All snark no substance, Boring
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 08:57 PM

That's cool for them. My girlfriend is definitely "mine". Not in the sense that I legally own and control her, but in the sense that if she behaves in a way that doesnt demonstrate undying loyalty to me, shes instantly gone.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 08:24 PM

And a dumped my last girlfriend because I realized she enjoyed dressing wearing revealing clothing and going out to parties without me. She even admitted during sex that she liked the attention and wanted me to "degrade" her for it. No amount of women pleading that it's "for them" will erase the visceral experience of my girlfriend admitting this directly to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 07:46 PM

I think it's messed up that your partner wants to incite reproductive jealousy in other men. That's the type of thing that men have killed for in the past.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 07:34 PM

Guess what? Men do this too, at least some of us. When I step out of the shower, freshly shaved, especially after a workout, I love staring at myself in the mirror. I think I look handsome. So on that level I can understand what you are talking about BUT I only feel handsome because I have an idea of what "handsome" looks like: lean muscle mass, sharp jaw line, well groomed facial hair, piercing eyes. I only know what looks attractive from having seen examples of what millions and millions of ot…
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 07:22 PM

Most of the 30-40 year olds on this subreddit seem to be none the wiser than us 20 somethings. A lot of lingering emotional trauma, failed relationships, bitterness towards the other gender, and an insistence that men and women are the same and should adhere to the same standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 07:17 PM

Do you dislike your father?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 07:14 PM

Guys don't get horny from hair and makeup. They get horny from tits and ass. I'm talking about clothing that emphasizes the latter. Im sure you do enjoy looking in the mirror for yourself, in the same way that I enjoy looking in the mirror when my face is nicely groomed. But I doubt you are wearing little black see thru dresses and stockings to chill at home
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 07:00 PM

There's a distinct yet subtle difference between between what you find attractive vs what you find sexy. A cute, quiet girl who has a natural look and dresses modestly is the most attractive archetype to me. It's the aesthetic I find most appealing overall. But my dick doesn't get hard when I see this. I might get hornier if I see a girl dressed in slutty clothes, but overall I find this less attractive than the more modest girl. I would be much more likely to date or pursue the first girl, even…
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 06:54 PM

No are you?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 06:51 PM

Just curious, why do you consider this a superior alternative to a woman who dresses sexy at home but modestly outside? What do you get from showing her off?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 06:51 PM

What do you mean? A handful of women in this thread agree with me, on top of the majority of men. The majority of women are opposed to my views, but thats what I expected would happen. Luckily, something is not judged on its correctness by the amount of people who agree with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 06:49 PM

Very typical of this sub. I have already been labelled as misogynist, toddler and a fool. I did not even think my post was particularly inflammatory.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 06:47 PM

It depends on what the guy's doing. A lot of guys DO make stylistic choices to impress women you see lately a lot of guys try to adopt the "fboy" aesthetic with the eyebrow slit, black nail polish and cross earrings. Guys didnt commonly look like that 10 years ago. It became a popular look because its the aesthetic the majority of women on tiktok and social media found attractive 5 years ago, and guys have adapted as a result. Even the famous tiktok perm haircut wasnt commonplace 5 years ago. Al…
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 06:44 PM

Exactly. And I get a massive ego boost anytime a hot chick matches with me on Tinder. Both genders get a confidence buff when attractive members of the opposite sex show you some sort of appreciation.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 06:40 PM

With your mindset, I would be best suited as a misogynist. Life is a power acquisition right? Since women are easier to control over men, being misogynistic and taking advantage of women would accrue me as much power as possible
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 06:38 PM

What if I told you that I think rapists should be beaten to death, but simultaneously I still think women should dress modestly?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 06:34 PM

I have made over 50 replies in this thread of over 300. Be more specific
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 06:32 PM

What about attractive women who don't seek attention? Why do you even correlate the two qualities, attention seeking and attractiveness?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 06:32 PM

That's a very rare exception that I will concede on. I imagine when pole dancing women like to dress like strippers to imitate the full experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 06:31 PM

For the majority of people I agree. I personally consider it cheating.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 06:30 PM

This isn't narcissism lad. This took hard work in therapy to finally get here. It sounds like you are trying to overcorrect years of low confidence with an overabundance of pride. Which is fine but making statements like "i am hot af, gorgeous, delicious!" makes you seem very narcissistic. If you don't care how you come across on the internet, then you can safely ignore me. For what its worth Im sorry about your dad, for me my "bad parent" was my mom and it definitely impacts my view on women to…
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 06:29 PM

Did I say anything about dating apps or men being exploited in my post?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 06:18 PM

1)…. How is this a debate? You’ve had women tell their reasons (and gasp! Would you believe that they all have different reasons! Some for men. Some for themselves. Some for their friends) and you’ve patently ignored them. So if you ignore everything women say, then how can we debate you? You clearly have the mind of a toddler. And everything is for you and you alone are correct. So no debating will make a squat bit of difference nor happen. First, I did not ignore any woman's opinion. There is …
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 06:15 PM

I appreciate your reply, especially as a woman who doesn't agree with most red pill philosophy. A lot of women have parroted in this thread that they receive the same amount of attention regardless of whether or not they wear something sexy or something modest. Do you agree with these ladies or do you think they are exaggerating this claim?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 06:10 PM

It's difficult to have a rational conversation with someone when they begin the first two sentences insulting you. Do you wanna rewrite it in a more neutral way rather than calling me a fool or accusing me of misogyny?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 06:07 PM

No I am definitely receiving hostility. Not direct hostility, but the passive aggressive "umm who do you think you are dude?" type of hostility. It's very easy to read tone through text. It's easy to tell I've rubbed a lot of women the wrong way with this post by the manner in which they convey themselves. Everything is relative. If you had never received a compliment from a man in your life, and suddenly Drake was hitting on you, it would feel like gold. in the same way if you never had Mcdonal…
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 06:04 PM

Let me reiterate. When I say "for men" I am NOT talking about me specifically it could just be the top 5-10 best looking dudes in a club who a woman is trying to look sexy for. And even then, it doesnt explicitly mean shes trying to fuck or date any of them. It can literally be just for the ego boost that people universally get from attractive people hitting on them.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 05:58 PM

You sound like a sociopath
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 05:56 PM

This isn't meant to be derogatory, but your partner sounds like a cuck. It would be one thing if he wanted you to dress sexier for him. The fact that he explicitly wants you to look sexy in front of other guys is a little strange to me. Saying it's to make other guys jealous sounds like a cope to me. When I see a guy with a girlfriend who dresses provocatively or does OnlyFans my reaction is never "damn bros lucky he found a baddie" it's more like "poor guy doesnt know what hes getting into"
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 05:55 PM

How many countries in the Middle East have you personally travelled to?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 05:51 PM

I'm not worried about "getting dumped". Being single is better than being in a relationship with a woman who doesn't listen to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 05:50 PM

what does that mean exactly You are uncomfortable with men finding you attractive? you are shy? or you are worried men might judge your body?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 05:49 PM

Where
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 05:48 PM

They're competing for the attention of the most attractive men.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 05:48 PM

You sound very narcissistic. You also have clearly had one or several bad relationships in the past, and now harbour resentment for men in general.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 05:48 PM

I have to admit, I'm somewhat surprised at the hostility women are responding to this post with. You all seem to be responding with some variation of "This guy thinks I dress myself for him? How dare he! I do things for myself and my happiness only. I don't care what men think of me!" This isn't a male ego thing. I never said women dress "for me"; when I see a woman in a sexy dress I don't think "wow she wore that sexy outfit just for me" I'm literally just saying women sometimes enjoy the atten…
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 05:46 PM

Again why do you care? I care because if I'm committed to a girl, she shouldn't chase after the attention of other men. She should only want to look sexy for me (and herself if that's important to her)
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 05:39 PM

Having worn a hijab for six months, YES, they do. They absolutely fucking do. The exact same kind of attention. Men are men are men are men. It was never more respectful or more respectful of boundaries. It was exactly the same as when I've got on booty shorts and a summer tank top. I actually got way more attention from dudes. I need more details. Are you Muslim? What country are you from, what ethnicity are you? It seems extremely weird that a Western woman would suddenly pick up a hijab for 6…
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 05:36 PM

How about we upload our tinder screenshots, and see which one of us has the most/hottest matches?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 05:29 PM

Ofc women wear clothes that are appealing to men, it's just that it may not be on a conscious level You are correct. It is subconscious for most women. Most women don't consciously dress with the mindset of "let me dress sexy so I can seduce a guy" and so they dismiss the entirety of the post. In their minds they are just wearing these things to "feel good" but they don't look at the underlying reasons why they feel good. It's because at one point, they received positive attention from wearing r…
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 05:28 PM

I actually have a personal experience that revealed this to me. I am happy to share if you genuinely want to listen.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 05:22 PM

Blanket statements should be considered just that: blanket statements. They are generalizations meant to give as close an approximation to reality as possible. If I said "men like boobs" it would be a blanket statement, but nobody would complain because most people know what I mean. As far as making friends, this is the last place I would go to try and make buddies.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 05:21 PM

It sounds like you agree with me but I'm not quite sure. Are you saying you would like to wear revealing clothing, but you're uncomfortable with your body?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 05:17 PM

You wanna know why? Because generally, women enjoy the privilege and freedom of being able to act single while being in a relationship. They want the freedoms they had from the single life, with the comfort of having a safe guy at home who isn't going to leave them. When a man starts imposing standards and expectations into the relationship, suddenly she feels like she has less freedom which most women dislike.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 05:11 PM

I don't care what women do, I care what my woman does. If I have a girlfriend, she shouldn't feel the need to show off her body to other guys for attention and validation. I see some women who have boyfriends post nudes to Reddit for compliments, and that shit blows my mind how any guy would allow his partner to do tht.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 05:08 PM

I never used the word 'good' except to respond to someone else who lumped the two adjectives together. To me someone saying they "feel good about how they look" and someone who "feels sexy" are two completely different meanings. As far as your examples: First of all, not all of the examples you gave are even universally disliked. I know some guys aren't into tattoos, but others are. The same goes for dyed hair and gaudy piercings, many guys will be turned off but some really like it. I don't kno…
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 05:03 PM

You can be beautiful and find yourself hideous. You can also be hideous and find yourself beautiful.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 04:54 PM

There is a difference between trying to attract a man vs enjoying the attention of men I'm sure the majority of women do not hook up with a guy when they go out looking sexy on a Friday night. It doesn't mean they don't enjoy the attention, compliments and free drinks from guys hitting on them all night.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 04:30 PM

First of all I think we need to compartmentalise "feeling good" vs "feeling sexy". Clothing and style can make you feel good for a myriad of reasons. A work uniform can make you feel more professional and better suited to do your job. Tattoos can reflect your personal style or something meaningful to you. You can wear clothes from different eras because you simply appreciate the visual aesthetic of them. "Dressing sexy" at least in the context of this post, is wearing clothes designed to be sexu…
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 04:27 PM

Women don't exist to make men feel secure and safe from competition. Once you're locked in with someone, the competition should be over. I shouldn't feel like I'm constantly competing with every guy to keep a partner I already have. If a woman is in a relationship but does things to "keep her options open" that means subconsciously she thinks she could do better than the man she is presently with.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 04:05 PM

God...they don't do it for every man out there, they do it in the hopes of attracting a man they like. Honestly, it actually is for every man... though they like the attention, not the harassment. as u/Nihi1986 pointed out, women dress for men. But women are actually physically unattracted to the majority of men. So really it is more accurate to say they are dressing up for the small handful of potential men they do like. Either that, or they understand dressing in that way gives them more power…
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 04:03 PM

I am 23, so by your parameters you are correct. I don't see that as a problem though. To be honest, I think it's much weirder for a 30+ year old to be on this subreddit. At a certain age you would think you have this stuff figured out. At least for young people we can justify being on forums like this as we are still navigating social dynamics
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 04:00 PM

Im 23, so pretty much all of my view on women is based on Gen Z women which I agree are a little different than older generations primarily due to the effect of the Internet. So I cant speak as to what was normal or acceptable among older generations of women
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 03:58 PM

