new and improved” label! Act like a top woman, and you’re more likely to be one. 21 is young. You can go into education and follow a more traditional lifestyle now. If a good man comes, great, and if he doesn’t, then also great. You’re absolutely right about male validation. Women don’t like men who dismiss rape 😐 it’s not a surprise that thankfully others here see the flaws in this argument. I’ve never heard a woman say what about rape when men talk about suicide. If anything, IRL, I have only ever experienced men interrupt women to say “not all men” and as for suicide, men only bring it up when women started it

Lol what if you marry Andy and it’s an upgrade? 😱
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy25/09/21 09:46 PM

A random left shoe? Is that to mess with with them? 😂
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy25/09/21 09:44 PM

I like that he didn’t pay at first and then change his tune. It’s nice when someone is who they appeared to be 🤗
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy25/09/21 09:26 PM

When I say it, the “feminists” tell me it’s too old fashioned/archaic/sexist 🙄 I’ve noticed over the years that there was always a reason a guy didn’t ask me out, and in pickme fashion, I felt insecure and assumed it was me. From what I learned, it was actually about them
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy25/09/21 09:23 PM
86

Very few “difficult men” out there…
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy25/09/21 09:19 PM

Omg the one guy I went on a date with. Catfish are awful, but dirty shoes and bad skin 😖 hell no.

Can always get a wig and stop moaning 😛

Thank you for this post. This removes the victim blaming and puts emphasis on the fact that sometimes you get unlucky.

My mum is shocked to discover my brother doesn’t know how to clean. How?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy22/09/21 08:02 AM
15

This is the day to dump him.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy22/09/21 08:00 AM

I think this should be one of the main FDS posts. Simple, clear and highlights how you really just can be incompatible.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy22/09/21 07:55 AM
12

So they are prejudiced against women 😐 I’ve seen this firsthand. The men are allowed to do the bare minimum, but if I do more than that but fail at the tiniest thing, guess who everyone comes after?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy21/09/21 07:22 AM
9

So he doesn’t have the energy or interest to meet you, but manages to put the effort in to get a second phone? 🤔 Probably the second phone is his main phone and he already has a gf.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy21/09/21 07:21 AM
14

This is a good point. We focus on omg what if he’s bad? But with FDS, we can detect most of the losers immediately. Don’t be afraid to date, just say no to any man who suggests a walk date or going to his place.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy21/09/21 07:19 AM
74

Oh yeah the “oops wrong hole” comment. Dude you can barely get a finger in my butt so I don’t see how poking my butthole is going to be sexy to you. 😑 It’s funny how they expect the butthole to randomly widen easily like a vagina 😐
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy21/09/21 07:12 AM
32

Doesn’t want to pay for a sperm bank and probably assumes she’ll find a really hot guy to father her children. Good luck with that 😐 Or it’s a man.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy21/09/21 07:00 AM
44

He told you not to tell anyone you’re Jewish? Hell nah. As for this guy, how DARE he make fun of the Holocaust. Mass murder isn’t funny. He’s fing psychopathic!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy21/09/21 06:55 AM
13

I’d say I’ve been alright since he’s left, can we have our divorce now?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy20/09/21 07:31 AM

Swung too far the other way..she doesn’t get to cast judgment on you protecting yourself!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy20/09/21 07:11 AM

I like pictures like this. These are great and we should have them posted a lot!

Does he have Alzheimer’s? 😅
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/09/21 10:29 PM
36

And when you go through all that, you become disillusioned and think no good men exist. I think there aren’t a lot of them, but the pickmes might get the chaff while we get the wheat.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/09/21 10:26 PM
34

That is the loveliest thing! I love how your dad protects you!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/09/21 10:25 PM

You have no idea how the power of your protection of your daughter you have 💘

I would read the compliments as the one nice bit of closure that proves to you that you are a queen and he is a pauper.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/09/21 01:55 PM

I’m INTJ too and just like this! I dislike superficial friendships and love to get to the meat of a conversation.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/09/21 01:41 PM
29

Sad but true. It’s hard to make your way in the world amongst these types 😕 I’ve encountered them all throughout whenever I’ve tried to make something of myself.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/09/21 01:39 PM

F them racists. I tend to think the most beautiful ladies are mixed race. So fascinating. Maybe it’s the jealousy that you get the attention without trying?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/09/21 12:04 PM
8

They’re weirdos. I’d at least offer you a fresh drink, maybe some fresh food. C’mon dudes out there! Whatcha doing?!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/09/21 12:01 PM
21

Men tell attractive women how we must love all the attention we get. They still treat us poorly. We are also gullible to the lies when men pick apart our looks, so we still end up with the “not good enough” issue. I dated so many guys who got bored easily, that I worried that my bf would be the same and took it on as personal. On reflection, these men were always searching for the next woman or had issues within themselves.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/09/21 07:59 AM
19

1 on 1 = must be her bf 🙄
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/09/21 07:56 AM
12

