Yup cherish that bomb and drop it when the divorce is over, fuck cheaters. The wife deserves to know.

Yup, I'll never go against my gut again. There were red flags and I knew it, but her words eased my suspicion while she betrayed me.

We've never shared real time location, tracker is unlikely but possible I guess. She most likely either just saw me while drive through or someone told her where I work. I initiated the divorce legally, we're now in a bitter court battle due to her lies and betrayal. We've never had any issues with me being unfaithful or anything like that and I'm not really seeing anyone, the opposite actually, she's the one who cheated and is now fucking with mutual friends of ours.

That's true, but she was obviously not there for any reason other than to spy or bother me, I'm just trying to understand what her motive may be so I can prepare for it if it's a legal one.

Even if you think it's going to be amicable, act as if it will NOT be amicable and get a lawyer now. Trust me, your wife is now your enemy whether you like it or not and she is not above deceit. This divorce can go from amicable to full on trench warfare in a second, so be prepared for that now. My wife was "amicable" until she wasn't, she went back on every thing we "agreed" on once she felt slighted by me. Good luck.

Red pill stuff is usually pessimistic/depressing but that link you posted actually has some solid advice and has a positive outlook based on reality. It's scary how accurate those stages are, I went through every bit of it and I was devastated. I'm the type of guy who isn't going to fight for a woman's love in most cases, if she doesn't like me she can just leave. But that post helped me get some positivity while remaining aware of what actually happened.

I just wanna say one thing: Fuck women who criticize their partner for WORKING too much. If you're working to improve your families circumstances, wealth, and future, you are doing the right thing! And for one thing, it's almost always cheaters who say "You were too focused on work." Cheaters will ALWAYS find a way to "justify" their cheating. If they stoop to complaining about you working too much, it just shows you were doing the right things and that's the best excuse she could come up with. …

I wouldn't give her any money until an agreement is signed and it goes through to her legally. I made the mistake of splitting money down the middle with my wife when we first separated before agreements were finalized. Now she's gone back on everything and is trying to get more, if she really wants to be a bitch she can claim I never gave her the money even though I did. Don't make the same mistake I did. Keep your money until you've both agreed to something and it is finalized, then send it to…

I don't have time to read your whole post (sorry) but I skimmed through and saw you're having sex with the possibility of a second baby? Whatever you do, don't do that!!!! lol, there's a high chance you're going to divorce soon, and the more babies in the mix the harder it gets. Do NOT get her pregnant again!

It's one of two things IMO: She's testing to see how much influence she still has over you, testing to see if you'll still do shit for her/still fawn over her. My stbxw did this one big time and I fell into it hard and got fucked up for it. Or two, the new relationship isn't working out how she liked and now she's trying to wiggle her way back into the marriage. Basically, the grass wasn't greener on the other side and she's trying to go back to you as a plan B. It's one of those two, the best t…

Well she did until her reputation was at stake, now she's trying to get custody, less than 50/50 but still, it won't last. She wants him just long enough to take some smiling pictures for Facebook.

Same happened to me but I was still naive enough to believe they were just friends she was living with lol. She moved in with them the very night we separated, shit hurt like hell. I wish you the best of luck sir.

I am lmfao at the idea that the dude my wife cheated with is more masculine than me. He's worse in every way, except that he is an extreme pushover who will support her every shitty action (like abandoning her kid). She left because I gave her an ultimatum about her child abuse. People are ignorant, men and women, they don't always chose a partner or cheat based on some "masculinity" factor. Lmfao

I love pre-nups! At this point I don't believe in marriage really, if you love someone and want to spend your life with them, just be a couple. You don't have to get married.

Yup this is shockingly similar to my story. My wife cheated and basically abandoned everything including our kid, she didn't even fight for any of our assets. I believe it's called the "affair fog", where they get so wrapped up in the exciting affair that they lose sight of everything else, they think they don't need it since they think their new life is so amazing. That being said, she got angry at me about 2 months in and is trying to go back on all of our agreements, so I'm having to fight th…

You need to plan your exit now, she sounds dangerous. Start talking to a lawyer and see if it's legal to secretly audio record her in your area. If it is I'd get her crazy shit recorded to use in court. I hope you domt have kids together, best of luck to you and stay strong. You will defeat this experience you've endured.
/r/Divorce_Men22/11/21 03:36 PM

Many times cheaters will look for any excuse to leave without having blame on themselves. This is a prime example of that, its purely manipulation for personal gain. Im sorry you had to experience that but at least you know the truth now, best of luck on your healing journey!