That's a different conversation. You can be frustrated that guys have too rigid standards over what's acceptable clothing. There is no objective line to be drawn for what constitutes provocative. I personally think women look really sexy in leggings but I understand women wear leggings primarily because they're comfortable, not necessarily to show off. However, there are also categories of clothes that women wear not just for comfort, but specifically because it makes their body look sexier.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 03:57 PM

I've been hit on in baggy jeans and an oversized shirt on many occasions so it makes absolutely fuck all difference. So why shouldn't we just wear whatever the fuck we want. It's very disingenuous when women make claims like this. So because you've been hit on a few times in sweatpants, you think what you wear has no bearing on the men that approach you? You think a woman covered head to toe in a hijab receives the same type of attention as a girl who walks around in booty shorts and a low cut s…
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 03:52 PM

Not at all. The biggest simps are often liberal men who call other men "incels " or 'insecure" for being possessive over their partners.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 03:50 PM

You did a lot of mental gymnastics there. You are indirectly claiming that Muslims, due to their inability to control men of other tribes, have decided out of frustration to control their own women for a semblance of power. That is a ridiculous unfounded assertion that you provided no evidence for.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 03:49 PM

Tell me then. Why does wearing a revealing outfit make a woman feel good and sexy, in your mind?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 03:44 PM

I didn't say that. Way to choose the most unflattering interpretation for my comment. What I'm saying is it only takes one good experience to heal from a plethora of negative experiences. For example, if you had only bad experiences throughout your life with a particular race, and then met one person of that race who was cool, it would ease your previous prejudices because you have a positive experience to mitigate a lot of the negative experiences. I don't know anything about anorexia, but I ca…
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 03:40 PM

Saying "women enjoy male attention" is not a 'male ego' belief. You're interpreting it as if we're saying "look at you woman, so desperate to please us men. Pathetic". It's not like that at all. We're simply saying if women didn't want cat calling, compliments, or staring, they would dress in a manner that avoids this from happening as much as possible. When a woman goes out dressed 'slutty' it's because whether knowingly or subconsciously she wants to present in a way that is sexually attractiv…
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 03:32 PM

So you commented to tell me I spent too much energy on my post? Lool
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 03:24 PM

Not really. Women at bridal showers usually wear long dresses, usually very tasteful. Have you seen what some gen Z girls wear on a night out? Some of those outfits are more like lingerie than actual clothes.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 03:23 PM

No one has ever healed from bullying or abusive people and loved themselves. Nobody is saying you can't heal from bullying. 100 people could've bullied you for your appearance, and it only takes 1 person to tell you that you're beautiful for you to heal. But without receiving some sort of external validation, even if it's just one person, you won't magically think of yourself to be attractive if all of the feedback you received said the opposite.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 03:18 PM

I appreciate your contributions to the thread brother. I'm afraid you are wasting your time. Rather than analysing the contents of your comments from a logical deductive perspective, they will simply dismiss your entire point with "Imagine getting mad at this". This woman you're responding to isn't actually interested in getting to the underlying truth. She has in her ego "how dare men think Im doing something to please them?" which is not a logical conclusion, but rather an emotional aversion t…
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 03:14 PM

Don't dilute the conversation by calling it "attractive". "Attractive" "sexy" "revealing" all have different connotations. You can dress attractive in a way that is modest and tasteful and leaves room to the imagination. My post is specifically about dressing sexy/slutty/promiscuously/provocatively. Women will wear cute outfits at home yes but they dont wear the tiny dresses and see thru tops that they wear out to the club.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 03:10 PM

Thank you. This guy seems to fail to realize that you can dress nice in a tasteful way for both genders. My post wasn't about simply dressing nice, which could be a modest long dress that covers everything. My point was about clothes which specifically show off your body in a salacious way. Completely different. A more apt male equivalent would be a ripped guy wearing tiny gym shorts and nothing else.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 03:07 PM

Wearing clothes is cheating now, because of course it is. What constitutes cheating depends on the agreed upon terms of the relationship. If myself and my wife have an understanding that her dressing promiscuously is unacceptable, and then she does it anyway, it's cheating. For other relationships that don't have this expectation, it wouldn't be cheating. We've seen what the modest clothing culture looks like and the type of weak dudes that society cultivates, no thanks. Really? You think Musl…
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 03:04 PM

You can't separate your self worth from how others perceive you. If everyone in the world thought you were butt ugly, and you had only ever received negative feedback about your appearance in your life, you would naturally think you are ugly. You can't magically conjure up self worth without the feedback of others. To suggest you can completely manifest self esteem without a reference to compare it to is ludicrous.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 03:01 PM

The easier option would just be to listen to women when they explain why they like dressing the way they do. It's very naive of you to automatically listen to what women say. Women's words often contradict their actions. For example, many women will say they just want a good man, but then if you examine their dating history it's plentiful with fuckboys, cheaters and assholes. Women will say things like "I wish I could find a guy like you" but if they really wanted a guy like you, they would date…
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 02:55 PM

It's also frequently not the opposite and in fact the same, dressing attractively at home AND when going out. Which, you'll recall, was your lead excuse as to why women couldn't possibly be dressing nice for themselves. Are you serious? You think women chill at home in the same outfit they go to the club in? You realize most women prefer wearing comfy clothes at home like a hoodie and leggings? Very few women walk around their homes everyday in a full face of makeup and a sexy little black dress…
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 02:50 PM

Let's unpack your comment a bit. What does it mean to "feel good or sexy"? Boosted confidence, right? You only get that confidence from having received validation from other people (generally men) in the past. Once 100 guys tell you that you look sexy while wearing a certain dress, that validation is locked in your brain, and suddenly every time you wear a sexy dress you now feel super confident. If you lived off the grid in the middle of the woods with no one around you wouldn't "feel good or s…
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 02:45 PM

I think there's a difference if your man is present or not while you look hot. If he's standing next to you with his arm around you, then it's more like "look whats mine" but if you go out wearing something revealing when he's not there it's like, who are you trying to appeal to?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 02:40 PM

Not only do women dress in attractive clothes even when at home, women will frequently walk around in underwear or completely nude when home alone. Not everything is about you. So then why do they also dress in attractive clothes outside of the home? They could wear sexy clothes at home 24/7, and wear conservative clothes when they go out. Like you said, if it's wasnt for me or other men, they would have no desire to wear the same type of revealing outfits outside the house. Only it's usually th…
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 02:39 PM

We can argue over the parameters of what constitutes dressing provocatively, but first we must agree that it is something that exists, and that it is done at least in part to appeal to men.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 02:33 PM

When I’ve dressed for myself or the ladies, I’ve always worn long flowy skirts and really modest stuff that makes me feel pretty and confident. This is exactly my point. Women do dress for each other, but it's generally to show off style, make up ability, and has a holistically more "beautiful" aesthetic. When a woman dresses in revealing clothes where the main point of the outfit is solely to emphasise her bodies, that's where it crosses into dressing for male attention territory.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 02:32 PM

That's effectively the same thing. They know what men like and attempt to appeal to it.

What the fuck is a “taken woman” and why would they want to dress “conservatively?” A taken person is someone in a relationship. A taken woman therefore is a woman in a relationship. Why would they want to dress conservatively? Out of respect for their partner. Granted, some men don't care how their partners dress. But generally speaking, well respected 'high value' guys are going to prefer their long term partner dressing more modestly. An opened buttoned shirt and sweat pants is a fucking terr…

Are you interested in actually discussing this? I'm not going to take 10+ minutes writing a multi paragraph in depth answer just to get a 2 sentence reply that completely dismisses everything I say without looking deeper into things. Is there a reason men who are not the target audience can't simply avert their eyes? If you go out to a club, bar or party wearing a sexy outfit, guys are going to stare at you. That's natural biology. It works both ways as well. Women stare equally as much at attra…

First of all, you replied within 60 seconds of me posting this long thread. Meaning you did not read it fully before you replied. Please read paragraphs 2 and 3. There is a difference between dressing cute vs dressing sexy. Nobody gets horny from a face of artistic makeup . When I say dressing sexy I'm specifically talking about dressing slutty, not just generally looking good. "No I do it for my friends" If it was for their friends, they would wear sexy clothes during sleepovers rather than s…

It isn’t simply that some studies are partially inaccurate, or use faulty methodologies. The issue is that some phenomena is fundamentally not conducive to being studied using the scientific method. There is a popular phrase that exists “chicks love bad boys”. Theoretically, someone could create some type of replicable experiment in which female participants are presented with a “bad boy” vs a “nice guy” and then must choose between the two men. This will never be an accurate method in deciding …
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/24 02:08 PM

When it comes to qualitative statements like “men are more X than women” it is pretty much impossible to accurately study. For example, how does one study which gender is more manipulative? We could create an experiment that tests participants ability to manipulate a situation maybe, but that only demonstrates manipulation in that particular context. On top of that there are various other factors that would impede any sort of accurate conclusion. For example, the sample size of said study would …
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/24 01:36 PM

I think a very telling sign of an unintelligent person is the necessity to have things expressed in the form of a study in order to conclude blatantly true things. For example if I said “women prefer tall men” and someone rebutted with “source? where’s your evidence?” I would think this is an unintelligent individual. Because it requires very minimal observational ability to realize that the majority of women prefer a taller man. This can be inferred not only by examining relationship heights, b…

The ring price is less of a problem than the lacking in virginity. I would spend $10,000 on a ring for a virgin woman. I wouldn’t even spend $100 on a ring for a non-virgin.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/24 11:47 AM

But my point is, there are millions of potential future wives to choose from. Why would I marry one who let another guy inside her vagina before?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/24 03:20 AM

So can 1-2 other billion women on the planet why does that make her special?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/24 03:12 AM

I think 1 thing you got wrong was that being married is inherently valuable. If your wife isn’t a virgin, what’s the point? Why would I spend $10,000 on a ring for a woman who let another man nut inside her uterus?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/24 03:10 AM

It is relevant here. He clearly said that he is able to be honest with women, whereas the average guy has to lie to women to some degree to get laid. Most people would consider being honest a virtuous act in contrast to lying. His “abundance” in this case, allowing him to act in a more moral way than the average man, is his good looks.

It is normal and natural for your self-esteem to be significantly impacted by your attractiveness to the opposite sex, as well as satisfy them sexually. And in a culture where penis size is felt to impact that, it is natural for that to matter to people. But modern culture has amplified this dynamic too far, while eliminated a lot of the ways unattractive people could still find self-esteem and status. We live in shitty times. Let's say a guy is overall physically attractive, but has a small pen…

But you don't get "status" from having a big dick. I mean, if you have sex with a girl and you're hung, she may tell her friends about you sure. But you don't walk around with a tshirt announcing your size to everyone. I don't get the rich guy analogy either. It seems like many rich guys like Bill Gates, Zuckerberg, and Musk to a degree are very socially awkward and non-confident in environments they are not comfortable in, like public speaking.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/23 01:23 PM

And women know how important a man's sexual status is to his overall self-esteem in a highly sexualized and sexually free world. I don't get it. Why is a man's sexual status important to his self-esteem? Even in a highly sexualized world, not everyone chooses to be promiscuous and sleep around. Personally I find people who sleep around like that quite disgraceful even though it is socially acceptable. Nonetheless, it's not like men walk around with a sign on their heads that says "my dick size i…

It's not just a niche femcel thing to make fun of small penises. Just hours ago on Facebook, i saw a meme making fun of this exact thing. Right, but guys don't see other guys penises unless they are gay. I have never seen any of my male friends penises. The common pattern for people who grow up in religious settings is this: Sex is viewed as sinful -> Sexuality gets suppressed -> Avoidance of sexual thoughts makes urges grow stronger -> Strong urges lead to indulgence followed by guilt This leads to a repetitive cycle where periods of trying to abstain from masturbation are filled with intense relapses followed by an episode of guilt and then trying to abstain again

Ok , I will grant that some men probably do make jokes like this even though I have personally never heard it directly. Still though, who do you think is more judgemental of small penises? Men or women? It wouldn't make sense for men to judge each other for small penises quite frankly. Many men are insecure about their size, so the less expectation there is for size down there, the more comfortable men would feel about themselves.