I have experienced this first hand. Thank you so much for saying it! I hate when less attractive women regard with me jealousy and then nothing special guys talk to me I end up thinking “I hope no one judges me for this guy talking to Me” because ofc to pickmes, I must want the attention, because I’m getting it without trying. 😑 I still carry on as normal and pretend not to be aware, but it’s also tiring to be spoken to almost daily, like I’m a silly barbie. Every person who treats me like this …
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/09/21 07:54 AM
45

Her outfit is stunning. I always thought she was a knock out and her husband was a munter.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/09/21 07:50 AM
38

They have no purpose. Instead of seeing it as a responsibility, they see it as an opportunity to play games. Job searching is work, rising a baby is work, but porn is easy.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/09/21 07:40 AM
6

She’s a pickme who isn’t happy with her situation, but feels she has to preach that it’s okay so no one will question her.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/09/21 07:39 AM
42

Yeah, we have to cure ourselves of the societal brainwashing to be nice all the time. It leads to having a meltdown, and forcing yourself to be nice doesn’t pay off. I was resentful when made to do things I didn’t want to and wasn’t up to doing. It still happens more often than I like!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/09/21 07:37 AM
41

What were the subtle texts?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/09/21 07:24 AM

I suspect he’s copy and pasted that to a lot of FDS women
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/09/21 07:21 AM

The guilt tripping and convincing to get back with you are familiar. They all have the same tactics. Different looks, same behaviour.

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy17/09/21 04:39 PM

My ex was useless with everything. He got his mum to get me gifts that I didn’t want and were useless!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy17/09/21 06:39 AM

Reminds me of LVM who’s outed himself recently. Long story short, everyone rejected him, so when the women complain about guys who just want hookups, he says they deliberately seek out bad men. 😐
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy16/09/21 10:23 PM
3

Where do you live? What a terrible situation. Shame you don’t have an alternative 😕 maybe try different dating sites? Which one are you on?

👏🏻 I appreciate you reading my post history! I literally thought you’d just say read the handbook 😂 Sometimes I get so preoccupied with listening and what I say, that I get overwhelmed and can’t concentrate on the whole interaction and have to think about it after the fact. I’m used to being rambled at by others because I’ve been told to let everyone else talk, but when they then finally ask me a question, I go WOAH THEY ACTUALLY ASKED ABOUT ME, and then I don’t know what to say 😂 Safety is anot…

If you have to do a pros and cons list, it means you’re unhappy. OP, it’s great to be free 😘
/r/askFDS16/09/21 02:11 PM
5

Damn the good things were SO good so I understand why you hung around! But yeah even from the 1st date, it was a no. Walk dates are a no thanks. It means you save time and heartache in the long run, once you weed out the losers. Especially if you want a family!
/r/askFDS16/09/21 02:04 PM
1

The height thing would disappoint me but the disrespect by not complimenting such a lovely lady and then insulting your bag too! That’s the final straw for me and that was only the 2nd thing! I went on lots of loads of bad dates like this too. It’s so bad when you know within the first minute that it’s a NO.
/r/askFDS16/09/21 01:59 PM
1

Thank you, this has been helpful for my question today about green flags and making new friends. OP, I’m SO the same but with friends too. I’m like, don’t be too keen and desperate but then I go the whole other way and seem off!! I can’t get it right!
/r/askFDS16/09/21 01:50 PM
3

Reporting your rape is the first step to holding the patriarchy accountable! 👏🏻 that is some major levelling up! As for these people, hmm I’d be wary at the very least. Are there others in this organisation that you can approach and befriend? It feels like they were too busy defending the one girl and her weird line crossing and not you!
/r/askFDS16/09/21 01:45 PM
2

So he has half as much difficulty in his life and has the self centred attitude to come in all off and he hasn’t bothered to fix the fire pressure before seeing you? He’s supposed to reduce the stress of your life, not add to it. This is the final straw. His loser ass is done. Be alone, maybe find someone, or better yet, maybe don’t! ✊🏻
/r/askFDS16/09/21 01:40 PM
2

Block this loser. How dare he waste your time when he’s already seeing someone!
/r/askFDS16/09/21 01:33 PM

Illegal in the U.K. I wouldn’t wait, I’d go after him
/r/askFDS16/09/21 01:31 PM

I’ve read your post history and GIRL I’d be clapping that he’s gone and shaking my head in disappointment for all the women who don’t know he’s a gold digger. I bet he mentions his Job in his profile and nothing about wanting to be a cheating, gaming stay at home dad.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy15/09/21 06:36 AM
6

Great metaphor! I like all the “why” questions too - it helps anyone who’s uncertain about the partner to make a solid decision.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy15/09/21 06:23 AM
210

I agree. Why would you disappear if you found someone amazing? You wouldn’t take the risk
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/09/21 09:31 PM
26

Yet we’re brainwashed into thinking male friends would make great bfs 😕
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/09/21 07:00 AM
11

