I wonder what makes feminists think that these guys were "fake feminists". in Louis CKs case didn't he sexually harass someone?

holy shit this is literal dehumanization of people nobodys asking you to date fat women if you dont want to, but no need to call them farm animals
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/18 01:01 AM

True there are some, but I think that that's less than you'd think. Most of the guys I know, even the ones you wouldn't really call Chad, can get a ONS or FWB if they want to.

Nobody's forcing you into a relationship you don't want. Some dudes like monogamy, some like polyamory.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/18 12:02 AM

Usually relationships that start closed but open have some reasons like there's cheating and they try to mend the relationship by opening it so they can say "oh no theyre not cheating, its open now". That doesn't work because the cheating still hurts even if you open the relationship after the cheating already occurred.

Even nonviolent dealers usually have connections, and those connections might not be as nonviolent as he is. Even bankers need someone to sell them cocaine. Being a banker doesn't make someone less likely to commit a crime either, so why point out bankers? because there's a couple of dealers there. See that's the thing. It's not just a couple of dealers, but the fact that the whole thing could grow beyond that.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/17 11:50 PM

because if they live in my area they're bringing in questionable people and making crime rates higher I like living in low crime
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/17 11:43 PM
1

Blame the government for the war on drugs. I do as well. I don't support the war on drugs. But I also think it's really dumb to become a drug dealer just to get pussy, and also when someone becomes a drug dealer they tend to attract all kinds of questionable people and bring up the crime rate. I enjoy living in a low crime rate neighborhood.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/17 11:39 PM
1

Why do you care so much about what other people do with their lives? Becoming a drug dealer solely to get pussy would be fucking stupid. Because they're fucking up society when they become a drug dealer to get pussy. One person might not seem like a big deal but when a lot of people does this, the neighborhood becomes unsafe. Crime rates go up.

We have nothing against casual sex, we have something against people who turn themselves into people who aren't positive members of society because they think it will get them laid. Ie the people who think being an asshole or a psychopath will get them laid.

Some parts of the world suck. Be the change you want to see in the world.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/17 11:25 PM

A lot of the top leaders are pretty shitty people that the world would be better off not emulating.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/17 11:24 PM

But that's why people dislike TRP. They value getting laid over being a productive member of society. There are guys here who are jealous of prison people because they can sleep with druggie women.

Narcissistic people pay more attention to their looks (both men and women) and therefore are more attractive. You don't have to be narcissistic to pay attention to your looks.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/17 11:22 PM

A lot of those people who got to where they are by stepping over others are not someone anyone should want to emulate. Have a bit of self respect.

Grass is greener on the other side man. As a woman the biggest thing I envy about men is how a couple of guys could get together and play CoD while chugging beer, most of the time it's hard to join in as a woman because they want their guy time.

To give you some perspective, what is he is a chef and can make your favourite dish. He made it all the time with his ex, but not with you, it is different okay? If it's that important to me it doesn't matter if he's done it with an ex or not, I'd leave him anyways whether he's done it before or not. That's my point. Otherwise it's not that important and I can get over it. It is ultimately a validation of his worth. I want to date people who don't seek external validation

No. Feel free to call it out just as much as calling out toxic masculinity. Toxic femininity is just like toxic masculinity - it's toxic, and it's often based on a sexist ideal. Call it out.

from what I read it seems like RPers are usually libertarians saying "fuck society who cares if we live in a civilized place or a complete trainwreck anyways" without remembering the things society gives them like safety, support, companionship, etc

Is there a reason women wear low-cut shirts OTHER than to accentuate their cleavage? idk and idc Further, is there a reason it's mostly women's shirts that have a low cut shirt? It's a bit of a coincidence, considering women are the ones with breasts on their chest. mens fashions have always been a bit dull imo, there aren't a lot of mens fashion besides tshirt and shorts or boring suit
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/17 11:42 PM

Most people share same values maybe
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/17 11:34 PM
1

No but I don't see anyone actually caring why women wear low cut shirts. I only see the people who care are those who say "I can harass her freely because they were looking for attention anyways." Nobody else cares why they wear low cut tops.

No woman wants a broke man than refuses to get up and work and make money for them. I feel bad for a man who is willing to date someone who refuses to get up and work, to be honest. Laziness is a major character flaw.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/17 10:59 PM

Most non criminals dont even know criminals
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/17 10:58 PM
1

Nobody cares if women wear sexy clothing to show off or not. We just care when they're getting harassed for it, regardless of the reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/17 10:58 PM
2

What doesn’t make sense is women giving away their most precious gift, the bodies What year are we in? and why isn't dating her/spending time a prize in itself
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/17 08:57 PM
1

Because for a lot of women, getting money is a basis for a relationship. Just gold diggers It's why women do not typically date broke men No it's not, it's because of a) the fact that we need money to survive and buy food and a house and raise kids and b) a lot of the kinds of broke men that women are talking about aren't the hardworking laid off guys but the lazy couch potatoes
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/17 08:54 PM
1

From my statistics as well as most movies and TV most of the people who date criminals are either druggies or people from family backgrounds where they didn't have very good role models. Noncriminal women like me don't even know criminals.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/17 08:11 PM
1

Same with women who are attracted to known criminals. Do you think that non-criminal women with no issues are going to be attracted to known criminals?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/17 08:07 PM
3

Why is having 3somes with other guys in the past a sign that she's more attracted to them? Maybe she's so attracted to her current guy she doesn't want to share him.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/17 08:06 PM
1

There are men attracted to criminal women too. Most of the time criminals attract criminals. Sometimes criminals also attract gullible people who don't know they're criminals or make excuses for them.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/17 08:04 PM
2

Like for example, if someone says "Women who wear low-cut shirts are trying to bring attention to their cleavage", that sounds like a reasonable point, right? regardless, it's not an excuse to harass her, so why does it matter at all
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/17 07:57 PM

