Know your own value man? If she doesn't want to be with you and you're easily replaced by another man...why would you want her? What you're speaking towards is ego based. "She was mine, now someone else is banging my property". Kill the ego and work on improving yourself + time = better you.

Let me tell you that it has been 56 days since my wife of 15 years abandon me and our two boys 12 and 5 to go have an affair and move in with someone I thought was a friend. Someone whom I'd done multiple favors for, dog sat his dog 5 days a week, watched his kid. I wake up either crying every morning or ready to put my fist through something. The only thing keeping me from killing this man is my kids. I have to be smart, document, do paperwork and prepare for the battle that lies ahead so my kids stay with me. Stay in the one home they've ever known and not end up in the hands and care of two vile narcissists. I've heard time heals blah blah but all in all I still want and need my wife back But I also realize that it's not gonna happen. So I utilize my sadness and anger and turn it into fuel of motivation to save the lives of these boys and to instill proper morals and judgment. It's been the hardest two months of my life. And the most lonely. I miss making love to my wife and it makes me physically sick to envision her getting fucked by this piece of shit. But in the end I know God will be the one to judge them both. N

Don’t compare your chapter #1 to someone else’s chapter #20. Likely she’d already moved in mentality well before you even knew your marriage was in trouble.

You’re going to be fine and you’re going to get where you need to be. It doesn’t just happen though - you’ll need to work on it!

You just keep Puttin’ one foot in front of the other. Being happy is a choice, so you might have to take it for a while. Just wake up and choose to smile that day and choose to be happy. It’ll be hard, But we wake up every day and go to work and we make THAT choice even though it might not be easy every single day..

Then one day you won’t even remember the pain. You’ll remember hopefully the good and the lessons / life experience you gained during that time, but all of that you just take with you into the next chapter ….