I think it’s all dependent on location. If it’s London, shared accommodation is fine, but here, the north is much cheaper, so if I lived up there, I’d expect him to live alone.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/09/21 06:57 AM
15

Choose not to? Ah hell nah
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/09/21 06:55 AM
16

Is it a religious thing? I’m pro vaccine and if I didn’t already have one, I’d be getting it. While the man isn’t around, surely they can sneak off and get one? Or better still - cut and run!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/09/21 06:52 AM
46

Slow fade is great! Lazy “friends” don’t notice and the ones who do, who cares? 😄 I suspect my friendship group know I’m doing this but I’m sure they’ll be fine 😜 I’ll keep my favourites going forward
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/09/21 04:43 PM

Why not? 🙂 would your family help you?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/09/21 04:42 PM

I’d rather be you than her
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/09/21 02:28 PM

Wow, what’s it called when most men are beneath bare minimum? 😂 You know the bar’s been lowered when even the bare minimum would make me very happy.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/09/21 11:41 AM

He’s assuming you didn’t get laid either. You’ll be a nice lazy option for him 😒

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/09/21 07:08 AM

I like this! ☺️ if you’re writing what you don’t like, you’ve been on it too long. If you write fun, easy things, that’s more original and attractive!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/09/21 09:26 PM
14

I live in the UK so I can answer this! 😁 most of the men at festivals are low value and the kind of bottom of the barrel men you meet in bars. My personal experience is that they’re terrible. So much entitlement and unfair expectations while delivering less than bare minimum effort. Don’t even get me started on the excess weight/alcoholism etc
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/09/21 09:11 PM
22

Exactly! Every time we ate, he shovelled food down, then when he was done, stared at me in silence 😐
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/09/21 05:54 PM
105

Fake statistics to encourage women that hookup culture is worthwhile! Our expectations for romance are too high so we have to bang guys immediately! Nah. Every woman I know who’s into hookup culture is used and discarded.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/09/21 04:25 PM
37

I was with a quiet guy. Was hard work! Especially eating dinners was awkward AF
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/09/21 04:24 PM

Shame. It’s all about him 😒
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/09/21 12:22 PM

Slow fading my group and keeping my favourites is what I’m doing too. I suspect one or two see it coming, but for now, I know it’s the best route for me.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/09/21 08:08 AM
28

Anyone who isn’t supportive of this post, is jealous and overly guarded. OP, I would love to read more HV stories such as yours! This sub gets too negative at times! We want hope and happiness 😌 I have been in a good relationship for a year now. We’ve had ups and downs, but overall even though I still have my personal issues that I need to fix, he’s been great with helping me with those and has been loving and generous even when I’m happy to just sit and watch tv (which I am - I like tv 😜).
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/09/21 08:05 AM
69

How does anyone marry a man like this? It’s going to get nasty for her in the future…
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/09/21 07:57 AM
16

I think a man can try to demonstrate a HVM façade, but with the standards I have, it’d be tricky!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/09/21 07:54 AM
51

I love it when the red flags come out immediately! A tinder date who was much uglier than his pics, who told me how his grandparents were swingers and I asked if they stopped when his parents were born. Nope. It’s not something that children should be exposed to.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/09/21 07:52 AM
41

One of my exes was so paranoid, he thought gay men pretended to get near me 🙃
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/09/21 07:50 AM
22

What a terrible time. I went to a guy’s house in June last year (around the time I first discovered FDS). Even when I tried the dumb fox method of bot saying anything negative and being quiet, he still commented how I pulled a face at the dust on his tv stand. Dude, don’t get upset with me for noticing that you’re a slob 💁🏼‍♀️ As for the next commenters, when we’re new we take on information bit by bit. We also have to overcome social conditioning that tells us most people are decent - especiall…
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/09/21 07:43 AM
60

As a disabled woman, I face the “yes pure pretty but a lot of guys aren’t going to put up with that”. If a guy can’t help or refuses to, he’s selfish and you don’t want him anyway!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/09/21 07:38 AM
47

Wow. I have met too many women who want to hang out with guys and don’t try with the girls. I’ve met ex friends like you describe here and it’s disappointing to befriend yet another pickme. They don’t care about us or our friendship, it’s all about getting men. I always try when I want to make a new girl friend, but I find they lose interest and stop talking. Anyone else here notice that you always message first?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/09/21 07:37 AM

I don’t know how to iron clothes so his only options are to do it himself or accept crinkles! Don’t think I can make that a requirement or I’d be a hypocrite 🤫
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy10/09/21 11:55 PM
50

I’m sorry there were some really good green flags, shame they came with red flag bunting 😕 He has a weird attitude where he’s worried you might use him or get him in trouble (age q) but he’s projecting.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy10/09/21 06:37 AM
16

Lies are scarier than the truth. This is an extreme example. There’s a stigma to identifying as “bi” but I’d rather someone be out and proud than hide it and suddenly come out in 30 years when I’m old and don’t have options 😕
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/09/21 11:26 PM
3

I like being a little woman and maybe I mention it too often 🤔 downsides include struggling to reach, not being taken seriously and less Kcals to work with. I feel like I would’ve owned any height - if you’re tall, you scare off all of the insecure men, whereas if you’re small, as fun as it is to look up to a big strong man, I’ve definitely had moments where I knew I’d be vulnerable if they chose to do anything they wanted.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/09/21 12:29 AM
34

Every guy I went on a date with lied about their height except the few who weren’t bothered. Tip: it’s the men who don’t mention it who turn out to be tall.