Yes, the hardest part for me has been the emotional toll of losing the love of my life and her abandoning our son. It has been nearly unbearable, i couldn't imagine losing my son in that process as well. I wish you the best of luck. Are you the person from the video?

Seems like you dont love this woman at all, nothing wrong with that but dont be confused. Marriage is for when you find true love, you will know it when you experience it but be careful for red flags. If you want a gf who is basically a FWB there's nothing wrong with that, but just be careful not to get her pregnant! Just look inward and ask yoursekf what YOU want from a partner and roll with that and communicate it to her, don't worry about marriage yet.
/r/Divorce_Men13/11/21 06:55 AM

I ask myself the same thing a lot. "How could she want this?" But I affirm myself that I am not a bad person, I provided for her and I supported her along with my family. She decided she would give all of that up just to play 2nd wife with a married couple. Many people do not act rationally, I never thought my wife would act this insane, but she is. You could be the best man in the world and give them everything, and there are many people out there who would still leave you. It's not a testament…

You're in an advantage position to be planning your exit ahead of time, however she may be/have already done the same. Don't let her know you're planning divorce, I wouldn't mention it. I would get a lawyer asap and begin making an exit plan. Talk with your lawyer about these concerns and they can help you get the best of the divorce. I would make an exit plan even if you want to attempt to repair/continue the marriage, that way if it comes down to it you have a plan, it's up to you whether you …

He's too young for that imo but not much you can do if she's not able to be convinced. My stbxw wants to teach our son that poly relationships are normal, healthy, and no different than a regular couple even in childcare situations. Thank God I have full custody so he won't hear that tripe. People can do whatever they want no matter how stupid, but keep your damn kids out of it.

What you're doing will help you a lot in court if it comes to that! She has indeed checked out, it's unbelievable to witness knowing it's physically the same woman I grew up with and started a family with, but mentally she's completely the opposite.

Thankfully my wife basically had a "fuck it all" attitude when she left me. Its what the call the "affair fog", some people who cheat are fogged by their new excitement and therefore think they dont need anything from their old life. My wife signed away the house, car, custody, everything because she is so caught up in being with her new poly family she hasn't looked back. It was emotionally devastating, but realistically I made the right plans at the right time and I saved my life and my kid be…

You're right this is incredibly common. I've done a lot of reading on BPD (and other cluster B personality disorders) and splitting is one of their big traits, basically rewriting the entire history of the relationship in a negative light once they've decided they don't like/love you anymore. So I'm wondering, is "splitting" something non-cluster B people do commonly as well? Or are Cluster B disorders just that common?

I put everything that screams "her" to me in a box, including pictures and old sentimental gifts and put it in the basement. I am a very sentimental person and I'm always reliving/reassessing the past (for better or worse), so I figured I'd better not get rid of them. On the other hand, my stbx said she would burn the gifts and sentimental stuff I gave her over the years. Go figure.

Right there with you, my stbx left me and 6 weeks later is with a trusted friend, 2 of them actually (yup it's batshit). She kissed them in front of me to break the news. Doesn't get much more spiteful than that. The anger is unreal, I understand. I walked around the house and just threw shit, cried on the ground, screamed at the top of my lungs. But then the next day when I woke up, my outlook had suddenly changed. Suddenly I didn't care about her. I still get jealous, angry, and depressed, but…

I feel your words man and i understand the part about thinking of her in another man's bed. Im in the same spot, she moved in with the "friend" I was afraid she was cheating with before. Well now they're openly together 2 months later. It is gutwrenching knowing I'm lonely and depressed while she's being loved and pampered by another, 2 others actually (yup it's complicated). But one thing i do know is that her affair fog will fade one day and she will realize what she's lost. For now all I can …