Comparing past experiences to present experiences is called learning. And you're asking people to not do this. The redpillers who compare past experiences to present experiences and want their partner to act exactly as they did in the past is asking people not to learn.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/17 07:46 PM
1

Do women want men with options? They do. If a man without options was a good catch I would want him too, but often men without options are not good catches, because if they were good catches they'd have options.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/17 07:44 PM
1

In my opinion, she has every right to be pissed off. I wouldn't hold it against her. He is damaged goods. His new approach is better for him, but not for her. I disagree. If they are a good match, then she would understand why he's like that. She'd understand that if he had been divorced before, he might be more cautious about proposing, for example. Or maybe he just found out that getting into marriage too early doesn't really jive with his personality.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/17 05:38 PM
1

Maybe she used to be one of those people who would just do something to please her man even if she didn't like it, but she's no longer like that anymore. Just like maybe a guy used to buy his ex a lot of gifts and be clingy and needy, and isn't like that anymore.

Every relationship is different. What one girl has with her ex is different from what she has with her current partner for example.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/17 05:16 PM
2

1) not every woman goes on the CC, many women don't 2) the latter stage isn't bad for men, if she's choosing to stay with him, chances are because she likes him more than the other guys she's seen
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/17 05:15 PM

High quality is a woman with a set of principles, abides by those principles and isn't a hypocrite. She is honest and honorable and treats people well. She doesn't do things like cheat. A low quality woman is one who backstabs others, acts like a bitch and doesn't treat people right. She may be a hypocrite about her principles and doesn't practice what she preaches. Same with men really.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/17 05:12 PM

I'm a woman I'm not a gold digger but I don't deny they exist.

No, when they say blue pill they mean a guy who constantly gets pussy whipped, because they believe that believing that the female gender is not inferior = pussy whipped.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/17 04:58 PM
1

For example, don't we all want a big-boned woman with big "child-bearing" hips and a pelvic bone-structure that minimizes the odds of birth-complications? In a long portion of history this was the case. Skinny didn't become popular until recently

in the real world, everybody has moments of singleness just like /u/ginsmokelies says for those who are involuntary virgins at 30, or people who perma can't find a date, I'd say the number is low like 5% On the internet it looks higher especially on ppd because ppd is basically a place to discuss these issues so people with these issues flock here

/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/17 10:57 PM

People don’t just go from being awesome to one day punching a hole in the wall Yeah they do. Many abusive guys activate on a cycle. They might be really nice and send flowers and everything, then they get violent, then they apologize and say it will never happen again and she believes him, and then he sends her flowers, treats her really nice, and then one day he gets violent again.

it's definitely not "eww gross this date is over. Because it's often not a big enough reason to break up with someone? Anyways as an introverted girl I really just want to have an extrovert friend so they can introduce me to people that I would otherwise be too shy to talk to and let me tag along in parties.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/17 10:40 PM
1

If 90% hate you but 10% are all over you it's a winning strategy overall Doesn't this go against the redpill's "appeal to the lowest common denominator" usual advice? For example a lot of redpillers say "It's better to appeal to 75% of women than 25% of women" when I ask them "don't you think it's better to have 25% of women like you for who you really are rather than who you pretend to be"
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/17 10:37 PM

Here I am waiting for that uh benefit. As according to feminists I am jack full of privilege like I am a 1 percenter of privilege. As I am white, tall came from a basically upper middle class family. And yet I gotten zero benefits from it. You're probably more likely to get hired for a job than someone who's from a less affluent family background, is not white, or a woman in some fields.

Even queens were forced to abide by a lot of standards (looking like a virgin for example, if not married, being faithful if married) that kings weren't (everyone knows that kings cheat and are fine with it)

I look at my actions, look at their criticism, and judge whether the criticism is right and change my action if I've really done something that's against my values. Otherwise, I understand that we may have different values. Or maybe they are just an asshole who wants to be judgy.

This is why BP disagrees with redpill. RP comes up with the strawman that BP doesn't like RP because RP tells guys to lift. Well posts like this by redpillers is the reason why BP doesn't like RP, not whatever strawman RPers make out of it.

Do you agree that the sexual revolution has created a climate where it's perhaps more difficult to "take it slow?" Yes, but that's just the SMP at work. If there's Stacy out there who's willing to have sex on the 3rd date, then someone who wants to wait for marriage are hard to find. I don't blame the sexual revolution for that, each person is free to make their choice. I wouldn't want to date someone who's only waiting because he has no other choice anyways. I support the sexual revolution because women who aren't like me deserve their right to have casual sex without becoming the gossip of town. If someone succumbs to pressure to a friend who says "go home with that cute guy" she should either grow a backbone and say no, or get new friends.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/17 08:26 PM
1

However, it exerts pressure on women to have sex and to appear to be sex-positive, when they might have preferred to take things slower. I agree that the rest of what you say happens to many women, but it's not because of this reason. It's mainly because there are so many more women out there who will put out on the first date or second date, so it's hard for a woman who wants to wait for marriage to find a guy willing to wait anymore.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/17 08:24 PM
1

Because it's a destructive behavior
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/17 08:03 PM
1

We all know at least 1 guy who's unattractive but rich and has a much hotter wife because of it
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/17 06:02 PM
1

Ask any woman whether she wants to date a guy who's fucked 30 girls, and most of them would say no too unless they themselves have been around. People like people with similar sexual values and experiences because it's much easier to have a relationship when values on important things (sex, family, whether they want kids or not) match.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/17 05:52 PM
1

It's not really healthy or good to actively seek out known douchebag guys though.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/17 05:49 PM
2

You realize most party girls are banging red pill types. No we don't think that. A subgroup of party girls (and some non party girls as well) - the ones who are okay with not being taken seriously or treated as a 2nd option, are banging redpill types.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/17 05:47 PM
2