My teen years weren’t anything special. I plan to be more selfish and have more fun past the wall than I did standing before it. Maybe crushing the wall altogether and forgetting about the marriage and babies milestones is the way to enjoy life!

The good news is that you’ve found a good friend 🙂 I’d be very happy to have met him and would be considering setting up with someone who might be into him, in your position. Poor lad’s trying but it’s time to call a spade a spade and find your own HVM. You happened to find someone else’s. P.S. I understand the pain of meeting someone decent to feel nothing. But I chalk it down to something in your subconscious that knows more than you do - whether it’s having similar genetic flaws (as I discove…
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/09/21 02:57 AM

It’s sad when I’ve seen this on the bachelor. Clare at 39, was an “old” bachelorette, yet, there are currently men who are 35 (Joe) and 40 (Kenny) who are older and yet allowed to chase 22-25 year old women without anyone criticising them for it 🤔
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/09/21 02:45 AM
41

I’ll pop up every so often because you’re useful to me 😑 nah mate, if it’s gonna be 5 years, I’d rather it be never 💁🏼‍♀️

1) rude man 2) “Japan”. Such a flat response. No explanation. Lazy af
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/09/21 02:27 AM

Does this mean shoot the man as a way to protect you from pregnancy? That’s a sure fire way 😜
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/09/21 08:58 AM

Then you ask yourself - why did I value such a loser? Because I had a crush for 5 weeks at 15? 😛
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/09/21 09:40 AM
14

I agree with most of your points, but In fairness I have a mixed group and what annoyed me was multiple times my NVM ex would ask if I’d slept with any of them and couldn’t believe that I hadn’t. I was insulted. P.S. don’t go asking if your partner’s slept with their friends when there’s no indication to at they have.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/09/21 11:41 AM

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/09/21 07:31 AM

SAME. Only once this week, but I went a phase where I dm’d like 20 women. Only 1 or 2 react well. But if we get just one woman, then it’s a success 🙂
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/09/21 07:24 AM

I love how black and white the sub is - sure he ticks some boxes, but if he doesn’t tick the rest, he’s low value. Simple 👍🏻

I’m sorry that was your mum’s life and that it also affected you. She probably thought a step dad would help take care of both of you, because she didn’t have much choice. Your father really ruined her life.

Sorry about your ex husband. Glad you got out! 🥳 what were the signs that you knew he wouldn’t be able to “hack supporting a family”?

Same. I used to love him 💔

“Used to be addicted” 😕 I’m always shay of these statements because and addict never cures their addiction, they learn to avoid it or turn it into another one. I’m not keen to date anyone who claims they used to have an addiction because in all likelihood, they’ll relapse.

If she’s “stalking” him, surely he could’ve easily blocked her number? The sleeping together thing makes more sense - keep her around for fun. What did your intuition say? Did he disappear for random hours or days?

I’m at a point that if someone mentions someone who has deliberately hurt me, I’ll either say “I don’t want to talk about it” and refuse to engage with them. If they seem neutral or warm, I can say one or two statements, but if they seem to disbelieve me, they can fo .

I’ve met guys like this. They try to trauma bond and don’t accept it when you refuse to “open up” about your issues. Watch him then say he “had to” because you were guarded and it hurt his feelings 😑

Idk but I’m curious what everyone thinks!

This has been an ongoing trend. Basically, it’s being a slimy guy and sleeping around. I dated a few guys who ticked all of these boxes. If you’re followed FDS, this technique won’t touch you.

When I was 22, I dated a 30 year old thinking that he’d be more likely to be serious. HA HA HA So at 26, max 8 years but really up to 30 would be my preference if I were looking.

Yeah going out for pizza is more social/in a relationship for me rather than a romantic date. I think Pizza Hut is terrible but I’ve tried natural, fresh Italian pizza 🥰 Thank you 🥰 I like your name too. I’m not cultured enough to know what Cervelle means 😝

Agreed. The last 2 people who did this to me were 1) a covid positive promiscuous desperate pickme 2) a drug addict

Better. Not perfect, but my dr advised I chase them up about adding another medication to help with the side effects of the one I’m on. I’m glad to sort it out and not just complain about being sad forever! Yeah when you can’t find anyone, I see the logic in thinking may as well sleep around since I can’t find a husband anyway. I was restrained and acted like a lady for a long time but it felt fruitless.