The only time I have heard small dicks referred to in a positive light is the fact that it makes anal or giving head easier. Like you said, I have never heard of any woman having a specific preference for small penises. Again, I have flat out read texts from women saying they left a guy's apartment, because upon hooking up she found out he had a very small penis. I don't think any guy in the history ever has done that because a girl had a weird labia. It's a decent comparison, but not at all equivalent. Not only do women do it too, they do it far more, and it's far worse. If a guy makes fun of another guy's dick, he looks gay or weird for even thinking about a fellow straight man's penis. But when a woman insults or is disgusted by small dicks, she actually means it, because she is the one who actually has sex with men and experiences dicks inside her. I have heard an alarming number of Asian women say they don't like Asian men because they purportedly have small dicks. I'm not Asian, but damn …

Different men will have different takes on this, but here's mine: I actually find women in the 25-35 age range very attractive, perhaps even more attractive than their 20 year old counterparts. But if I wanted a serious relationship, I would primarily consider a younger woman than myself (I'm 23). Societal progress is 100% subjective. What an American woman thinks is best for society may be the exact opposite of what a muslim man thinks is best for society, for example. It is 100% dependent on your values.

“Society going forward” is subjective. Just because society changes, does not necessarily mean that change is for the better. Many people would’ve preferred living in the 1980s rather than the current times we lived in, despite the fact that there has been so much “progress”.

You are justifying cheating behaviour and avoiding accountability in a very womanly fashion. If you’re partner is a “D grade partner” then break up with him. If you cheat, it doesn’t matter how much of a dick he was, unless he was physically abusive and literally threatening to kill you if you leave or something. If a woman cheats on a man the man is the victim, and the woman is the wrongdoer. It’s that simple.

Im not talking just about doing it for religious reasons. If you were a 24 yo muslim virgin woman you would likely want a virgin male for religious reasons. Women like you exist but are rare. I’ve only heard 2 women say they want a completely virgin male in their life over a guy with sexual experience. first of all, statistics, research, sources, and surveys are all the same thing for the purposes of social ‘science’ topics like this one. there are many teachers who are by no means scientists, I don’t see the correlation there lol People think they sound intellectual for asking for citations or studies, but when it’s on a non-intellectual social subject like what people find attractive it just makes you look dumb to even ask. If you need a study to understand what people find sexually attractive that indicates a lack of intelligence, not a surplus

First of all we’re talking like 30-40 year olds. Hardly old men. There are many good looking, healthy men in this age range, in fact many consider this the prime for men overall. The difference with the wrinkles is women don’t care as much, because it can give the guy a masculine, rugged look. Also like how women find scars sexy on men. Whereas for men, generally they prefer women who have more delicate features of beauty, which is why signs of aging like wrinkles or grey hair are seen as less a…

Ideally if I met the right woman we would live happily and neither would have baggage. But I would rather create a future older woman with baggage, than deal with another man’s old baggage. As Kanye said “theres leaders and followers, but I’d rather be a dick than a swallower” 🤣

Sure, they might know more about doing taxes, or paying a mortgage, or be more comfortable yelling at a waiter in a restaurant. Men who are successful and have money don’t necessarily need a woman to know how to do these things though. A woman’s greatest strength for a lot of men is her feminine energy and innocence which comes most strongly when she’s 18-25

Your debate is dumb though. Women have an innate fear of getting cheated on by a younger, prettier girl, especially as they age into their 30’s and 40’s. To compensate for this fear, a select population of women will deliberately go for men who are less attractive than their previous boyfriends when settling down, as they don’t want any risk of getting cheated on or their marriage getting jeopardized. What about this is difficult to understand? I will try to dumb it down for you.

I think a lot of different things make different women wet. I definitely don’t think Timothee Chalamet, Tom Holland, Harry Styles etc are the type of men women lust over though. those are quite effeminate guys. The type of guys I think make women wet are usually rappers, athletes, or actors with a bigger build like Jason Momoa or Channing Tatum.

There are many sexy and attractive women in their thirties. There are so many sexy and attractive women in their early twenties, who are very intelligent, vibrant, have less emotional baggage, less past partners, no children, etc. It’s not always a malicious intent to have some weird power dynamic. It’s literally just what men are attracted to.

if you can’t do that, you’ve failed a basic high school assignment. Women truly love adding catty sarcastic remarks at the end of every comment. It’s like second nature to your gender. It’s a balancing act. If the guy isn’t attractive enough she’ll have to settle with a less attractive partner than she theoretically could and deal with sexual urges for other men (most women go this route). If the guy is very attractive she might be more into him but he’s gonna have a lot more options, she’s gonna be worried about cheating, trying to check is phone always, etc.

You are correct but a lot of 20 year old women would be willing to be a wife if they met the right guy, especially a rich celebrity like Leo. So for a 20 year old woman who does want to be a wife and have kids right away. What does the 40 year old woman have to offer more than her?

Women do indirectly prefer older men, because the attributes women find attractive — successful, confident, mature, intelligent, socially aware, respected, dominant, take longer to develop whereas 18 year old women essentially start out in their prime as long as they figure out makeup and aren’t fat. If a 20 year old guy is hot, as long as he takes care of himself he will be hotter when he is 30. He’ll be bigger, stronger, more mature physically and emotionally, he’ll have better social skills, …

The more attractive her husband/boyfriend is the more afraid she will be of getting cheated on. In fact, many women will choose someone slightly less attractive than they’re used to when choosing a husband , because at that point in their life they want a stable guy who couldn’t cheat/leave.

As I will reiterate, most women will date within their own age range for a variety of reasons: social conformity, being in a similar position in life, etc. The point was when women have sexual fantasies, it’s often about a guy who’s much older than themselves. Preferring dumber, poorer and weaker is exploitative, no matter the context This is a very weak argument. The biological connection is extremely important. You are literally dealing with a human being with the same brain pathways, the same proclivities, tendencies, mannerisms, gravitation towards certain activities, etc. It goes well beyond the clinical genetic description of DNA. This isn’t to say adopting is bad or even necessarily worse. But there is a reason we naturally want to produce our own kids rather than adopt or raise the child of someone else, unless we’re unable to conceive on our own.

The man is absolutely vilified. Women will call their ex baby daddies dead beats, make social media posts about them, sabotage their reputation with friends and family, even prevent their child from having a proper relationship with him in some cases. And worst of all, usually the man actually DOES try and step up and fulfill his role somewhat, it’s just that if he’s not willing to do be the kind of dad/partner she wants so her solution is to ostracize him completely

Obviously women do care about these topics though, hence they are consistently on Redpill forums actively trying to dispel any male orientated interpretation of the dating market. Women care, they just dont care about how men feel. As long as society is set up for you to have your fun and have a stable partner to settle down with in the end, you expect everybody to be happy too. That’s not how reality works.

Wanting your child to be of your DNA isn’t a ‘weird hangup’ when you realize it’s much deeper than simply how you look. Men and women both want their own children, this isn’t some fragile masculinity issue. Imagine if you told all the fertile women of the world “you must not have children, the world is overpopulated. You must adopt.” Do you naively think women will be happy about that too? No. People want their own children, both men and women.

Unexpected pregnancies can be prevented Yeah they CAN be prevented. Not every woman wants an abortion believe it or not! Right, but the question is, is she doing slutty things for him that she never would never dream do with any other guy? Or is she simply acting in the slutty/kinky tendencies that she enjoyed & learned from her last relationships with other men? If option A it’s a win for the man. Option B is not so much of a win. Historically not only was it extremely common to have children before your mid twenties, but it was expected and the norm. Nowadays of course that has changed with birth control and the lack of family orientation in Western society. Also I guarantee your uncle has children of his own. That’s different. I agree the stepdad has a choice 100%, but women aggressively push the agenda of “its ok babe it doesnt matter if he didnt come from your nuts you’re still his dad ❤️” because they want redemption from their past mistakes. It’s not even about insecurity. It’s about having the most powerful experiences that teach you the most about how the opposite sex functions. Men who don’t have sex with a lot of women often have a very naive portrayal of innocence in how women act, because they havent experienced what it’s like for a woman to be an absolute slut for you. 1 single person can change the way you look at the opposite sex forever.

Cuckolds are unaware; in our terms it means an unfaithful wife/partner. In situation with prior mates, in humans or animals, the new mate is not referred to in this way. It’s funny you mention humans or animals, as if there’s another animal that exists in which step parentage is considered accepted by that species. It isn’t. I don’t think we disagree on much. All I’m saying is that men often reach their peak attractiveness in their 30’s and 40’s when many men are at their most successful, charismatic, put-together, and mature. Women are almost universally considered their most attractive in their early 20’s when they are in the prime of their youth and generally their most beautiful. Men pretty much only care about how hot women are, we don’t tend to care about women being successful or mature.

I have never heard “The wall” used to describe men, because there’s a huge market for dilfs, daddies, dadbods, sugar daddies, silver foxes etc. Maturity is seen as sexually attractive as a trait in men, while mot necessarily in women. Here’s the thing. Every relationship we have whether it’s friendship, romantic, family etc. is transactional. We provide some sort of value to the other person in hopes that they provide an equivalent or different value to us. Your relationship may very well be relatively equally split in terms of providing the same amount of value to each other, however that doesn’t mean it’s perfectly symmetrical. For example, if the lawn needs to be mowed would you do it or would you expect your man to?

I think you’re focusing too much on the word ‘daddy’. Romantic partners in general replicate to some degree the roles our parents play for us. It tends to go both ways in a healthy traditional relationship; the man would go off to work, provide for his woman, protect her, etc. and in exchange the woman would cook for him, clean for him, etc. Increasingly in society, women still crave paternal traits in their partner over a true egalitarian partnership, however often aren’t willing to put in the …

In my experience a lot of guys are more than happy to settle down when they’re younger, but the average 20 year old boy simply doesn’t meet the standards of the average 20 year old girl in terms of career, money, experience, demeanour, maturity and looks. So what usually happens is once men do finally establish themselves as successful and attractive in their late 20s, 30s, 40s, etc. By that point the guy has an influx of women that wouldn’t have been interested in dating him when he wasn’t/didn…

Based on my experiences women tend to want to hoe around and party a lot in their late teens/early 20s and aren’t interested in settling down and getting married until their late 20s/30s. Typically by that point it’s difficult for them to find long term loyal partners because the men that are established by that age generally already have a partner, or have so many options that they don’t feel the need to commit to any one woman anymore. Many successful guys cheat on their wives on the low keep …

Human sexuality is incredibly logical. It only seems illogical when mental disorders, the internet, pornography, and people thinking they’re special/different than the rest of humanity. Fundamentally men & women don’t really change what they want in each other, it just adapts and shifts slightly as time goes on. But in general women are sexually attracted to dominant, successful, confident men while men want sexually a woman that’s gonna be fully submissive & loyal to him and he doesn’t need to …

I assure you he doesn’t not cry because he is trying to attract me Why would he need to attract you if he already has you? That’s not my point. I’m saying that it’s physically difficult for men to cry in front of women because of years of social conditioning - and not just in the sense of “society telling boys to be manly”, but specifically in the sense that men recognize women want strong, emotionally stable, resilient, self assured, confident men, and our body and mind’s subconsciously underst…

Why not? A girl that stays home, takes care of the guy (cooking, cleaning, cuddling, sex), is loyal, doesnt go out partying or dressing lime a thot, I can’t see any reason why the guy wouldn’t be attracted?

Thank you for proving my point. Men adhere to traditional gender roles, eg. not crying in front of their girlfriends. Whether it’s subconscious or due to social conditioning or upbringing quite frankly doesn’t matter. If men started crying to their women in the exact same manner as women do currently to their boyfriends, women would find their partners as less self assured, less attractive, and whiney, whether you are willing to admit it or even know it yet.