I'm in the same position except 2 months instead of 3. Recently discovered my wife is with the person I suspected she was cheating with, they kissed in front of me on purpose to hurt me. It's the worst nightmare I could imagine and im living it, and stuck with it in a sense because we have a kid together. But I did get a bit of inspiration out of it after the intense anger/depression subsided last night. I thought "this is my worst nightmare. If i can make it out of my worst nightmare, i can do …

Not sure what you mean? You can legally divorce somebody even if they can't afford a lawyer. She doesn't have one atm, I've been handling everything and she's been accepting of it all because she's in affair fog. I've made small concessions because I do still care about her but nothing major at all.
/r/Divorce_Men23/10/21 03:37 AM

She moved in with her emotional affair partners from day 1 of seperation, she's being pampered by them but she's in the fog it won't last.
/r/Divorce_Men23/10/21 01:05 AM

My stbx did the same thing. For her it's because she doesn't want to pay for it (she's broke living off her friends), and also she's in an extreme selfish short sighted episode after she left, so she literally hasnt done anything but hang out with friends since we seperated. I didn't even want the divorce but im the one handling the lawyer/paperwork, child care, and all other business matters.

It's probably too late but do not make promises with an ex, it just creates an avenue for them to hurt you once again. Your ex probably feels like they owe you no respect, otherwise they wouldn't have called it quits on the relationship. I struggle with this myself to this day, best of luck.

So sorry to hear how your child is struggling, I can only hope mine turns out unaffected by my stbxw. He's too young to understand but she is living a life I hope he never has to see. Best of luck sir to you and your daughter.

Makes sense, the way you tell your story is similar to my stbx's. On the other side, it just hurts like hell knowing no matter how much you genuinely change, the damage is done and you can't fix the relationship. Best of luck to you.

I know this is a couple of weeks old but it is scary how similar our stories are. Only difference is I have a kid and I haven't confirned a physical affair, though there was 100% an emotional affair. My wife said the same things. Hang in there brother, you have friends in unexpected places.

I'm right there with you, the dread of seeing your ex with someone new is so difficult to cope with. I don't think mine is dating yet but logically I know she will and she will fuck another guy, probably multiple, it's just part of being a single adult. My ape brain can't stop internally raging about the inevitable.

I'm right there with you, stay strong man. You and I made the mistake of reaching out to our stbx's as a support system and it burned us. For the other people out their reading, it's hard as hell but don't make the same mistake we did. You gotta cut the stbx off as your support system, they aren't that loving partner you thought they were anymore and venting your problems/feelings to them just gives them another avenue to hurt you or reject you. Find another support system wherever you can, ther…

I feel this. Now when I see my wife it's kind of like brain fog. I'm like who is this person? She looks a lot like the woman I loved but she's like an evil twin. It's a mind fuck.

1

Damn man that is rough to hear, I'm sorry you're going through this. I'm still in the divorce journey myself but from what I've read from a lot of sources is, when a person leaves a marriage due to an affair or just to fuck around and live the "free" life, it almost always has a spiral down period for them. They call it the "fog", it's where your spouse leaves and seems happy/carefree/remorseless because they think they're getting everything they wanted, but once they get out of that fog it hits…

I'm not entirely sure. I got a ballpark # of 750$, but that seems kinda cheap right? It's been a couple of weeks since I consulted and they're just now starting on drafting it up, not sure how long it'll take.

I wonder the same thing, if the judge had common sense it wouldn't be an issue. But I guess she could posit that I had the dating app before we separated and was cheating or something? That would be a lie of course, but idk just making up scenarios.

In the process. Currently in seperation.

I would say so. The term codependent kinda confuses me from what I've read, but I will say is I was 100% dependent on her for a lot of things I should have been able to do myself. I'm working now to gain that independence I should have had from the start. We started dating in high school, so yes I skipped a lot of those phases where I should have learned to take care of myself.

Thanks for this. She's shown herself to be totally unreliable, even just for 2 days a week. I will have to find other arrangements to manage my time, because she won't be reliable enough. I'm still in that process of trying to stop worrying about her and her bad decisions, she doesn't give a shit about me ever since the day she left, so I should feel the same way towards her.