A lot of low effort guys will best case scenario put in effort into the 1st date, then expect sex. So 3 dates can be enough time to weed out 80% of losers. P.S. I love this twist on the BS 3 date rule 😉

If you don’t know that there’s a chance of attraction by the 2nd date, then it’s a no. It depends on your sexuality. I find it confusing too but I tend to find that the way the guy treats me has an impact on my chances of an emotional connection.

More to tell the few women who’ve never heard about this to be aware. I’m thinking I’ll start just writing “go to FDS” now. I avoided it before but mentioned the general principles as vaguely as possible.

I hate it when everyone says “write a good profile” and when I was on tinder maybe only 10% of guys did. Even then, they’d mention one thing and not bring up anything else when the conversation died.

Ah that’s once you’ve got the in. Thank you. I’m talking about two strangers across a room. We’re mostly in a male group because the girls don’t come out enough! So I want the guys to branch out so there’s a nice balance of the sexes.

I don’t get how someone is so keen to respond to their bf ASAP. If anything, showing you more respect by prioritising the person in front of her would make her bf respect her more. He’s going to know he’s her no. 1. It’s kinda desperate on her side and shows no boundaries about time apart. Hell no. They can move in with each other then! I like to try out new places with friends! I can “vet” the venue before taking my boo 🥰 Ugh. Surely she wants to do something without him? Space please! Sounds l…

Terrible suffering. I definitely feel this pressure too - thankfully I’ve never done anal and I never will! A man wouldn’t do this sex stuff if we wanted it and he didn’t - and everyone would support him and say he was right to not be a simp.

Men have this mental idea that you always have a choice and that some guy will support you if you offer them sex or FWB etc. They’re the same guys who wouldn’t support you financially and yet somehow expect you not to fall on hard times 🤷‍♀️

1) As an another babe said, if you’re only hanging out and not going on real dates, that’s not good. He’s either lazy or poor. 2) if you’re not a redhead then why do you think he’s making that comment? I believe in calling him out. Any response other than an apology is a bad sign. I’m thinking it’s unlikely that he’s a catch himself. Usually it’s men who are “punching” that do this.

Babe, I hate to tell you this but it is always trial and error. I was one of the outcasts myself, I went to uni and I just kept trying over and over. It didn’t work out for me, but I felt proud of myself for being brave enough to try lots of societies at university. That’s the main thing I can suggest. Don’t get desperate and end up sleeping with some LVM. It’s easily done. If guys aren’t into you, consider it a good thing that they’re after superficial traits.
/r/askFDS02/07/21 06:58 AM
17

Sounds like you’ve either been dating a really bad man recently or have had a string of them. I think a lot of guys do the love bombing - pretending you’re the perfect woman for them in the beginning as a way to butter you up so that when they start mistreating you, you’ll cling onto the good times
/r/askFDS02/07/21 06:55 AM
7

Wow watch him promise that he’s never cheated on her in his life at the wedding 😂 #liesmentell As for OP, babe, you’re right to be angry! He lied! Good news is, you’re not the new woman putting up with his rubbish and wasting your time on him! Woo to freedom!

You sound burnt out! Do you have long work hours? Or issues with fatigue? It might be time to change jobs because I tried teaching and couldn’t manage anything else in life. As an autistic woman, I have struggles but there’s a crazy little creature in me that always wants friends 🤪 I can’t accept being antisocial 😂
/r/askFDS02/07/21 06:50 AM

Yeah that actually means he can tell that you’re interested. He wouldn’t say it otherwise. I can see that you’re going to ignore everyone’s advice anyway, which makes me think you wanted praise and reassurance. It’s ok to want that, but realistically what I love about this group is the brutal honesty. A guy is not automatically great just because you’re friends and you’ve developed feelings. Some guys even flirt with all their female friends. Check in with the other girls he’s friends with to se…

This is exactly what I was trying to tell my friends! every time I say, they say stupid shit like make allowances for people and that’s wrong, you don’t really know what’s going on. There is no way in hell I would flake on a date while I was there and I said The only reason I would be had already decided I was not interested.