My date was just one example. What you need to understand is almost every woman is outwardly egalitarian but when faced with an attractive man suddenly willing to perform traditional gender roles for them they tend to lose the egalitarianism mindset. Being a “daddy” is absolutely not my kink. If anything I’m slightly annoyed these trends exist.

it’s not that hard. It might not be difficult to for guys to outperform their female partners, but it is generally difficult to become a successful male because you are competing with other ambitious men. I think the better question is, once a guy works his ass off to become a valuable top 20% man and suddenly has a boat load of options, why would he want to be humble or faithful?

Nobody does that No woman expects her man to lead in social situations, particularly ones that could provoke social anxiety? If you truly believe this then I don’t think you have very much social knowledge. As of current times, this usually isn’t the case. It might not be as prevalent today but I disagree, I think it is still widely the case. Even if the girl doesn’t expect the guy to pay, she’ll most likely prefer him planning the dates, driving them there, picking out the restaurant etc. Women…

That’s not true. You’ve probably met thousands of women that would expect the precedent for men I set in this post. Do you think women go around vocalizing everything they want in a partner 24/7 even when it’s not relevant to the conversation? Not only that but if you haven’t met a woman who doesn’t at least want her husband to do the handy-work around the house then you don’t know many women.

Extroverted women exist Even in relationships where the woman is more extroverted and the guy is introverted the woman will usually expect the guy to take the lead in social situations that may cause her stress, such as when negotiating a price of a car from a man, etc. Friends do this. Anyone who will have an egalitarian relationship should have no problem planning and paying for half the dates. I don’t agree with that, the last date I went on we paid for ourselves and she actually offered to pay for me. But if you observed the body language, chemistry, and conversation we had on the date it was clear that she wanted me taking charge. I mean, I was the one that initially messaged her on Tinder, i was the one that picked her up in my car, but she still offered to pay for me.

Im not saying women find vulnerable men unattractive, Im saying you they only find a surface level of vulnerability attractive. If you cry a couple times a year over something like your relationship with her she would love it. If you go through a depressive episode where you’re suddenly in bed feeling like crying for a week, suddenly her empathy becomes a lot less apparent.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/22 11:20 AM
1

If you tell a girl you’re depressed and she says something along the lines of “you can talk to me about it any time!! :)” what she really means is you can give her surface level descriptions of how you’re feeling. What she isn’t saying is volunteering to be your shoulder to cry on despite how it may be worded or how insistent she might be about you opening up

Do you agree women often use their boyfriends/husbands/partners as their #1 go-to person during emotional distress? Sometimes it might be the mom or best friend etc. depends on the situation, however I think women often do lean on their partners as their main source of emotional comfort. As you said, women don’t want to be a guy’s only, or main emotional support. Sitting down with 30 minutes and holding a guy while hes crying isnt an appealing image, especially for young women .
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/22 09:28 AM
1

The main issue is that when a man is crying, he’s also lost confidence, lost his self esteem, lost his drive and ambition, etc. Yeah, no shit. If a guy is that upset over something of course he’s gonna be broken down and not confident, driven, ambitious etc. You can’t detach the crying and emotions from the other factors, they go hand in hand.

/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/22 05:37 PM

Not to men. No well put together grown man celebrates bullies, even though a lot of boys are bullies when they’re younger. Once you reach a certain point of maturity as a man the mentality shifts where it actually makes you look weaker picking on the smaller guy.

No, overpowering someone stronger than you is considered masculine. Most respectable men don’t respect bullies.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/22 05:25 PM

Similarly, it isn’t masculine to take advantage of those weaker than you, however it is toxic masculinity. In this case, it isn’t feminine to take advantage of an innocent man who loves you, it’s toxic femininity.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/22 05:20 PM
1

It is, but men often have a false sense of innocence about women in particular (partly because of how a lot of women carry themselves) so many falsely assume that because a woman ‘loves’ them she’s incapable of hurting them or having bad intentions.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/22 05:03 PM

The feeling of anger/fighting is just a response to feeling threatened. I absolutely think a lot of young men suffer some version of PTSD yes, which is why they often look stressed/pissed off all the time.

“Society” rarely explicitly says anything directly. Most people read between the lines. In the case of men, men nowadays are often told to be more vulnerable and open up, but if you’re around just 1 male who doesn’t have an emotionally sensitive mindset, it sets a switch off in your brain for self protection. As you are subconsciously always in a biological state of worrying about a fight breaking out, even if the environment doesnt call for it.

If a girl is insecure because she doesn’t think she’s pretty enough or whatever, it’s still her responsibility not to take her anger out on others. In the same way, if boys are insecure because they aren’t manly enough, it’s their responsibility not to project their insecurities on everyone else.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/22 02:22 PM

I agree we should have a more nurturing environment for everyone growing up. All I’m saying is that men have an innate desire for women, friends and respect. (Women do too ofc). Naturally, there will always be those with, and those without. Those without are going to tend to become aggressive until they receive what they’re after.

I hardly followed the case & I know she physically assaulted him, shat on his bed, said “tell them you’re a man, they won’t believe you”. And she had the audacity to call him out as the abuser first. Please, without using the lazy argument that they were both toxic, provide specific examples of anything remotely comparable to the 4 things Amber did against him, that he did to her. I want specific examples, and I want them compared against her actions and in the order in which the actions occurre…

Again, I am not talking about the ways societal expectations to be pretty or submissive or something get internalized and become insecurities in women, that’s a separate issue altogether for another post. I am talking about the ways toxic women leverage social power that people may not be cognizant of.

Why cause you don’t like to be challenged? If your version of challenging me as “what about men” then proceed to ignore the points about men I do bring up, thats fucking pathetic. Ive heard more logically cohesive arguments from stoners after their 8th bong rip. You clearly just think Im here to shit on women for no reason. Nothing I can say is going to change your mind, because you are a close minded person.

No offence but your perspective is clearly someone who doesn’t know what it’s like to experience male hormones in an environment with rough males around. It’s not a conscious decision to get angry or pretend not to have feelings. It’s a biological impulse to not appear weak and get ostracized from your peers, that will never go away so long as the boys with the most advantages - money, friends, strength, girls, status, continue to abuse them.

If you aren’t careful, you’re gonna sabotage the naturally more empathetic boys with this mentality as the naturally less empathetic boys take advantage of them. You are ironically helping the most toxic powerful men get more power by disarming the average man.

I gave you 3 instead of 9, because you didn’t ask for a comprehensive list of all men’s bad behaviours, you just said you wanted me to prove I recognized that both sexes were capable of having their own specific bad behaviours. A lot of “toxic masculinity “ aren’t things boys are ever explicitly told to do, but rather what socially competent boys recognize will bring them the most desirable outcomes in life, whether with friends, women, money etc. Men tend to be goal oriented rather than emotion oriented.

And it will never change, because nature is dictated by the people with the most power, who will always abuse it. Telling weaker guys not to listen to “toxicity masculinity” while they watch others achieve success with the very tactics they’re told to avoid is fucking stupid. No smart guy would listen to that advice.

You can be successful without shitting on other men Do you know what it’s like growing up with boys? It’s competitive, everything’s a fight to prove yourself. Unless you come from a good background with a good family, a good economic background, good genetics, and a healthy supportive environment, chances are you will feel a deep aggressive urge to fight for your status in society. Women don’t understand this, because quite frankly women don’t know what it’s like to try and be successful in an e…

Disorders aren’t as black and white as “having it” or “not having” it. The brain is very complicated and I imagine many young people are in a position rn where they have certain behaviours of certain disorders but may not fit all the criteria for clinical diagnosis (or havent even been diagnosed)

behavior pushed on men as a part of their gender role Close, sometimes men get pushed aggressively into male gender roles by their overbearing fathers. But often, it’s not that men are “pushed” into wanting to be bigger, stronger, richer, more successful than everyone, etc. It’s that we recognize those are the most desirable traits in getting treated good in Western society, and thus the only strategy is to either adapt, or accept being a loser (at least that’s how it may feel like)

Really? My mom tried to leverage me and her other kids as a weapon of guilt because she had relationship problems with my father. There are 2 ways we can define toxic masculinity. A skinny guy might not feel ‘manly’ enough and then have a decreased self esteem as a result. But he didn’t do anything wrong. The kind of toxic masculinity Im talking about right now would be a big guy thinking he has the right to pick on smaller boys just because of his size advantage. He is the abuser. I am talking about the abuse of power here, not the manifestation of insecurities, which everyone deals with. I think we agree men tend to have…

Being insecure about being pretty enough as a female, or strong enough as a male, and then letting those insecurities affect your self confidence is a different issue than what Im talking about in this post. Absolutely. Me personally I wouldnt be ok with scenario B. If i got the impression that she only wants me because of the phase of her life, and not because of me specifically , i wouldnt be interested in her. Its not even about purity. Its about the fact that the guy specifically chose not to focus on sex in order to build something for himself, while the girl both got to have sex with many people, and end up with the stable guy too

Honestly I think most guys just put up with toxic relationships because the girl is good looking enough. I think that would be why the hot crazy girl trope exists. Biology, but that doesn’t mean everyone is going to feel the biological urge to have kids. Its related to your hormones & experiences I guess. Still, we’ve been reproducing for hundreds of years. Let me ask you this: Why is possessiveness inherently bad provided the couple is happy together? Most people don’t want their partner cheating, so most are already possessive to some degree. The real reason is because bad guys will tolerate and accept more bad behaviour than guys with good heads on their shoulders. If someone has a traumatic childhood or past or something they might find it difficult being comfortable around someone emotionally well adjusted, because they constantly feel like they have to act like a different, perhaps disingenuous “clean” version of themselves around ‘good men’ that feels unnatural and perhaps even uncomfortable if thats not the type of men theyre u…

I’m not telling anybody to do anything. If guys want to achieve this, they need to actively pursue it rather than sitting back on their asses waiting or being bitter about it. They have to chase that outcome. Extrapolation of data, meaning the guy looks at his life trajectory and assumes his partner likely had a similar one: ie, I sacrificed having fun in my 20s to build a career for myself and my future family, so wouldnt my sweet beautiful wife who loves me very much? I think a lot of guys think their partner had the same mentality, not realizing a lot of women just want to have fun in their 20s specifically because they know theyre gonna settle down with 1 man
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/22 06:58 PM
1

Which is why I said AGGRESSIVELY pursue; ie get jacked, tattoo sleeves, a fresh haircut, jewellery, nice clothes, confidence and start approaching shy 18 year old girls who seemingly dont have much relationship experience. Thats what I wouldve done if I could have my time back. The few women who are both attractive and havent been fucked by a lot of guys is always a rare pool.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/22 06:51 PM

I agree. If men want women with low n counts they should aggressively pursue them early in life. Waiting around for it to happen is a complete waste of time.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/22 06:43 PM

Good question, I dont know. A lot of times the guys n count is higher. Im talking about relationships where the guy didnt get much attention until later in life and gets pursued by a woman who typically has more experience

I don’t know if we disagree on anything. I too think guys shouldn’t be overly focused on their flaws, nor should they let their ability to get a partner affect their self esteem. My insecurity in a relationship isn’t about getting left, it’s about getting cheated on: and that includes verbal/emotional cheating, like flirting with other guys. I have 80-90 matches myself all of whom I found attractive enough to swipe on. Lets be realistic here, an attractive person giving you validation is an ego boost. The difference is women don’t need to try hard to get that validation, whereas guys need to be blessed or try really really hard.

Very common to not want a promiscuous partner, even if the guy is attractive
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/22 06:07 PM

No, it’s because they waited a long time for sex so they assume she would’ve too, especially since women were historically the ones who pushed aggressively for monogamy while men were thought to want to stick their dick inside everything. The mentality behind it is: I was patient enough to wait for the love of my life, so why wasnt she?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/22 06:06 PM

Im saying if you are more in love with them than they are with you, they have more power over you. Which is partly why women constantly go back to guys they know aren’t good for them.