Yeah that's not the definition of RP most people use. Most people use the definition of RP as someone who agrees with evo psych based gender roles and AWALT and stuff like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/17 05:45 PM
1

It doesn't mean RP, its just guys who commonly meet and hook up with girls at parties, or that spin plates in their own way. Nobody has a problem with this except for super religious chastity folks. We have a problem with the misogyny in RP and not everyone who have casual sex is misogynist
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/17 05:44 PM
1

There are people who've never hooked up at parties though
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/17 05:40 PM
2

I think that the second claim is because redpillers treat women poorly, and don't even attempt to hide it. They have tactics like treating the things she says as a shit test and not taking her seriously. They have tactics where they intentionally go out their way to avoid paying $5 for a cup of coffee. They neg and act arrogant in many ways. They don't even attempt to look like they're treating women well. So they will attract women who don't mind being treated poorly, and most of the time that'…
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/17 05:39 PM
1

Because red pill tactics like negging and dread game work on women who are insecure. Women who are secure say "okay bye" when the guy is trying to dread game her. It's not misogyny to say that, just like it's not misandry to say "30+ year old men who go for 18 year old women only are creepy"
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/17 05:34 PM
2

eh I think that having another option for men would be good many men seem to not like condoms and vasectomies are permanent so many men who want kids in the future won't take this
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/17 05:30 PM
1

I would support both male and female birth control being paid for by the government too.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/17 05:21 PM
3

If she's slutty, this makes her less responsible by default why can't the guy use a condom? that has 0 side effects
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/17 05:13 PM

They just want the woman to take all the contraception worries so they can just have fun and not have to deal with things like that

certain parts of america are really conservative

/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/17 05:01 PM

yeah probably
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/17 05:00 PM
1

thats not mgtow. thats what we call people who choose to be single. im one of them
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/17 01:02 AM
1

MGTOW doesn't just make the choice to go their own way they do it by being really bitter if not outright harmful to the people around them (there was one guy on there who was clearly an abuser for example)
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/17 12:58 AM
3

There was one guy there who said his wife was abusing him because she didn't serve him properly and because she didn't want to get pregnant due to her career.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/17 12:55 AM
1

I mean, most MGTOW guys don't date, that's why they go MGTOW in the first place.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/17 12:49 AM
1

Okay, go your own way. Really, it's your choice whether you want a relationship or not, and nobody has an issue with what choice you make. There's really no need to announce it to the world either.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/17 12:47 AM
1

It's not, but unfortunately with the rise of "amoral libertarianism" which is basically another word for "screw you I got mine" anyone who doesn't think like that gets a bonus +1 already. It's sad that the world is like that, and they put one of those guys into the white house.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/17 12:41 AM
1

I'm not saying it was. I'm just saying, if she feels bad about hurting someone's feelings at least she has a conscience.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/17 12:36 AM
3

I mean, he might get a "no" but that's better than a sexual harassment lawsuit
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/17 12:15 AM

the fact that they feel bad for hurting someones feelings already puts them above some of the dark triad redpillers who claim that everything is amoral
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/17 11:28 PM

Just like some tests, you have to score a certain percent to be considered TRP
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/17 10:31 PM

then why do i usually see couples with their looksmatch
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/17 10:12 PM
1

I disagree. Capitalism benefits dark triad alphas whether it's big business capitalism or caveman style hunting capitalism. In order to get a fairer society where the rich/strong don't take advantage, a bit of socialism is necessary.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/17 09:58 PM

lol CEOs are better at hiding it because they have more of an image that has to do with being "prim and proper"

If the safety net was better and poor people were given more of a chance (free college for example) less poor people would turn to crime. Ever notice how crime is linked to poverty? Get rid of poverty, get rid of crime.

It won't be perfect but it can be better
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/17 07:34 PM

This isn't about high art. This is about rich people who know they can get away with anything.

this
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/17 07:30 PM

That doesn't mean they have to whip their dick out in front of people without permission. There is a thing called self control.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/17 07:30 PM
3

"crimes" like whipping your dick out in front of women who don't even tell you to stop and don't leave the room It's called taking advantage of his wealth and power to get people to be scared of reporting sexual harassment. If there was a social culture where the rich didn't get away with everything, more people would be less afraid to report it or to tell someone who has the key to casting decisions "no"

Different time period, different social values.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/17 07:15 PM

Then how do you explain the fact that men are more likely to tell their friends "your shirt is ugly" than women? Or that women are more likely to say "it's not you, it's me" when rejecting a guy?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/17 07:12 PM
9

When women reject guys they don't find hot they often say "it's not you it's me" because they don't want to hurt his feelings
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/17 07:11 PM
3

It is though, based on psych studies done it shows that many rapists didn't actually like the sex or didn't think it was that special, but that they like the feeling of being in charge.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/17 07:09 PM
1

A lot of redpillers don't get this context
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/17 07:03 PM

The point was just to say that "women like it" is true despite what we may be told. Women like it when it's done by their husband or boyfriend and there's a mutual understanding that they both enjoy it

TRP is a whole set. It includes all their ideas of gender relations for example. Just having 1 part doesn't make someone TRP. For example cap/firstmate is part of TRP, but someone who's just a tradcon who is in a cap/1stm relationship doesn't make them a trper

Statistically on average men are taller than women. It's not that women don't want to date shorter men, it's that at the average height of a woman (5'3 in america) there are almost no guys that short the women who are with shorter guys are all really tall women like 5'10 or above, which is less than 1% of the population
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/17 06:33 PM

Then your looks are also what you have, just as much as your job is. but it seems from this conversation that you just want to be holier than thou
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/17 06:30 PM

Not you personally, but "you can't fuck a degree" is a red pill/MGTOW quote on PPD whenever they talk about dating an average looking career woman. Many of those same guys also believe women should date average looking STEM guys just because they STEM, so it's a bit of hypocrisy there. I'd personally prefer an average looking STEM guy to a hot frat boy but that's because I value similar interests and values much more than some other people.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/17 02:55 AM
7

I think a bigger concern is about how average looking men who act well can get acting careers easier than average looking women can.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/17 02:11 AM
5

They're not comparable. A STEM job is worth it for a lot of other reasons like making more money. It's just not a big factor in dating. Redpillers and mgtow themselves say they care more about looks and personal attraction than dating an accomplished career woman.