Thank you so much for this post! I crave female friendships, but a lot of the time they love just moan about men the entire time you’re with them. Actually I had to cut off one friendship last year for the same reason of her just using me as a therapist to monologue at and I bumped into her once and I do not regret it! She tried to tell me how much she changed and within minutes revealed that she clearly hadn’t 😬

So YOU’RE the hungover party person! 😂 tbh I have a feeling you’re wasting your time with this guy, so go wild this weekend! 🍹🥴 I’d say that you’re free if he’d like to pick a place and time. If he’s vague and doesn’t book somewhere, ditch him.
/r/askFDS29/06/21 01:16 PM

The 36 year old is too old. Idc that he has a good job, because he needs more than that. I’d consider the 24 year old guy from work, but would worry that he wouldn’t want a serious commitment for a few years. I’d give him a chance while looking for other options.
/r/askFDS29/06/21 01:13 PM
9

It seems like HV behaviour, but I’d make sure he’s not doing all this just to sleep with you while you’re vulnerable. Keep him as a friend but don’t fall into the trap of letting him be your best friend at the exclusion of others. Good luck at the job interview! 😁
/r/askFDS29/06/21 01:08 PM
6

Is it mean that I would’ve ditched him and just got an Uber home for myself? 😂 You don’t know him well enough and that could’ve been dangerous. If you will be seeing him a lot, I’d report him to HR or ask further advice from them so that they are aware that he’s the inappropriate party, not you.
/r/askFDS29/06/21 01:05 PM
3

I don’t get it either. I’ve come across weirdos like this too! When you say you scheduled it, do you mean you sought him out for the FaceTime session? He might’ve been blasé before meeting but you might be nice to keep around for attention? 🤷‍♀️ you could be a future sex option he likes to keep around if you get sad and lonely. I wouldn’t trust him regardless. It could all be a lie to judge your reaction!
/r/askFDS29/06/21 01:01 PM

Bemusedly? I’m a bit bothered that he seems casual and resistant, while also randomly offering you a Sunday, which might be his hungover after partying day.

Leave. Who needs to live with you for a whole year before deciding to propose? 🙄 he already knows you’re not the one for him. And he shouldn’t even be in contact with his ex. Hell no. Dump him.

You had me from the first sentence. Everything you said reinforces all of the things I think. I really appreciate your point about attractive women not living their life on easy mode. I’ve met many pickmes who have assumed I have a lovely, easy life based on superficial reasons, when I am actually a naturally mentally ill, lonely person. Atm I’m doing well but when you’re going through a hard time, you don’t need to be pushed. Let’s give each other the love we keep showing men. They get more tha…

6 months in and no label? I would’ve been worried by all the unstable family dynamics, but would’ve definitely cut my losses at 6 months. The people he wants to know about her do? So the women he DOESN’T want to know are options?

This makes me angry because I’ve been there before. RUN. You aren’t crazy, your intuition is right. Dump this loser. He’s probably cheating with her. Don’t tell your friends, make up another reason so that they’ll be on your side. You’re single and it’s time to get out there and find a new man!

Point 2: this is something that would NEVER get into my head. You’d get this advice of “playing it cool” but no one ever explained it other than saying to look cool, whereas I love how everything in FDS explains WHY. It’s SO TRUE that you need to double check that the guy you like is actually interested, and not just loving the attention.

Your friends have noticed “chemistry” on his side but can’t read your behaviour. Speaking to a man? Wow you must be into him 😐 It’s a shame that if you respect a man, you feel safe if he also has a gf. I hate how your behaviour, innocent or not, prevents you from having friendships with men. I want to have a mixture of friends, but I’m more wary of the mens intentions.

I’m very sorry because I had a herpes scare and even just the thought of contracting it made me so upset because it limits your options. 😔 I’m sorry babe. I think there are creams and things to make it harder for others to contract but with regards to disclosure, I would leave it months because you never know if this guy is going to tell everyone and then it will ruin your reputation.

Any reaction other than them being okay with it and accepting it and not pushing sex ever again till marriage, is dumpable. If there are any signs of being moody, or manipulating you or trying to sexually escalate, you dump them. Seriously, men will do anything to get sex. I’d also say you wouldn’t want marriage immediately, because some guys will think if they marry you, they can get sex. You’re playing a long game here.

I would wait and see. If they become deactivated or disused after 2 more dates, then great. Signs he’s using them actively are if if cancels plans with you last minute, goes MIA or loses interest within that time. Defo let him go if that happens. My natural instinct is to be wary, but I was on different sites too because I was serious about finding someone.

Idk about all 6, but yeah that single dad is one to dump. I’d tell her you’re thrilled that she is desirable because she has so many men to date, and that she doesn’t have to settle for the guy with 3 kids from 3 women when there are better men out there. Hopefully she’ll read your intentions more as uplifting rather than a judgement.

Congrats 👏🏻 👏🏻 I’m so glad your spidey senses were tingling from the second he tried to triangulate and brag about other women! He’s so low value and using all of you for attention. They don’t just do it to you. You might seem more middle class and appear to have good breeding, which can make you have an air of wealth about you. Whether it’s true or not, it’s how I’m perceived as well, and those who don’t like it have a chip on their shoulder.
/r/askFDS19/05/21 06:36 PM

He isn’t congratulating you because he’s jealous - obvious LVM behaviour. Especially if he then says that it’s not that big a deal and you didn’t work that hard. #pastexperience
/r/askFDS19/05/21 05:09 PM

Hey, I know this exactly! Guys who have options know it and women just flock to them. But we don’t wanna be desperate pickmes. Wait until an attractive guy shows real interest in you. If he starts acting like a player, triangulating you, acting like he can have all the ladies, just move on
/r/askFDS19/05/21 03:13 PM