You don’t see an issue with the scenario because you’re not a man. Most guy likes to attach an idealization of purity to their wives. The concept of her sleeping with a bunch of men before you is inherently uncomfortable as a man unless you have a comparable number of sexual experience. In the scenario we are talking about though, the woman has significantly more sexual experience than your partner. In case you haven’t noticed by the million posts about it every day, guys are uncomfortable think…

No, it’s also for the 25 year olds, 24 yos, or 27 yos that fall in love with the first woman that ever shows any sort of romantic interest to them, and start getting delusions that its some kind of match made in heaven or something, rather than just another partner on her list.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/22 05:08 PM

Ok, so ugly guys should just give hope of finding a partner? Well, you’re a woman so that’s a privileged take, because no matter what you look like you’ll always find a man willing to be with you. The outcome you want, unattractive men to just make peace of their situation, is a biologically impossible outcome rooted in testosterone and male hormones. Therefore we need a solution that works better for men and women.

I was reading the red pill forum when I was 16 and thought it was complete bullshit. I’ve come to realize there’s more truth to it than some people would like to admit - otherwise we wouldnt be seeing women complaining about their asshole ex for the 100th time, wondering why tf yall didnt dump him the first time he was disrespectful

We aren’t talking about sexuality with them, we’re talking about having a first innocent elementary school crush, Jfc. and it’s only in the post because it is a defining moment in psychosocial development that will affect your highschool years dramatically once you realize if girls like you or not.

‘Beta bucks’ is slightly outdated imo. Money doesn’t matter to gen Z women too much in my experience. Hell the few girls i went out with were paying for my things on dates.

If you’re not picked, chances are you’re not attractive to people. Yes. Hence why if you do want to be perceived as attractive (most do) it’s important to recognize what is perceived as attractive in men and proactively work towards achieving it.

I think this is where most men and women can agree on. Unfortunately it seems like a lot of guys either struggle with the things that make women admire them simply because they don’t understand women, and the guys that do get a strong level of female admiration early in life tend to exploit and abuse it to have sex with as many women as possible

And they are not likely to be virgins themselves There are some guys that do fall into this scenario though. 30 year old virgins are extremely rare yes. But i think you will find virtually no female virgins at that age. Whereas a few guys who just focused on their career when they were young who may have been perceived as boring to women suddenly find themselves in a position later in life where they are suddenly attractive. These men need to know that the woman they’re gonna end up with likely …

For me, once a girl reaches my minimum hotness thats great. Im not trying to go hotter; that just means more competition from other guys. A 6-7/10 gf (hate grading appearances) is perfect, and from there you can focus on the quality of her personality, which should most definitely be more down to earth hopefully than megan fox.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/22 03:57 PM
7

Yeah, but that’s because we live in a backwards society where men are meeting their first girlfriend at age 30, thinking she was waiting around for him like he was her, not realizing shes been with 10-15 guys before him.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/22 03:56 PM
1

Ok, but what about women without a bunch of deep emotional traumas. What about just normal highschool girls who grew up in good families? They are looking for the most “perfect” guy they can find when they’re in their prime - the tallest, best looking, funniest, most charming, most socially intelligent. Every woman eventually lowers her expectations, but that doesnt mean those desires for perfection or ideal arent initially there
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/22 03:43 PM

Its a combination of you being her best option + her knowing you have other options
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/22 03:39 PM

Just be glad you grew up in any era where it was normal to be your imperfect self. The world is very shallow and disordered right now. Im sure trends will turn around soon but right now its very difficult to be young for both guys and girls

Once you reach a certain age that becomes a self harming mindset than a self protective one. For example Im 22 years old. Chances are im likely not going to be a girl’s first, unless I meet her when shes 18 and a virgin or something. At some point you just gotta accept where you stand, and work from there to achieve your optimal happiness.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/22 03:28 PM
3

It’s a spectrum. The more attractive she is the more options she has and thus she is more likely to have dated more guys, experiencing more heartthrob. Me personally, once a girl reaches my threshold level of attractiveness it doesnt matter anymore if she gets any hotter. I imagine some girls realistically know they dont have a shot with the hot popular guys, and just build connections with the guys who do try talking to them

Theyre rich, famous, have extremely conventionally attractive sharp features (ie piercing eyes, jawline etc) mixed with androgynous styled that make them stand out to women. Is that supposed to be something the average guy is expected to compete with?

In every relationship, the partner that needs the relationship the least to benefit their quality of life has the power in a relationship. Typically a successful well emotionally rounded guy knows he has a lot of quality women options, so wont be as stressed about 1 particular relationship. He will be less likely to feel like he “needs” her, as much as she feels she “needs” him. This isn’t to say their relationship will be one sided, unenjoyable or shallow. Im just saying, the fact that when girls first start getting attention from guys they gravitate towards the toxic ones isn’t a coincidence and it has more to do with biological roles and male-female dynamics than it does with your personal experience as an individual. You seem to think that women think masculine men should treat them like shit. That’s not what I’m trying to say. I’m not even talking about masculinity in itself, I’m talking about toxicity which is often positively correlated with success especially at an early age. Some of the nicest guys I met were also the most masculine. You don’t even need to be masculine at all to be toxic. But even if shes 100% loyal, in this case the problem is the fact that some hot guy got to fuck the love of your life solely because he was good looking and she was horny.

The most masculine men start out as the most toxic earlier in life, and then their girlfriends/wives tend to soften them up over time. If we were to analyze the same 2 guys when they were boys or adolescents I can guarantee you speaking as a man that the one who was fuelled with more testosterone at an earlier age was more likely to be a bully growing up.

You're the one making these If/or claims. If you don't recall YOU made a thread regarding the behavior and perception of BOYS who have the warped belief that no one in the world exists besides bad boys and bad girls screwing each other. Let me try putting it in a different way then because that’s not what I’m saying. I’m saying that both the stuck up popular girls and the shy quiet girls both fantasize about some variation of the bad boy archetype to different degrees. I referenced what you comm…

Like I said, I would love to be able to be fully honest about my feelings but it hasnt worked for me. Lets use a common example: you’re dating a girl and she makes a comment about finding a guy attractive. If I take the time to explain how that hurts my feelings and makes me insecure, it accomplishes nothing. I know she’s just gonna tell me whatever to make me feel better. She might say that looks don’t matter, or that attraction is more than physical or something like that. Not only is what she…

K, but not all mental health problems comes from generational issues that are compounded, and even if they were the same effect causes many men’s mental health problems as well. Who your parents are and how your childhood was has a way bigger impact on you than what happened in the 60’s and 70’s. I had an emotionally neglectful and at times verbally abusive mother. Some of my earliest memories are watching her pull a knife on my dad and making me watch them argue and fight. Now my dad was far fr…

Women could unironically mitigate this issue by being more honest about what they look for in a partner so young men with no social skills go on the internet trying to find out why they don’t magically have a girlfriend yet.

No one is to blame if young men have tunnel vision and are incapable of seeing or perceiving any other human or relationship dynamic in existence. That is mental illness and a perception issue that no is capable of curing. Why are women’s mental health problems society’s fault and men’s mental health problems their own fault?

For example, if im dating a girl and she does something I dont like, Ive come to learn that women respond better to being “reprimanded” in some way, whether it’s giving them the silent treatment or disrespecting them in some way. Actually taking the time to sit down and patiently express your emotions to a woman is pointless. Women naturally have a defensive barrier against men from being scared of angry men throughout their childhoods that prevents her from being 100% empathetic to you, because…

I understand that now. I shouldve made myself get over that fear. I really didn’t understand a thing about how people or relationships worked back then. In fact a few girls did start showing a bit of interest near the end of school, but my self esteem and social problems were so bad that I never got the courage to do anything about it.

Btw I agree with your premise that men give each other more tools in the workplace, and I would counter it by saying how women give each other different tools too in different ways. For example dealing with mental health and emotional problems.

And the men who arent taught to be combative get absolutely fucked in the man’s world. Maybe they’re happier deep down with less bottled up anger, but in terms of materials- possessions, wealth, status, power, women, respect, you literally have to be combative when appropriate to earn these things. So as a preservation strategy fathers teach their sons to work hard and not take shit from other people.

/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/22 02:21 PM

You can think that if you want, and I probably did used to be angry, not so much at the fact that I didnt get girls but at the fact that I felt like I was lied to/gaslit about the reasons. When I got older and better looking and started noticing more attention from girls I still found that acting like you dont give a shit is very attractive to women.

I can hopefully explain why. Confidence comes from a self perception of value. In the Western world, as men we’re valued for our strength, confidence, competency, etc. Being a nice guy seldom gets you the same level of personal achievement as being 100% ego driven. Hence why the top men in virtually every category also tend to be very competitive and ego dependent. To expect a guy to be able to keep a positive mindset in the same environment with the same goals is unrealistic. To be conventional…

First of all, blame is very different from pattern recognition. If I say x group of people tends to do y, that’s not blame. It’s acknowledging trends. What I am saying is men can’t solely be blamed for the emergence of toxic masculinity, because young women often pursue a toxic expression of masculinity either consciously or subconsciously. Both parties contribute to the dynamic.

Not too much. I pretty much just talked to whoever talked to me. I had extremely low self confidence. I did get the urge to talk to a few girls but I also assumed they probably wouldn’t be interested in me, not only that I had a lot of anxiety.

I understand I don’t know what it’s like from the woman’s perspective. If I had the same attention from women that they get from men, youre right that would probably change a lot of my views on relationships. I think there’s something you and a lot of women don’t realize about being a man though. Women give men very conflicting ideas about what they want in a partner, and so we’re usually faced with the choice to either try and be a good person and simply survive or to tactfully be a dickhead an…

The idea that men collectively control a narrative is wrong. The reason toxic masculinity exists in relationships, the workplace etc is because it’s just a competition to who’s willing to suffer more (and make others suffer) for desired outcome. Men are always going to be the ones to do this, because men’s value is placed on their ability to provide something, not for just existing.

Here’s my perspective: I don’t believe the guy that dated you when you were 18 years old is ‘winning’. But I also don’t believe it’s fair to say that you were just into those type of men because of societal conditioning. If we’re gonna forgive women for making bad dating decisions and regretting it because of social programming then we need to provide the same type of compassion towards isolated m…

Thats what I mean. It’s a 2 sided dynamic. Women are more attracted to what they’re accustomed to. Men try to accustom to what women find attractive. Innocent women grow up seeing toxic men as leaders and think thats how men are supposed to be. Innocent men see how women let attractive guys get away with more shit, and thus become more toxic themselves.

Being nice and masculine is incredibly difficult and something most men are only able to hone in on as they get older. The reason for this is because the modality of being nice, sensitive, thoughtful, generous and empathetic doesn’t tend to be what brings men the best outcomes in terms of conventional success as it allows other men to walk all over you and overpower you. I think we’re in agreement on what happens, our only disagreement seems to be that you think it’s normal and I dont. Women just shouldnt be surprised why toxic masculinity exists and will continue to be perpetuated. As long as nature rewards certain behaviours, they will always exist.

Thats my point. Women will accept & turn a blind eye to homophobic & racist if the guys fun/hot, but they wont usually accept a guy who’s not homophobic/racist who isnt as fun or hot until later in life. Obviously they want to have a fun/hot guy whos not bigoted, but you cant always have your cake and eat it too. And given the choice women would sacrifice a man’s morality over his attractiveness.

I’ll reiterate what I said in another comment as an example. Women will complain about men being racist/homophobic, then date those racist/homophobic boys because they tend to be hotter/more fun over a guy who has the views they actually want whos perceived as boring.

It’s also not that I think being nice makes a girls pussy wet (being nice doesnt make my dick hard either) but girls often say they like a guy who’s a little mean to them - I could ask the same thing why is this getting them wet unless they have some kind of emotional trauma?