(are you a even a guy?) no and I never said I was Women who care more for making their looks perfect are usually not doing it for 1 guy I'm pointing out the obvious problems relying on your perspective and experience here vs. a very large scale study that involved multiple people and checks. Maybe the study includes older people. Older people want relationships and beautiful people are more likely to get success.

Law breakers don't give a shit what the laws are. To be frank the prison system only encourages more law breaking. Since it's a jungle there where the meanest toughest guys will get power. The whole system needs to be changed to encourage rehabilitation rather than more law breaking.

/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/17 08:51 PM

How much did financial dependence really matter in the past? Could the women not just move back in with her parents instead of suffering the abuse of her partner? They get shamed for that. And back then it wasn't just verbal shaming like "lol you suck" but things like becoming a target for lynch mobs, witchcraft accusations, no other man would ever marry them, etc.

Actually, as far as I am concerned, anyone could be rejecting anyone for any reason at all or even none stated, it's their right to choose who they associate with. Well yeah, women are weaker than men physically, and women get pregnant. In a complete law of the jungle world, men will be in charge due to their physical strength and ability to beat people into submission better than women. Natural selection doesn't mean something the world shouldn't try to change, nobody wants to live in a law of the jungle world (which is what natural selection leads to). And I'm telling the libertarians who say "I would" no you wouldn't.

Social darwinism sucks for everyone. Except for the few strong people who have no moral qualms about fucking everybody else over to get ahead. By the way if you're a redpiller who's rooting for social darwinism you might want to think otherwise. Natural selection basically says "if you're not born with good looks, 6'+ height, you're going to be a virgin and should be. Your genes suck and you shouldn't improve anything because that's defying nature. No matter how much a 5' 8 guy works out a 6'+ g…

Average IQ in America is 98 with a SD of 15. On the internet, 90% of the people have an IQ of 120, and almost 0 has IQ under 100, when the actual number would be greater than 50% going by mean and SD. Maybe internet users are smarter than others, I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case. But not by this much. In other words, somebody, not necessarily the OP, is probably lying. Average IQ in America is 98, yet I very seldom heard of someone with an IQ under 120 on the internet. Almost never heard anyone with IQ under 100. Either somebody is lying (not necessarily you, but somebody) or the internet is really skewed. If you're telling the truth, unfortunately, that somebody else has ruined the credibility of people in general who talk about IQ. many men also look at looks before anything else, and then end up in relationships where they don't share much with their girlfriends and then they go on trp and talk about how men and women are just too different to get along for anything besides sex but its not women's fault for realizing that other things are just as if not more important than looks

I think men are much more flexible on things like a womans income, height, where she lives, even neatness. Women and men have different things they're flexible about. I agree that men are flexible on a woman's job, income, height. I disagree with neatness. He might not care if her room is neat but he definitely cares that she does her hair properly, puts on a neat looking outfit, which all count under neatness. However men are less flexible on things like physical attractiveness.

Yes unless both he and his wife agree to it. This is just like what people do when they hire a detective on their spouse. It's going to ruin the relationship whether they turn out to be a cheater or not. That's why people only hire a detective when there's a very high risk of actual infidelity. As in infidelity that happens after they were together, rather than in the past.

After treating Harrison to some beers and joints, I dropped some high-yield, thermonuclear truth-bombs on his head. He was floored. He begged me to stop, and later to continue, my descriptions of the lurid things she let anonymous men do with her. He broke down into tears and vomited more than once. Yep... That's kinda a douchy move If they were happy then why do you have to ruin it?

But, if someone is just calling you incisive, mean things? Sorry, that's not the government's responsibility. There's a difference between "calling you mean things" and date rape which is what we were talking about. Why did you switch the topic? But yes calling people mean things shouldn't be illegal. However society should judge the fuck out of people who say "being mean is not illegal so I'll do it anyways".

People want the government to be mankind's God, their judge, jury, and executioner, their arbiter of what is moral and just and what is immoral and evil, their provider of manna, etc. That's stupid. Who else will be their judge and jury if people won't be their own? The government is necessary for that reason. The other options are worse: mob rule for example. As long as the world isn't a utopia government is necessary to prevent people from doing bad things, because otherwise there would be mob…

They're not whatsoever. Those two positions are mutually exclusive. What i mean is that those people are the reasons why a lot of minor laws get passed. Laws that shouldn't be needed. Because apparently there are people who will act in ways that fuck others up as long as there's no law against it, so apparently there needs to have a law to stop them. Should women give them pity sex? Should we bring back arranged marriage?

If the lack of or having less empathy makes them potentially dangerous or unable to understand what consent is, then they shouldn't be having sex. But affirmative consent is actually helping them. What is it about a romantic partner that makes them special in that way? Living with them, becoming a family unit. it's just that I'm highly anti-social and see no need for a life partner/soulmate/whatever, but people insist that I should have one. If you don't want one you shouldn't have one, do what suits you and ignore what people say.

Because the majority of cases are guys raping drunk girls not the other way around. But I don't mind women being taught this too anyways. i'm just explaining why it's not common to. Also there's a physical reason why this is rare. When a guy is super drunk to the point where they can't legally consent, a majority of times he can't get it up.