Talk to them and you’ll find out 😏 hahaha As all the other ladies have said, they start off great and then turn out not to be. The good news is, you can disregard the obvious 90% of losers. For the smart 10% of men who are left who appear to have everything, spend your time vetting them. From the “best” of the worst I found: A few had gfs already (excuses for why we can’t have dinner near them/the date can only be a couple hours long etc) Or wanted a texting/sexy pics buddy. I.e. I kept wonderin…
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy17/05/21 02:46 PM

It’s so weird having someone support you and compliment you and not waiting for the back handed compliment to come. I’ve been having that too and my reaction used to be to wait for the punch line that never came. You get more relaxed when you know you won’t be made to feel worse about yourself ☺️
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy17/05/21 02:34 PM

My brothers took my dad’s surname. They ditched their sucky real dad’s name. I think it’s a great way to make an ex mad 🙃

I approve! 😁 I knew a stunning woman at university and she was sad that no one ever approached her. She was so desperate that she hoped ANYONE even someone ugly, would just show some interest, but I knew she wasn’t getting the attention because she was far above the Calibre of men around us.

It’s always the broken tabled men who ask what you can offer them. A good man tries to prove himself worthy of you, not the other way around.

I hated when guys suggested they’d do me a favour and help walk my dogs. No thanks, I walk them everyday. A date is meant to be a fun activity, not about me worrying if one dog will poo or if he knows how to hold a lead.

I love that you managed to find 3 men to date at once. I’ve only managed to date 2 at once and they were both alcoholics. Guy A, I’ve dated one like that and maybe it’s the same guy 😂 military guys are a firm no for me now! Guy B you dumped at the right time! Guy C you watched, waited and he didn’t step up to the plate. I wouldn’t criticise any of your decisions, because you spent the time and paid attention. You won’t regret dumping these losers ☺️ go on and keep searching!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy16/05/21 09:55 AM

I know one and he doesn’t want to date a girl who has an onlyfans, but he also doesn’t believe in taking women on proper dates. He is so stereotypical low value...he blames women for liking men who are taller than him, while he wants them to be on a sexual rotation. Mate, the problem isn’t your height.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy16/05/21 09:43 AM

This is the most important FDS post of all! 🙌🏻🙌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 it sums up exactly when we’re all here. If I hadn’t met so many toxic, abusive guys, I wouldn’t have needed to find this space. Thank you for setting the record straight.

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/05/21 10:54 AM

Damn. It started so well until the porn moment. How long were you together when that happened? The final straw for me would’ve been the avoidance to get tested.
/r/askFDS10/05/21 10:23 AM
3

The unrequited aspect suggests that you have crushes on guys you don’t know very well. Remember, your intentions are pure and if they don’t return your feelings, they’re likely misogynists who just want the most openly sexy girl. I imagine you are more reserved - which is going to appear that you have self esteem and LVMs don’t like that. I don’t think you’re bad at dating. As long as you can hold a conversation, you’re already there.
/r/askFDS10/05/21 10:20 AM
24

I’d like to think you got a lovely baby out of a bad situation 🥰 I’m sorry that it’s gone down like this and please don’t focus on that loser! I believe the first step is to raise your son to be the most secure that he can 🙂 and let him know that he can be better than his father.
/r/askFDS10/05/21 10:17 AM

I always put positive things in my profile. Someone who puts negative things or what they DON’T want, is either jaded or needs to take a break from dating.
/r/askFDS10/05/21 10:15 AM

Not taking photos with your gf but of your cousin? That’s a red flag. I’d dump his ass.

I’ve always hated beards because they always belong to cheap, dirty men.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/05/21 07:33 AM

It wouldn’t be so bad if polyamory involved taking all of your gfs on dinner dates - but the real polys want to meet for drinks, have you pay your half, then have sex. 😐 I don’t see why any women, even Pickmes are open to this. Even at my most desperate, it would be a no from me.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/05/21 07:30 AM
25

Another sign is if they say “one day when all your pets are gone” NO. They want your undivided attention and pets are seen as a distraction from serving them.