It's a pretty complex problem. Women don't actually want to be pursued, harassed, raped or beaten by strange men. But many women also fantasize about being dominated by a man they like. Exactly. It’s not that the act itself of being “sexually used for his pleasure” is heinous or morally reprehensible to you - it’s just that you don’t want to experience it with any random guy, or in a dangerous setting that risks your safety or reputation. I think if a girl saw something in a porn and wanted to try it I could do that. My problem with it mainly is the idea of the love of my life letting a guy completely use her and degrade her sexually besides myself. If i was the only one she explored it with, then I would be fine with it and maybe even honoured at the intimacy of it. I see why you would think I’m an asshole for looking down on a woman for her sexual kinks. But consider it from a guys’ point of view. From basically the moment we’re adolescents we’re hammered down with social programming about consent, respecting women’s boundaries, being respectful and polite, etc. And from an early age, the boys that don’t listen to these rules are often the ones that get most of the girls. I think this is where the differences between men and women come in. Men and women are both capable of being possessive but it’s clear guys place more attachment on the innocence of their partner. This is hypothetical, but thinking about a gf who I share a vanilla relationship with having a BDSM fling with some older guy who she fooled around with when she was younger is absolutely revolting to me. Like it physically pains my stomach even thinking about that.

I agree with everything you said, but also those submissive kinks are extremely possessive and idk, “using” in nature. Unless the girl you’re trying these things with hasnt let anyone do those intimate things with her before you, you have to cope with the fact that some other guy taught her to do these very degrading, submissive acts to the girl who you love. I think thats the part that bothers me about it the most.

Shes sexually aroused by the sensation of abuse while dissuaded by the negative aspects of being abused, like social ramifications, guilt, conflict of self, loss of independence, etc. Theres no invisible wall that the word “fantasy” is protecting her from. Because to me you cant separate a kink from your mind and desires. Even if you don’t directly want your kink to happen, its related to some element of your psyche, or past experiences or something. If a woman likes being submissive only in bed, they likely have an untapped/repressed desire of being submissive in everyday life. I’m sure you think that’s juvenile of me, but I personally find the idea of the woman I love fantasizing about being raped to be terrifying, whether just fantasy or not.

Im not saying your coworkers should call you anything. I’m saying if I was your husband, it would be jarring for me to call you my dirty bitch one minute during sex, and then sweetheart an hour later when we’re watching a movie or something. That concept is absolutely jarring to my brain.

I completely agree that we can experience conflicting emotions at the same time. I think we need to address the reasons why we like those things though. Even if a song is about murder and violence the person is likely into it because of the beat, melodies etc. Men like MMA and can simultaneously beat the shit out of each other because fighting is a masculine imperative and they have respect for each other. Women are turned onto submission because i believe it’s a feminine imperative to be submis…

/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/22 01:35 PM

I understand it absolutely. Women know its “wrong” of them to want to be raped, verbally abused, and degraded, and the “wrong” factor makes them hornier. My point is that it’s difficult for me to take a woman seriously as a politician, mother, teacher, businesswoman etc knowing that shes into these types of things. Not that theres anything morally wrong with it, but i think a lot of women take themselves very seriously as being role models in society or something. Women care a lot more about loo…

Kinks are absolutely logical. Every single kink you have can be traced by some part of your biological and psychological development.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/22 01:21 PM
2

Yes but im pretty sure if a racist dude is watching interracial BBC porn he’s probably ashamed of it and doing it out of some element of self hatred. I dont think its just because it’s taboo because a lot of things are taboo. Like he wouldnt be trying to find a girlfriend that wants to “explore” it with him in a “safe environment”
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/22 01:11 PM
2

People dont feel aroused about random things though. It’s based on a combination of your hormones, genetics, childhood upbringing, social relationships, first exposures to sex, porn you’re desensitized to etc. it’s not that women are just randomly getting turned on about being degraded. If you like being submissive in the bedroom, thats indicative of you liking being submissive.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/22 01:04 PM
3

I also agree completely with what you said. Being submissive is a biological imperative for most women. Therefore if they don’t have that feeling during everyday life as society gets more egalitarian and gender roles are forcefully being removed, it manifests itself in extreme ways (such as extreme kinks )
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/22 12:58 PM
4

Thats the thing, I feel like no matter how many women i talk to, the fact that ive gone very in depth in lengthy psychosexual relationships with women about how being treated like shit makes them horny put a seed in my brain that cant just be removed like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/22 12:56 PM
2

You are focusing on the element of privacy. Im focusing on the actual kinks themselves and how they misalign directly with most women’s belief systems about male-female dynamics.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/22 12:53 PM
2

Who said I wouldn’t respect someone’s boundaries? I would respect a woman’s physical boundaries always. I just would have a lot less respect for her and also question her logical consistency
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/22 12:34 PM
-2

But her co workers don’t know about her sex life, why would they treat her differently in that case? Im the one having sex with her. I just feel like if im in a relationship with a woman and I know she loves being used, degraded and being slutty then if she started complaining about something after having degrading sex it would be a lot more difficult to take her opinions seriously.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/22 12:31 PM
2

I get that, but if the idea of a guy dominating you, or being abusive, or forceful, or misogynistic etc. gets you so excited to the point you’re willing to completely disabandon your moral & political views for 10 minutes until you fuck, then you want to be treated like an upstanding feminist woman immediately after? Thats the part I cant wrap my head around logically

The fact that you specified it being a super hot woman and not just a woman shows that part of the appeal is the person complimenting being attractive, and not simply the ego boost. Perhaps even more physically attractive than your partner. If you arent monogamous your views on relationships, dating, sex, life, and people is gonna be totally different than mine. Monogamous people have different rules for dating. I would bring up a few points: 1. Many times women do acknowledge red flags, posting about it on social media, and having their friends tell them to stop seeing the guy. But a lot of women ignore the red flags deliberately. A lot of women will show attraction/interest in boldness, loudness, arrogance, etc. and mistake it for confidence. but usually again the guy is egotistical from the get go, but if hes good looking enough most women will tolerate it.

All of those things you listed, but my only take away is that women don’t know what’s best for them when they’re young and are susceptible to being controlled by fantasies and emotions. Thats it. You can write a paragraph explaining why and you’re probably very correct and self aware about it. But the fact that it’s so common for the “dangerous bad boy with the heart of gold” trope to appeal to so many women is part of the reason I dont ever plan on getting married because I honestly dont think …

/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/22 08:42 AM

I dont think a guy’s an asshole for getting tattoos, a leather jacket etc.. but many times those kinds of physical displays are to build a facade of toughness and masculinity that is easy to see through. If a girl finds those things in particular attractive thats a sign of naivety to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/22 08:42 AM

I don’t agree with the “sow your wild oats” thing at all. That sounds like an excuse women say to hoe around because they know they have a nice guy waiting for them to take care of them and save them anyways.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/22 08:36 AM
2

The tricky part with that is obviously navigating boldness and trying to initiate sexual tension without making her feel uncomfortable or being aggressive about it. “Assholes” dont care if they make a woman uncomfortable, because if she stops talking to him and calls him a dickhead hes just gonna try and fuck someone else. For guys who genuinely want a long term relationship, it can be difficult knowing the line between being flirtatious & forward vs being arrogant and creepy, especially with th…

/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/22 08:21 AM
2

The psychology behind it is interesting to me. First of all, we need to acknowledge that women don’t want to get hit on by every guy, and will probably only enjoy it from really attractive guys. Therefore its convenient to say that they hate the attention from all men, but if they got hit on by no guys whatsoever they would feel insecure about their looks.

That seems like a straight up lie tbh. I 100% agree that women in general prefer compliments from other women, I disagree that it’s because guy’s compliments are more sexual tho. Drunk girls hype each other up by complimenting each others boobs, ass, etc and they usually love it and will reciprocate. I just wish women admitted that part of the appeal of dressing up and going out to clubs is to look good and get attention from guys, even if theres no intention of hooking up and even if its just a…

/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/22 08:02 AM

Who did I say Im better than? No doubt I have socialization problems, I wont argue that. But I also think most young women are 100% illogical and hypocritical. They’ll date assholes just because they’re hot, voluntarily letting their partner treat them like trash only to , years later complain about their toxic ex that must have emotionally traumatized them. While at the same time, many girls will claim to want a nice, attentive boyfriend, but you need to be careful about giving that energy towa…

This isnt about “people” this thread is specifically about women changing their preferences from aggressive, toxic assholes to softer, ‘nice’ guys as they get older in their mid 20s and 30s. If you wanna make a case for a male example of this scenario you’re free to, but dont generalize this phenomenon as a gender neutral situation.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/22 01:11 AM

The mind can conveniently twist past memories to create a comforting narrative. Most likely at the time when you were 22, you did seek out guys who displayed some degree of toxic traits and probably found a safer guy boring. But now like you said, you had a disastrous dating record so now you need a nice guy to love you. Therefore it’s more comforting framing it from a psychoanalytical standpoint that you couldnt see the red flags at the time even though you likely could.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/22 01:09 AM
4

I didnt say that. I want a girl to value those things too, but she should find me physically attractive as well. I had a girl say she liked me but didnt find me “objectively good looking” and for me that just isnt good enough even though the rest of the relationship was good.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/22 01:00 AM

You are the classic of a woman who in her 20s primarily dates assholes then later in life comes up with some excuse
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/22 12:55 AM

Yeah, and the older women get the more the more they sacrifice a bit of the toxic masculine part in favour of a less imposing but more stable guy. Its quiet convenient for women isnt it

/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/22 12:31 AM

I don’t understand. I’m not saying I was dumped for being too nice. I said I wouldnt date a girl who had dated a bunch of assholes or toxic ex’s.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 11:44 PM
3

I guess the logic is this: I was never really any asshole to women, and in fact thought I was doing the right thing by doing so. So the fact that she not only didnt appreciate it back then but was even attracted to it, and now later in life when she wants stability wants a nice guy to settle down with, Im not gonna be the one she ends up with.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 11:34 PM
4

Instead of it being the case that I was always toxic and doing a “nice guy act”, have you considered that I used to be nice and naive, saw how other approaches worked better, and adapted? Do you expect nice guys to stay nice forever at the sacrifice of female attention?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 11:20 PM

Sorry I should elaborate: women are more attracted to toxic men. They sacrifice some of the attraction for emotional support when they want to settle down/get married

That would be nice but unrealistic
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 11:09 PM

It’s not that they’re good at playing nice, it’s that they’re balance their toxic traits with other traits girls find attractive (confidence, aggression, charisma, excitement, apathy, dominance) etc so the girl will turn a blind eye to the red flags in the beginning. But they are usually not so difficult to see

If you’re actively trying to ignore red flags because you’re attracted to him and want to make it work, then you do know hes toxic even subconsciously. I also call bullshit on the “good actors” thing. From a male pov it’s very easy to tell if a guy gives off a douchey vibe and likely just fucks a bunch of girls. But women purposely ignore these red flags when the guy is giving the attention to them, because of the attraction/excitement.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 10:21 PM
5

Even if it’s just younger women, if my gf was into badboys/assholes when she was younger then wants to settle down with me when shes older and its suddenly appealing, I wouldnt be interested in that.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 10:17 PM
12

If theyre young and impressionable, why are they more impressioned by toxic badboys than shy, sensitive nice guys? Its simply because the former is more attractive. But over time the emotional damage starts to outweigh the excitement/attraction.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 10:16 PM

I’m not saying I’m “better” than anybody. But I didnt prefer hot/bitchy girls only to suddenly want a nice girl afterwards, whereas I see a lot of girls get voluntarily used by assholes only to want a nice guy after to treat them better.

/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 09:46 PM

How so? My original post was that women are more attracted to toxic men. All Im simply saying is that eventually the pain of being abused/manipulated/stringed along for so long eventually outweighs the attraction/excitement.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 09:45 PM
2

You just said you like the attention from other men… so meaning my post is true
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 09:43 PM

Yeah but specifically things like patronizing women, being degrading, negging, ignoring, leaving on read… these things generally work a lot if the girl has an interest in you and shes younger (~18-23)
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 09:42 PM
2

I think you shouldnt watch porn in a relationship (or at all)
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 09:34 PM
21

No, its just that usually the toxic guys know they have options and arent invested in the girl, and eventually after enough time the girl gets tired of being used & abused realizing its not sustainable. but if a woman’s first instinct is to date the asshole, thats who shes most attracted to regardless of who she ends up with.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 09:34 PM

Ok, you should really open with the fact that you’re in an open relationship from the start. Your and I’s views on relationships and their purposes are completely different and we’re gonna have to agree to disagree.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 09:04 PM

In that case, why be in a monogamous relationship at all? If you aren’t jealous of the idea of your partner being attracted to other people, why not take it a step further and let them have fun with other people too?