Valid point, I guess we're different. I'm a bit sensitive about my height, and I'm trying not to be because I'm fully aware that being self-conscious about something like height is a unattractive trait. When I give heightcels advice not to be too obsessed on height it's not a platitude like people think it is, it's actually advice I give myself. Yes actually that's my ideal height because i'm short. A 6'1 guy would be too tall next to me, I'd feel weird and short. Honestly it's probably my issue but I feel shitty enough about my height. I don't want to feel any shorter than I already am.

It's probably cultural to some degree. If women are told that sleeping around would make them used goods and therefore unable to marry high quality marriage minded men, then women who want to marry will not sleep around. So the women who sleep around are the ones who aren't too monogamous to begin with. Meanwhile if men are told they can still marry the virgin wife of their dreams after sowing their wild oats, then men - both marriage minded and not will sleep around and therefore sleeping aroun…

It's not about sleeping around leading to lower pair bonding ability, but the fact that women who tend towards monogamy tend to not sleep around. They are told by culture and by older people that if they want to get married, they should remain pure or at least not sleep around too much because it will mean that men not want to marry them. On the other hand many men are culturally told to sow their oats and then marry the one they choose. So even monogamy-tended men might sleep around a bit.

A man with the mindset that she isn't worth $5 isn't worth $5 to her either. A man who goes out of his way to avoid paying, especially in a rude way as in coming to a date late, gets dumped for a reason.

I'm saying that even if it was "consensual" as in she says "yes" the fact that he's a police officer in a position of power means that he 1) acted unethically and against the rules of being a police officer which means he should be fired and 2) probably illegally as well, which means he will probably go to jail.

Because there probably is (and should be) a law that says police can't abuse their power to get sex with people they have in custody. I'd say that's rape regardless of whether it was consensual or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/17 03:58 AM
1

I think most men would not. Those 2 detectives were shitholes who should be fired at best, if not charged for abusing their power as cops (if the sex was consensual, they still took advantage of their position of power), or rapists who should be in jail (if the sex was not consensual) Even if it was consensual there probably is a law against it that could convict them (and hopefully there is).

A well adjusted rep-pill aware male does not hate women. He recognizes them for what they are and acts accordingly. It becomes a bit misogynist when they assume that "what they are" is negative. For example, I talked to a redpiller who says that when he goes on a date he automatically thinks "is she going to be a cunt or a bitch or a gold digger? Better hedge my bets and not give her anything just in case". People who go on dates assuming that it's going to be shitty.

It's not entitlement for someone to say "I will dump a guy for not paying on a date". Feminists will insist that this dynamic is unhealthy and creates male entitlement, but women themselves are equally responsible for keeping it alive. Feminism doesn't say that women aren't responsible. Women, just like men, are often products of the culture and behave in ways that are culturally expected. That's a cultural aspect that we're trying to change. Women, just like men, are products of their culture, and if they live in a culture where men are taught that crying is pussy then chances are that women are conditioned to not like those men. If we can fix the culture to accept emotional men then it will be better.

Nobody thinks rape is a good thing. Many people think that rape culture = thinks rape is a good thing. Rape culture doesn't = thinks rape is a good thing. Rape culture = rape is seen as something normal. Ie "if you go drunk to a party rape's going to happen"

Rape culture is also a culture where rape is excused, like "she was wearing a short skirt and drinking, what did she expect"

And OP provided an example of society actively discouraging rape. consent culture doesn't stop evil rapists (ie the rapists who know what they're doing is rape but still does it) Consent culture is meant to teach those who have no intention of raping but doesn't know what to do in situations where consent is tricky. It should be basic knowledge "if there's no active consent, then don't have sex, or ask directly - even if it's foggy it's better to not get laid than risk becoming a rapist" yet it'…

My answer to this is that 1 singular person giving a lighter sentence doesn't represent a culture, a culture is the response of the society. It's not the first time, the reason why there's so much alarm is because it literally happens all the time. college campuses around the country actively promote a consent culture, not a rape culture. if rape culture didn't exist there would be no need for this A lot of people mistake rape culture to mean "people think rape is a good thing". you're saying in this thread that women shouldn't bother seeing a guy again if he's not willing to pay for a date for a 5 dollar coffee. It's less of "not wanting to pay" and more of "actually going through strategies to avoid forking over 5 dollars for a starbucks coffee" but then you're asking why men are paying for women they don't love why do men date women they think aren't even worth more than a coffee?

Well, I would question a guy who dates so many people in such a short period of time that he would be spending so much money. Does he date just about anyone? Do the women leave after they find something wrong with him? Does he have really high expectations that one cannot reasonable meet? Does he do something that scares them away? Does he indiscriminately date (which means that I'd be putting time into dating him for a very high chance of a non-match)? Is he bad at picking potential dates that …

I'm not entitled. If he doesn't want to date me because of this then fine, bye bye. I don't ask anyone to date me, but I have preferences that I stick to. And my preference is a guy who thinks i'm worth more than a 5 dollar starbucks coffee. I'm fully entitled to reject a guy who doesn't think I'm worth it.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/17 09:41 PM

Well then I don't feel too sorry for him, he chose to pay due to his own expectations.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/17 09:41 PM

If a guy gets upset about paying for a $5 coffee, he shouldn't be dating that person if he thinks paying $5 for a date is too much.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/17 08:51 PM
6

It's about what kind of woman the guy wants. If a guy wants a woman who is more traditional at home, will be a housewife, has a low n-count, then he will need to wait longer because there's a reason why she has a low n-count, and a woman doesn't keep a low n-count by having sex on the first 2 dates.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/17 08:48 PM
9

If he's upset about paying $5 for a coffee I honestly don't know why he's dating. If he finds her not even worth a 5 dollar coffee then he really shouldn't date her. I understand if he's upset about a $100 lobster dinner or something, but a $5 coffee?