I’ve watched dads get praised for doing something once, that mums do everyday.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/05/21 06:56 AM

I think they hate 30 year old single women because they’re upset you all didn’t get desperate by 29 and grab the nearest man. Oh no! A woman who stayed single by choice. Who will wash me and feed me? 🥺
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/05/21 06:56 PM

Lol yeah gotta watch him though - might play the nice logical character to win her over. Doubt it ofc but he could be one to watch and see if he follows through 🙂

It’s fascinating - men love to know if a woman has ever done sex work, yet they wouldn’t want YOU to know if they’ve supported it.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/05/21 06:51 PM
9

The shift is us taking back the power. The power to reject men who aren’t good enough and relationships that don’t serve our needs. No more compromising on bare minimum standards, no second-guessing. Think like a man and ditch them like they ditch us - be ruthless and selfish. Being firm in your convictions will put off the toxic men who realise they can’t abuse you. You’ll save yourself from future bad memories. For me, I look back on the pickme times. Being nice and accommodating did me no fav…
/r/askFDS08/05/21 06:31 PM

Can confirm from past relationship! Same thing - 3 weeks - crazy intensity. They make you feel bad for not feeling the same because you know the feelings aren’t real
/r/askFDS08/05/21 06:27 PM
10

I’m glad you have a therapist 🙂 I have a tendency to take things literally and believe everything people tell me 😂 we’re honest so we can’t imagine why a man might lie! The faking of long term relationships is to lull you into a false sense of security. Even if it was true, he didn’t marry or end up with any of those gfs. What does that tell you? 💁🏼‍♀️
/r/askFDS07/05/21 06:17 PM
27

They dumped you because you wouldn’t give them sex 😤 you’ve only met LVM so far. Sorry babe, I hate even more that you get you hopes up when one LVM seems good just because the others were NVM.

Same! I remember that I was considering cancelling a few before they happened, and let me tell you all from experience - if you aren’t sure and are thinking about not going, just cancel. They never wow you and they usually end up uglier than their pics.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/05/21 07:38 AM

It’s sad that he’ll pay other women for sex work, but let me guess - he didn’t spend any money on you during the relationship? Poor current fling. Can’t even call her a gf because that’s not how he sees her ☹️

I’ve had friends like this before! They would go ON and ON after I said, “he told you upfront he wanted to mess around”. I don’t understand that when you’re warned and the man has even told you what his intentions are, that pickmes be upset 🤔

Men are so weird like that! I’ve encountered some that used vulgar language and sounded like they wanted to try anything BUT vanilla 😂😅

I know a woman with lots of man friends. There are 2 issues: 1) she’s slept with half of them 2) the other half are low value and would if she’d let them. As for why she doesn’t have more female friends, well, she starts arguments with me and other girls on purpose, talks over us and starts gossip to make other women out to be promiscuous.

He wants to know where you live to what, stalk you? Monitor the potential new men? Hell nah. I’d call him out directly to let him know I assume the worst in him. Men get upset when you do that! 😏 Then block ofc 😁

I see so many men on tv and irl, that say “I’m 28” and me and my mum, are shocked. She says, “they look 40!” Because a lot of them are wrinkled, fat and in a terrible state. We’re almost never shocked by an old looking young woman because they aren’t prevalent like the old young men. They have old men bodies before their time, too. Lotion, moisturise, and wash - it isn’t impossible!

I dated 2 men who had abusive fathers. They both demonstrated signs of abuse. One joked that he was strong enough to rape me and the other hit me when I beat him at a game. These men use the “my dad was a bad man” story to gain sympathy, yet what I never understood was then they’d be EXACTLY like their fathers whom they hated. When I told people, they didn’t believe it. Why? Because the guy who hit me seemed like the sweet “oh shucks” type. My brothers also grew up with an abusive father. Someti…

I love to talk but this is the right way to go about it 😂 I’m open about it because I want the page to get more attention! But silence is the best for individuals

And the fact that he wanted her to join him on a night out - you can bet he’d get you drunk and coerce you into bed 😨😬

He definitely intended to be too “tired” to go home, but lo and behold, had enough energy for sex 🤔

Yes but what if I have to pay for it? What if she nags me about our kid? Kill her and then I don’t have to worry anymore 😐 I don’t understand this behaviour either. If you don’t want children, get a vasectomy. Don’t kill this lovely lady 😞

It’s always, “how would you like to suck my d/go for a ride” never, “want me to give YOU oral?”

Casual guys really are lazy fucks with no future! I dated one who said he’d do up a room in his house. 2 months later, hadn’t touched it.

Is it bad that I’d stop calling the ambulance, so mum could have full custody?

Yes! Women naturally carry more fat, but why are men fatter than us? 🤔 I think men should face more pressure about their weight than women. They also don’t get conditions like endometriosis, which leads to weight gain.

If we can all manage not to watch porn, I think men can too. It messes up your brain! Like any addiction (alcohol, drugs) it’s low value and takes over your life.

She’d be happier in the long run if she dumped him and found someone else who was thrilled to have a shot with her. Instead, she’s going to spend years putting up with the escalating neglect and porn addiction, thinking that it’s better than a divorce, when it’s not. Divorcing is hard but worth saving the rest of your life and sanity!

Boxer = aggressive job Pregnant = nah don’t want a baby. I might have to pay for it, so killing you makes my life easier. Turning himself in doesn’t make him good, and it feels like that act is what the courts will focus on and purposely forget that the pregnant partner was a person.

I hate those questions. I’ve always hated vague questions - why can’t they ask normal things like, do you have pets? Or, “how do you spend most Sundays?”

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