Nobody is forever sexually attracted to their partner because people age, libidos lower and a lot of people stop putting in effort after a certain point. If you mean to say that you stop being attracted to your partner while still being attracted to other men, however, then I once again urge you to reevaluate your relationship because that just sounds like you chose a partner you’re not that sexually compatible with.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 08:01 PM
3

Standing there amicably and having a conversation with a drunk guy whos clearly trying to hit on you in itself isnt enough. I feel like if you love your partner you should actively and immediately shut down any men that try to talk to you, buy you a drink, make a joke, etc.. its called respect
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 07:59 PM
3

Nah, that sounds like some shit women tell their BF to make him feel better about the fact that some drunk better looking dudes made her wet
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 07:57 PM
0

My point is I consider drunken flirting/enjoying attention from men somewhat as cheating in itself but it seems like most women don’t view it that way
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 07:56 PM
2

You pity the woman I end up with because I don’t want her being attention thirsty and fantasizing about other men?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 06:43 PM
3

If seriously hope not every woman has your mindset.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 06:26 PM
2

If good looking drunk guys (or any guys) giving you attention makes you horny, even indirectly, and you are in a committed relationship I would reevaluate your loyalty to your partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 06:18 PM
4

But a lot of guys, myself included, have seen women do this kind of thing. Thats why it gets brought up a lot
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 04:43 PM
6

If you’re in a monogamous relationship, I believe you should only want attention from your spouse. Is that difficult to agree on?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 04:41 PM
2

Thats fine if it works for your relationship and causes no jealousy problems. For me im extremely possessive so I wouldnt be fine with that.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 04:36 PM
5

The vast majority of dudes definitely dont go out with their buds to ogle or feel up women, or swap nudes lmao. Swapping nudes is a teenage boy thing, and I dont know where would guys be going to grope women? At a strip club or something?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 04:13 PM
5

What bro time involves touching women??
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 04:11 PM
4

If shes not getting attention from her man at home it’s her job to vocalize that and solve the issue as a couple. Going out to feel sexy from other guys is a form of emotional cheating imo. Either communicate with your partner or end the relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 04:06 PM
2

Not all guys do
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 03:47 PM
7

I mean if she comes home wanting to have sex immediately after hanging out with a male friend that would be a huge red flag
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 03:33 PM
3

Does this change if youre drunk and the guy is extremely attractive?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 03:32 PM
2

ah yes, the blame somehow has to fall back on the man. It couldnt be that theyre equally 50% responsible for the failing relationship/dead bedroom.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 03:19 PM
2

Then theres no point in being in a relationship at all to me. Might as well fuck/cheat as much as possible.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 03:11 PM
-3

Its clearly not facts though if other women are saying they dont do this, its your subjective opinion
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 03:06 PM
5

See, if Im dating a girl and she comes home horny, but shes horny because of spending time with other guys. I dont consider that a win just because I get to have sex with her. I actually consider that a violation of loyalty .
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 03:05 PM
-1

you did though, you implied that women do this because they “need sexy attention “ and 1 man cant provide enough for them. That sounds like a bullshit justification to get attention from other guys to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 03:01 PM
6

Glad we agree on that at least, now can we agree you dont need guys to look at your boobs if you have a bf/husband too?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 03:01 PM
7

If you need attention from other guys you arent loyal to your partner
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 02:57 PM
4

That’s not why. The fear is because I consider it soft cheating, and it seems to be quite common.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 02:56 PM
-3

Im not asking for a justification on it. Im just asking if it happens and how common it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/22 02:54 PM
6

Except I dont ask them explicitly whether theyre fat, whereas they ask me how tall I am almost immediately before it turns sexual.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/22 02:10 AM
1

No, I said I want a relationship but if I find out she had casual sex with a bunch of other dudes, shes gonna turn into a pump and dump.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/22 12:52 AM
1

Based on most women in this thread, they’ll sleep with a guy they don’t care about and make the guys they actually like wait weeks for sex, so it doesn’t seem to really matter about what woman I end up with anyways. It seems much more time efficient to try and sleep with them right away, and then potentially build a relationship from there.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/22 12:41 AM
4

What I mean is that, the women I want to hook up with and the women I want a relationship with are generally speaking the same type of woman. I find it kind of psychopathic to compartmentalize guys as either relationship or one night stand material.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/22 04:13 PM
3

Do you go for the hottest girl possible? I don’t, and never have as long as she met my minimum degree of attraction. Im just coming to realize personality matters a lot more to me to than it matters for women.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/22 04:04 PM
7

I think it goes beyond that. Finding out you aren’t in the top 10% best looking males isn’t that big of a deal. But finding out for example that the girl you’re in a relationship with would’ve chosen other guys before you, even just for a ONS is a difficult pill to swallow.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/22 03:01 PM
0

Ill paste what I wrote in another comment: I totally get the logic from a woman’s point of view, you dont want to rush into sex with a guy you actually like because you dont want him to run off after right away and get your feelings hurt. From a guy’s pov though, the guys you’re just having fun with are winning in this situation. They’re getting to have sex/make out with a woman I actually like in less than 24 hours, and they didn’t even have to put in very much effort. Even as a guy who doesnt …

What does it mean then?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/22 01:32 PM

So if Im understanding right you’re basically pointing out how women compartmentalize the men they’re into and treat them differently based on their perception right?

/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/22 07:57 AM

Who says I ask about it? Usually it’s the girl that brings it up first.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/22 07:27 AM
2

No, Im going to try to trick them into liking me, sleep with them then ditch them afterwards. Id rather be the guy she regrets having a ONS/FWB with than the guy ending up dating a woman that got ran through in her early 20s.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/22 07:24 AM
3

I’m not saying she should be a slut for me. If I’m interested in a girl I don’t mind spending time together and waiting several dates before it gets intimate. But if I’m in a relationship with a girl and I later found out she had sex with a bunch of girls who she didn’t “make wait” (terrible term btw) it would make me less into her & question the relationship .
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/22 07:03 AM
1

Right, but the thing is when guys want a LTR they want to feel like they have someone special, not just a girl any guy could get with. Having a bunch of one night stands shows that she was easy to have sex with if you were in the right time and place + attractive enough, and makes being in a relationship less enticing

/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/22 06:11 AM

What a lot of women don’t realize is not only is sex a reward for guys, but when you really like a girl the idea of other guys having sex with her is actually like a desecration of something you love. Thinking of another guy dicking down the woman you love is like a muslim watching someone piss on a mosque. So even if i personally dont mind waiting a long time for sex, if I later found out in the relationship she made me wait for it but let another guy sleep with her in 1 night, it would make me…

You’re dodging the point completely. It’s not about hot vs funny, those are just 2 examples of traits. Its about the principle of I don’t want to wait for something that another guy gets upfront. That tells me that she’s either less interested in me than the guy she hooked up with right away, or that she values sex differently than me.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/22 05:33 AM

I didnt say that, and you dodged my question.

How do you know Im not? Maybe Im the funniest guy shes met in her life but just not conventionally hot. If she thinks I’m good enough for a relationship but not hot enough to hookup with I would personally consider that insulting.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/22 05:20 AM
4

like I said it’s not even about the sex, it’s about the principle of rewarding a guy earlier/more than me. If a girl usually puts out with other guys on the 2nd date then I would expect to have the same thing with her, otherwise I would assume she isn’t attracted to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/22 05:15 AM
6

Sorry I should clarify, I dont think status is why guys want to date hot women, the primary reason is to have sex with them. I just think theres more of a status symbol to having a “trophy wife” whereas guys in relationships often don’t need to be that good looking to have an attractive partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/22 05:08 AM
9

“Why am I taking a girl on 5 dates over the period of a month to get laid when she fucked that hot guy in 1 night?” I think is the general mentality. Honestly it’s not even about the sex, it’s about the idea of another guy getting preferential treatment, usually for simply being better looking.

I would say weight has very little to do with the quality of a man… plenty of successful men who have been scrawny, chubby, fat, brawny, toned, and everywhere in between. As far as height goes, no answer is as black and white as being an automatic death sentence. Still, there’s no denying that below a certain threshold, you will have a significantly harder chance of finding a woman. For example, a 5’6” guy is gonna be by default ignored by ~90% of the female population on that one physical trait…

You’re right that it’s not my job to judge which is more or less hurtful. My point was, in my opinion it’s much more insulting to be made fun of for something beyond your control. For example race, height, facial features, sex, these are just a few things beyond your control and not something anybody should feel humiliated for. Does that mean it’s less hurtful to make fun of someone’s weight? No not necessarily, and it’s equally as wrong to do so. But weight is significantly more about your life…

/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/22 01:46 PM
2

You realize its way more hurtful for to be rejected for something you cant change than something you can right? For example, im a skinny guy. If a woman rejected me for being too skinny, at least I can go to the gym and work out to get bigger; similarly men and women can lose weight. Guys cant grow any taller and women cant shrink any shorter. Your point works against you more than it helps you
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/22 01:15 PM
1

So I guess it comes down to what do you value more, the harsh truth or your feelings. Would you recommend this approach, or should someone just not give a reason or make up a nicer one?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/22 12:45 PM
3

“Sorry, you seem like a really nice guy but you’re a little too short for me” isn’t intended as an insult, although its certainly insulting
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/22 12:40 PM
1

Don’t a lot of skinny, beautiful women still struggle with weight issues, self esteem problems, EDs etc? Thats what ive heard anyways. Either way, I could similarly say that I dont feel short either at 5’10, but if a girl explicitly told me thats the reason she didnt want to date me it would still make me question like “damn”
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/22 12:22 PM

I think, generally, people assume men, in particular young men, are more toxic than women. I think that narrative needs to be challenged, because there are a lot of toxic women out there especially in gen Z.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/22 12:17 PM

Ok, clearly it goes both ways. I shouldnt assume its primarily women doing this to men, as you said some guys are insensitive and ignorant too. I just hope we can all agree that its rude behaviour

/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/22 11:00 AM

Thank you and btw I would never attack a girl for her weight or really any appearance feature like that, Im just saying it’s extremely common for dudes especially to get directly told they’re not short enough and almost expected to feel grateful about it. A lot of girls will say something along the lines of “aww, you seem like a nice guy but you’re too short for me, sorry.” not realizing how this is basically just lowering someone’s confidence about something they can do absolutely nothing about…

It doesnt matter if you think you’re fat or not, a lot of 5’9-5’11 guys don’t feel like they’re short but still get rejected for their height plenty of times. Is a girl being “nice” by being honest with a short dude about the reason he’s getting rejected? I disagree. I think based on the comments on this post it’s clear at least about half of women would think a guy’s an asshole or feel weird if a guy mentioned their weight specifically. Let me give you another common example. A guys texting with a girl for hours on tinder or something, she suddenly asks how tall he is, he says 5’8 or something like that and she ghosts/unmatches him. Again, you’re free to have your standards but its about the way you go about it that can be very rude. Especially if a guy did the same thing with a girl’s weight
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/22 04:48 AM

Its a lot easier for women to get confidence boost from other guys like that because a lot of guys will compliment women just to try and have sex with them

You still don’t get it. It’s not about preferences at all. I’m not asking women to go date 5’7 guys, or guys with thinning hairlines, or guys with dadbods, or guys with small penises. It’s about the hypocrisy of how many women will complain about feeling pressured by societal beauty standards and will defend and uplift each other, however they often don’t extend the same courtesy to men. There’s a cognitive dissonance there, almost as if guys arent capable of feeling bad about their appearance. …