I think that both extremes aren't a good choice. The best is to find a guy who can both give and receive. Sharing finances is one part of family in my set of values, so it's important to me that both parties in a marriage are willing to do so.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/17 07:20 PM
5

But the question is why is he paying for a woman he doesn't love?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/17 07:16 PM
11

Your 1 and 2 contradict each other as the OP pointed out. If you marry a woman who doesn't make money, of course you're paying most of the time. Meanwhile if you married a woman who makes money then you can share the bills. The women who dont need men's money are the women with careers of their own.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/17 07:15 PM

I think she's talking about the RP men who would complain about paying for everything, but yet when asked they say "I don't care how much money she makes".
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/17 07:15 PM

Being strong and confident doesn't mean being a violent abuser. The correlation is rather weak and it's not a causal relationship. However, if you marry someone who makes no money, of course you're going to be paying for everything, it's a direct causation.

How is he saying that it's not women's fault? TRP requires people to become someone else, which isn't easy to maintain for a long term. If someone is naturally introverted, they could be extroverted for a 2 hour party but more than that becomes tiring. It's not easy to turn oneself into a different person for a long period of time. TRP also targets women who aren't really quality women. Most of the women who fall for TRP methods are quite basic.

Yeah so women will find that loud, obnoxious, narcissistic alpha male with the childlike sense of humour as ridiculous and repulsive as I do? Depends on whether guys think he's "loud, obnoxious and narcissistic" because of jealousy or whether he really is obnoxious and narcissistic. People generally don't like obnoxious people.

Well if they're not your mom or your sister, it's not their job to tell you the bad truth. That ruins friendships. It's the family's job to tell you the ugly side of the truth.

What forms of oppression do women (in modern times or middle ages) face that can't be avoided simply by being powerful enough? The queens who are judged on their sexual history. How Elizabeth had to convince everyone she was a virgin. How she was constantly pressured to marry.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/17 04:22 PM

Like, if you say that men are oppressed not for being men, but for being poor, because if they were rich, they would avoid it, how is not the same true for women? Not some things. Things like sexual double standards for example. Rich circles have plenty of those.

Value is subjective. To a guy who wants a virgin, virgins are higher value. To a guy who wants someone with experience, someone with experience is higher value. To someone who doesn't care, they're the same value.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/17 08:57 PM
3

Value is from perspectives. To a guy who wants a virgin, a virgin is higher value. That's why it's hypocritical for him to want a virgin when he's slept around.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/17 08:53 PM
3

Well, he's basically expecting her to give him her time by expecting her to wait for him.

He's holding himself to a different set of standards than his partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/17 08:48 PM
3

If he gets his virgin wife and they're good together that's great for him Agree, but 90% of the cases don't work out that way. Usually either he ends up disappointed when his perception of virgins (don't know bad sex, submissive, altruistic to the point of doormat) are proven wrong, or she ends up disappointed when she feels like she missed out on sowing her wild oats, or she notices that he has a warped perception of people based on their sexual history.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/17 08:47 PM
4

It's often not the cause, but a symptom of the same cause - someone who wants a partner who's willing to give more than he himself is willing to give. He wants her to wait for him, but he won't wait for her. Going by PPD users, most of those are the same guys who want their wives to accommodate him while he sees every request his wife makes as a shit test.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/17 07:23 PM
2

What's selfish is wanting someone who has a different history than yours, specifically a slut wanting a virgin, specifically a man slut wanting a female virgin. Virgin who specifically wants to date someone promiscuous is usually a red flag too, many times it's because the virgin thinks that promiscuous = down for porn star sex and DTF all the time, and that leads to disappointment when he finds out that promiscuous people aren't DTF 24/7
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/17 07:21 PM
2

Why do you all make the argument that virgins are no different than sluts but then go on to say it's hypocrisy if a guy who has slept around wants to marry a virgin? He's basically saying that he wants his partner to wait for him, but he isn't willing to wait for her.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/17 07:18 PM

That's fine then, you can date someone who shares similar values if you want. You're not the hypocrites that we're talking about.

As I said, in my 3 above posts, because of a bunch of reasons. 1) Men who slept around and desire a virgin wife usually do it because of a fallacy that he believes in, like that virgins can't tell bad sex or that virgins are more submissive (both of these are not necessarily true). There's not many based in reality reasons to specifically prefer someone who has a different set of sexual values (most people prefer either same values or don't care), and yes, virgins who want an experienced partner…

They are, others are also free to wonder why they would want someone who are so different from themselves, especially since it's almost always due to a fallacy. Because why should you judge someone for their sexual history if you're not dating them and don't have anything to do with them? "You do you" is the motto of the 21st century, as long as you don't harm anyone, do whatever you want to do. Do you not see the difference between someone who slept with the whole town saying "I want a virgin partner" and someone who saved himself for marriage saying "I…

I'm not saying it doesn't happen at all but generally men oppressed for being men isn't a common occurrence. For example, when I've debated with many people on PPD about the fact that women were oppressed in the middle ages, they would say "men are oppressed too, look at peasants and serfs". They're not oppressed for being men, they're oppressed for being poor (which is a different issue, but also an issue that needs to be fixed).

It's like cheaters try to excuse their cheating by saying "I love my partner, I'm not a bad person" regardless of their gender.

Women live longer so their average age is older. Better looking, not really. I'd say they're both 50th percentile for their respective ages, just that the woman is older.

My point is that male sexual strategy happens to coincide with things that make him successful in life overall (good job, rich, high status) while women's don't really. That means that even if a man doesn't get rich or high status enough to become a playboy, and that's his only goal in life (to be a playboy), he at least has the consolation prize of being able to live in a nice neighborhood with a good house and a good job. If a woman doesn't get pretty enough to marry the guy of her dreams, and…

I'm not asking men to be into 40+ women, I'm not asking anyone to be attracted to anyone they don't want to be. I just ask that people be honest about it. If you're only attracted to 5% of the population, then say so, don't pretend you're into 70% of the population and then make up a lot of narrow guidelines of who counts and who doesn't.

/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/17 07:16 PM

Because it's normal for people to look at porn and have fantasies. It's not entirely normal to go to a prostitute and may signal a few things like lack of sexual self-control, a dangerous (in terms of potential STDs) lifestyle, also people who visit hookers are often seen as playboys who don't want to settle down into a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/17 07:15 PM

I don't think women have anything against porn or prostitution as long as they're not the one doing it and that their guy is not the one in the porn video or going to a prostitute. The ones who do are mostly religious and against both.

You can be angry for a while, but if you're 20 something or older like most redpillers here are, it's about time to grow out of it. I didn't have the most wonderful experience in life, and I used to be upset about it. And then I grew up and realized that I'm the only one who can actually make my life what I want it to be, and being a bitter person hurts my chances of improving my experience.

Average guys will get not a lot of people on Tinder, but most people wouldn't hate him either. Meanwhile if someone posted KKK stuff on Tinder, they might get matched with women who also have the same racist views, but 90% of the women who aren't racist who look at his profile will despise him. And being despised by 90% of good women to be attractive to 10% of bitches isn't a good thing at all, so idk why you're talking about it like it's a good thing.

I'm not saying that objectification of labor is a good thing for a society, but at least in the current (capitalist) world, it has a chance of helping individuals succeed. Sure submissiveness wont help but if you think being a sexually appealing woman won't do wonders for you career you are out of your mind. How is being a "success object" a bad thing? If anything being a "success object" means that you're encouraged to do well, and nurture traits that help you succeed in your life and your job. Besides, who doesn't want a good job and money? Meanwhile being a sex object is the opposite, since a lot of "sex object traits" aren't actually conductive to success in any job besides maybe prostitution (which isn't a job most women want) and doesn't grant women a better life for themselves.

If redpill truly made men into someone that women like, then women would be like "go, go to the redpill please" to their husbands. Yet most wives would not like to hear about their husbands on trp.

Go and be dominant, women like that. Don’t just try to fake that. But if the guy is naturally not dominant then he's faking it, he's being a fake self.

Only 25% of women are at a healthy weight? That's disconcerting. 73% are overweight so about 27%. If you count out the underweight women it's probably even less. This is all subjective It's statistics. But if a guy says "I want a healthy weight woman who has the type of face I like and has boobs/butt and isn't a stick figure" that's already about 5% of the female population.

I agree, I was mostly talking about a western point of view when I was talking about how guys prefer women who look mid 20s but are actually 18 rather than someone who actually looks 18. Western men overall tend to prefer a "sexy"/more mature look over a "cute" look. Asia is the other way around, many men prefer women who are in their 20s but look 18. Though I think as Asian media is getting "sexier" more men are beginning to like that look too. I think overall the difference is still that weste…

Simple. As long as men are more thirsty than women, then men will have to change. If a woman is fine being single until she meets Mr. Perfect, then why would she need to change? If the man is not fine with being single and really needs a woman, then he has to change to get one.

I think everyone settles a bit. Love is the glue that keeps couples together despite each of them knowing the other's flaws.

If a woman was desperate for a guy then she needs to change. However men are more thirsty than women while women don't mind being single for a few years. The ones who are more thirsty should adapt. Think about it this way. You have to get to work, your car broke down. You call someone to help you fix it. You need it, they don't, so they can afford to charge more for it.

she thinks your the best man she's ever going to get If this is a requirement, then 95% of men will stay single forever. Do you think women don't know that Chris Hemsworth is probably hotter than their average Joe husband? But they stay with the average Joe because they love him, and many women wouldn't leave him for Chris Hemsworth because of that love. It doesn't mean they're blind to the fact that he's hotter though.

A lot of this is fantasy Find you physically attractive to the point of actual lust This often dies down after the honeymoon phase, most married couples that stay together for long times become familial in terms of love. Also, when things happen like the need to raise kids or manage finances, most married couples sex lives take a hit, and most of the time it's normal. It doesn't, but she's saying that women can tell. There's just that 1 e sound that you're pronouncing like an english e sound because you're saying it a bit too long, and it's hard to pinpoint but a native speaker can just hear it. That's the way it is with dating.

I would say that guys prefer women in their 20's to early 30's who could pass for 18. I think it's the opposite, guys prefer women who are 18 but can pass for mid 20s in terms of looks. But guys don't really like women who actually look 18. It's just that in movies most women who play 18 year olds are in their 20s so they think that's how 18 year olds look.

For those saying there's no such thing as naturals, think of it as being a native speaker of a language vs not being a native speaker of a language. What if the guy doesn't have the mental capacity? Is it rape only for women? If 1 person is sober (or relatively capable of making decisions) when the other one is drunk enough to be legally considered unable to consent, then the soberer one is the rapist, but I'm not a lawyer so I don't really know technically how it works in the law.

Well, sure of course every little bit helps, but I think that judging from the OPs description, he sounds like he has another issue that's a bigger problem for him at the moment that he should fix that would help a lot more than just lifting or improving looks. His looks in the description aren't so bad so I wonder if personality is a bigger issue there. If his personality is the issue, then he can lift, work out and become Brad Pitt but he still won't get a date (or keep one even if he gets one…

Judging from the OP's description of him, his appearance isn't his problem. I've seen plenty of guys with those appearances who don't have trouble getting laid. Sure, he could improve his appearance, but that's not going to get him girls if he doesn't fix the other problems that are more likely to be the reason why he doesn't get laid. It seems to be more about how he interacts with women, his personality or self esteem that seem to be the biggest issue here.

do we only hold the criminals accountable when they have practically offered themselves to the bad guys? legally yes morally too, your friend didn't do anything immoral by walking on an unsafe street it might be dumb, but the criminal is 100% at fault
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/17 02:52 AM
1

No, it's like getting hit by a drunk driver while you were walking on the street, following the law on the crosswalk and minding your own business, but you saw the car coming and didn't know he was a drunk driver and thought he would stop because you're a pedestrian on the crosswalk and the law says he should stop. The girl is 100% legally and morally in the right here. She may have acted naively but the legal and moral fault is all on the rapist.

Boyos, how many Skittles would you eat from a dish where five percent were poisoned? I think this is a bad way to look at things, and it would lead to misandry. I think that vetting people before going to their house is important, but once the vetting is done, being trustful is better than being suspicious of everyone.

She would get drunk with single guys and then have sex with them. Next day details would be hazy because she blacks out, and she would make up that she was raped. black out drunk seems to mean she doesn't have the mental capacity to consent under laws of many states, so it would indeed be rape in that case

No, women just have (on average) a lower tolerance for mess than men. There are some exceptions (I don't mind not cleaning everyday) but it seems to be the case in my family. My mom is a neat freak and my dad really doesn't care, for example.

chances are it's not because of their looks but because of their behavior or personality tbh I know people with those looks who do fine, and others who don't, and the main difference is behavior, personality and how they interact with women

Honestly if that hypothetical guy is a virgin, it's probably because he wants to be one. You basically listed a guy who doesn't have any major flaws. His looks are fine. If he's definitely an incel and not a volcel, since you didn't mention personality, I'd wonder maybe that's the reason? And I'd try to help him on that.

Just be yourself = you don't have to hide who you are, you find someone who connects to the real you. instead of focusing on creating an image of alpha jock regardless of what your actual hobbies are like TRP does, TBP says that you should try to be the best you but still be you. TBP also focuses more on personality than TRP.

No offense but I see the "looks are the only thing that matter" crowd to be a bunch of defeatism and self sabotage. While good looks makes better chances, the "looks are the only things that matter" typically use that belief as a way to say "I don't need to try" when people try to give them advice and help them. "People call me creepy because I'm not attractive" when it's because he acts really uncomfortable around women and creates a weird sense. "It's just my face, I can't do anything about it…

Your dad is right. You can't turn a naturally shy kid into Donald Trump, and you really shouldn't want to. Donald Trump is mostly known outside of TRP and alt right circles as an example of someone who has a shitty personality. You should teach him to be more confident but not to be Donald Trump. Anyways, I don't want kids, so I can't really answer about how it changed my mind about parenting. Seeing TRP posters made me a bit more pessimistic about some people here's ability as parents tbh. Put on your big boy pants and admit the truth: you select less ideal men for a reason. Some men are good for looking but not good for actually dating/interacting. As I mentioned in my OP, if a man is super fit chances are that he goes to the gym a lot, and he'd probably expect his partner to also go to the gym a lot and maintain her shape. I don't have time to go to the gym a lot. Dating should be when I can finally relax and not have to work super hard on everything rather than having to work h…

people are judgmental if he's average and shes hot some people might assume shes a hooker or an escort I could say the same shit if the wing was ugly. "He's with an ugly hoe so he obviously can't hang with hotter women which means he's low value and therefore I ain't fucking him" someone between 1-2 points of the guy's rating is the best
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/17 07:39 PM

Have you ever heard the phrase "got a bad bitch but he lookin like a trash homie". An average guy + hot girl makes him look even worse in comparison because it's obvious he's not in her league. And if she wingwomans for him sometimes women will wonder "ah, she's wingwomaning for him and introducing him to other women because she's trying to get rid of his advances". And that's not the worst. Many will just assume she's a hooker or an escort. People are judgmental.

Therein lies your mistake. You are thinking of men like women. Men who look like models aren't going to leave you just because they "could do better." If an attractive man has given you commitment, it means he's thought through this and believes you bring soft skills into the relationship that make you the "it" girl for him. Well my CMV isn't about what would happen in real, but what people think of when they pick their date, and women think this way whether they're right or wrong about men. Btw…

I'm not worried, sometimes it's just not worth it. I don't want to spend 3 hours on my hair and makeup everyday because I'm dating a male model. He cares about this thing, I don't. That's a non-match there in the things we value about ourselves and each other.

A woman would never reject a guy whom she believes is a 10/10 in favor of a guy who she believes is 6/10 in looks. Just the same way she would not reject a taller man over a shorter man if she genuinely likes tall men and likes look at them. I would. Dating a 10/10 is intimidating and as someone who spends moderate but not insane effort on my look, I don't want to feel pressure to have to spend insane effort on my looks. This shaming behavior only works on men who possess a conscience anyway, you aren't going to prevent a psychopath from not using violence against you if he thinks that that will get him what he wants, a psychopath does not rely on others in any way for their opinion of themselves, no but having a reputation hurts their success so they'll care. Having a reputation for lashing out can make someone not be a good candidate for hiring.

You couldn't exactly "swipe left" on someone who's right in front of you without appearing rude and snobbish. yeah you can just choose to not date him When you go out you see like 50 different guys, you don't get to date all of them, you have to make these judgments from first impressions to save you time. You might swipe left on 49 of them and ask 1 of them out. Again, basing a person's entire worth on their appearance isn't a good or accurate standard to use. Of course, but it's the first impr…

Matching is a sign that our styles have something in common. It's a big part of attraction to me, and also that we have some similar interests (ie someone who wears rockband tshirts vs someone who wears anime tshirts probably have different interests). /r/PurplePillDebate28/09/17 09:28 PM

No but it has something to do with compatibility most of the time. The way you look is the way you present yourself and what you value in yourself. Your clothes, shoes, they're all a statement of who you are. How fit you are is a statement of how much you value fitness. Height is a different issue, it's just weird to have to keep turning my head up to be able to see his face.

Sometimes, TRPers get into relationships with high-libido, masculine women, and then try to get them to become submissive in BDSM clubs there are some high libido subs, but those will usually be sex-positive feminists so TRP probably doesn't like them either