Ive been ridiculed for my height, have overheard girls making fun of guys for being short and seen a million memes where they guys’ height was the butt of the joke. For example see the TikTok trend: “gaslighting my bf to think he’s short” where girls would text their bfs “do you ever wish you were tall?” and imagine if guys started texting their gfs “do you wish you were skinny” as a trend. If you think guys dont get mocked, not rejected —- Mocked, ridiculed, laughed at, humiliated, etc. for the…

This post isn’t about you specifically. Believe it or not, I don’t even know who you are. This post is about encouraging men to build each other up, while also challenging silly arbitrary standards of what masculinity should look like, and how men should be treated. I’m not saying don’t focus on looks. That’s against human nature. I’m saying if you are a good human being , you will have the self awareness to recognize what is your selfish perception of how others should be treated vs. how they a…

I’ve never shamed a woman for her appearance. Stop looking at the worst behaviours of the most toxic men and assuming all men follow the same bad behaviours. Anyone is free to date whoever they want. If you only want a 6’3 Adonis with an 8 inch cock and 6 figure salary by all means. Just dont treat men badly or less masculine for not reaching your standards. What you’re doing is employing a ‘whataboutism’ logical fallacy. I never said women should be shamed for their appearance, in fact Im again…

I dont know why you’re getting downvoted for voicing opinions, this is a very reasonable discussion. I dont wanna generalize either and say x group has a better support system, because its on a case by case basis, there are guys with fantastic support systems and women with little, etc. My point is traditionally I think women at least usually had their ‘shoulder to cry on’ whether it was their mom, best friend, partner etc. whereas guys had literally nobody (although I think thats changing in th…

I think a chubby guy would actually get much much more rude comments about weight today, because people don’t really feel bad about making fun of guys weight. Its kinda expected to “own it” as a guy and become the fat funny dude so to speak. Whereas its a delicate subject for women that I think most men wouldnt call a girl fat especially in person. I understand it goes both ways. My point is neither way should happen. I could be wrong but you seem defensive about me sticking up for guys. If a la…

When I say beauty standards I’m more so talking about treating people differently based on not meeting those standards. I couldnt care less if a girl only wants to date 6’3 guys as long as in social settings shes treating all guys the same regardless of their appearance. Regarding your 2nd point I will mention there are subreddits with 100,000s of subscribers for women with big labia. You will not find a similar thing for micropenises for example. I also dont think guys are judging women for dre…

Not saying they dont care but I think generally speaking most women will tolerate a little dad bod because they can relate in a sort of a sense of dealing with weight issues. However if youre a 5’7 guy automatically a large swath of the population wants nothing to do with you.
/r/MensRights17/08/22 11:54 AM

Men laugh about it with other men, but that doesnt stop women from judging us with harsh beauty standards.
/r/MensRights17/08/22 11:42 AM

Yeah true, that’s generally how guys operate. Our first instinct usually isn’t to heal ourselves but to fight back at the perceived threat with our own attack. However this isnt really productive for anyone…. I dont want girls to feel bad for being overweight, im just saying guys also shouldnt feel bad or ‘less of a man’ for not reaching some arbitrary bone length measurement.

One more point I forgot to add: when a woman gets body shamed she can post about it on social media and garner a lot of sympathy. Whereas men often have to laugh it off and take it on the chin to avoid looking weak and being ostracized both from potential dating partners and our male friends. To me this is a huge double standard

What did I do?

Obviously ‘promiscuous’ is vague, but I don’t think a body count of 5 is particularly “low” for a woman in her early 20s. I would think that’s an average number, probably because sex to me is extremely intimate and I’ve only been with 1 girl myself.

I know but I hear a lot of women in relationships fantasizing about these types of scenarios
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 06:32 PM
1

When i say nerd Im not talking about someone smart that wears glasses and likes niche hobbies, im talking specifically about a guy who’s socially awkward, sexually inexperienced, physically intimidating, etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 05:12 PM
1

I think if this happens often you’re with the wrong person but that’s my 2 cents from a single guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 04:21 PM
3

If a woman is fantasizing about getting gang banged or something and shes dating some middle class suburban guy shes not fantasizing about him in that situation.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 04:15 PM
1

Im not asking if the woman is unsatisfied, I’m asking if she fantasizes about other guys. My theory is that a lot of women settle down with guys who are less than their “ideal” standard of attractiveness, because the guy usually compensates by being extra caring, sensitive, attentive, loving etc. However I feel like there’s still an itch in the woman of this scenario to be with a more aggressive/dominant man that tends to play itself out in the woman’s fantasies.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 03:15 PM
5

Exactly what I mean. Theres a difference between looking at someone, thinking they’re attractive and then moving on with your day, vs creating sexual fantasies, having long term crushes on specific celebrities, talking to your partner about how hot x is etc
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 12:55 PM

Completely different, youre in a poly relationship.

You just completely ignored the point of the post. It’s not about the specific number its about the communication and psychology. You could use an average dick like 5-6 inches and most women would be fine with it but that doesnt mean they wouldnt prefer it to be bigger, it just means its not small enough to be a dealbreaker for them.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 10:41 AM

She can fantasize about scenarios/situations and we can explore them together. If shes fantasizing about other guys I dont want her even if she’s physically loyal.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 09:38 AM

You didnt answer my question, im asking how conmon is it for women in relationships to do this. You say it has nothing to do with being unsatisfied but I don’t think that’s entirely honest. I think a lot of times people end up with someone who satisfies their needs 80-90%, and that last 10% can be addressed in several ways including having fantasies. Regardless if this is “all the time” or not, I consider it mentally cheating.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 09:35 AM
1

Ok, you don’t see the big deal thats fine. Everyone has different boundaries and expectations. But to me it’s a very big deal and a dealbreaker in a relationship. So I would like to know how common it is, regardless of whether or not it’s considered a big deal or not.

It has absolutely nothing to do with getting left. That’s a huge misconception that I don’t know why women believe. I don’t want my girl fantasizing about other guys not because I’m worried about her leaving me for someone more attractive than me, but the very notion at all that she’s thinking about other men for sexual gratification ruins the relationship in itself. It’s not about panicking that some hot guy is gonna come steal her. It’s the fact that if shes with me, she should only want me ot…

That’s exactly my point, I dont watch porn and if Im with a girl Im making a conscious effort not to look at other girls, so I expect the same effort from my woman in return.

If my partner masturbates about other guys she’s from the streets and I don’t want her. Hearing this kind of behaviour justified as normal and/or common is pretty disgusting and a huge example of cognitive dissonance imo, because men are constantly scolded by their women for looking at other girls on social media, staring at other girls asses/tits, watching porn, etc. Women don’t want to admit that they do the same things. Regardless it’s all the more reason to not treat ‘marriage’ or ‘love seri…

You’re right that being in a relationship doesn’t make you blind however, there’s also an expectation that once you’re in a relationship you’re not gonna feel the need to look at other people than your partner.

I wouldn’t automatically assume you’re lying, in fact thats partly why I posted, to see if there was any women who didn’t do this and could give me hope that there are still loyal women out there. That being said if you look at some of the replies you can see I do have a point with this hypothesis.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 09:05 AM

What if I told you Im loyal to my girl and don’t feel the need to look at hotter ones? I know the tendency would be to think im lying or not being honest but im being truthful.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 09:02 AM
11

You’re right, which is why im asking on an anonymous platform where married people will hopefully be more honest than anyone would irl. Im asking you. do you fantasize about other people than your partner? Of course they can’t see into your thoughts, but you can surely see your own?

/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 03:27 AM

Ultimately it’s how she acts, but usually when girls are comfortable around you they’re pretty open about what they’re thinking.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 02:58 AM

With all due respect your partner was a virgin before meeting you based on your recent post so he wouldnt have the courage to stand up to you and say it makes him uncomfortable. Either that or he simply would think it’s normal behaviour because its his first serious relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 02:57 AM

Im saying if my partner gives me any indication that any men are more attractive to me I’m going to lose interest in her and either cheat on her, or have sex with her a few times then dump her.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 02:53 AM

Fantasizing about having sex with a celebrity is absolutely not fine in a relationship . Especially in the age of tiktok where someone can go from a nobody to famous in the span of a year. As far as fictional characters, I dont think women really fantasize about the characters themselves but rather the scenarios that the characters are involved in but i could be wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 02:51 AM
1

Yes im against both of those.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 02:48 AM
1

Ok then Im guessing you’re quite more attractive than your partner and have no worry of him leaving you. Most women would not feel comfortable with their partner calling other women hot especially if he’s a good looking guy .
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 02:29 AM
1

Thats not the point. Im not delusional enough to expect the best looking man my partner has seen. My point is if Im in a relationship I expect my partner to devote their full sexual energy to me, meaning no fantasies about other people, no comments about how hot other guys are, no smiling a little extra hard at the cute waiter, etc. I think a lot of women end up with insecure guys who never got a lot of experience with women, and take advantage of this by using the guy for the benefits of the re…

My past relationships were with girls who were relatively average looking, however because of my feelings for them I never felt the need to look at or think about other women anymore. Are you saying this same effect doesn’t exist when women get in relationships?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 02:20 AM

Any girl that’s ok with her husband calling other women hot is because she knows that shes been with significantly more men than he has women. im guessing thats the case for your relationship as well
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 02:14 AM

Be 100% honest: If Im dating a girl but I spend all day fantasizing about having sex with every girl I see, but just thoughts only. Is this not disloyal to my gf? I know damn well most girls wouldnt want to hear that, even call another girl hot in front of your gf and most women would get extremely upset.

I’m not trying to play the victim at all. The point of this post and these types of posts in general are to recognize patterns so that we (usually guys but can be women as well) can protect ourselves from being used. I don’t want to marry a woman only to find out 5 years in she thinks her coworkers way hotter than me even though she would never act on it, etc. It’s funny when I hear things like “I bet you’ve never talked to a woman” in response to these kinds of posts. How would anyone know ? Well it says you’re a wife, so I guess so you/have you fantasized about other guys in your relationship?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 01:21 AM

See, even you’re uncomfortable explicitly stating other women exist that are hotter than your wife, so you word it in a confusing way to avoid it. Meaning you recognize there’s something “wrong” about placing someone above your partner. Yet at the same time you acknowledge you aren’t the hottest man in your wife’s eyes and are seemingly ok with it, so why the double standard? Why are you uncomfortable admitting your wife isn’t the sexiest woman alive, while you willingly accept that you aren’t t…

But do you find any celebrity women hotter than your wife?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 01:12 AM

It’s not about thinking someone is attractive (an involuntary response) it’s about indulging in sexual thoughts, fantasies, verbalizing to your partner how hot x celebrity is, etc. (all conscious/compulsive acts)
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 01:10 AM

You’re right, you should appreciate your wife more too.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 01:08 AM

The difference is you put those men on a pedestal, because they have celebrity status and abnormally good looks. I dont view any men on a different “tier” than me, even if theyre a lot richer, more successful, better looking etc. I still expect loyalty even against those guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 12:59 AM

And you dont find that a betrayal of your partner’s trust?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 12:53 AM

Wait… your girl has celebrity crushes? The girl you’re in a relationship openly thirsts for the dick of hot celebrities? Im so sorry to hear that, would be an instant dealbreaker for me.

I dont think thats right either.

Ok rephrase the question about boyfriend/girlfriends then instead of married couples? How common are fantasies about other guys
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 12:30 AM

Thats not really fantasy though thats usually just visual stimulation, im more talking about “let me fantasize about some hot guy doing some kinky shit to me my husband would never do”
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 12:28 AM
2

Thank you for your reply. When you had a dry spell with your husband and weren’t attracted to him for that period of time, how did you satisfy your needs? Porn? Talking to strangers? Fantasies? Etc? Of course theres no black or white distinction between nerdy and masculine guys and most fall somewhere in between like you said.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 12:26 AM

/r/MensRights09/08/22 07:45 PM

That’s very disingenuous of you. If you read with an open mind you will understand that I “see a lot of posts” demonizing men for their neglect/failures in their relationships while women are rarely generalized in such a way without criticism and usually post removal. Most of my experience with toxic girls comes from girls ive dated/talked to periodically as well as girls who emotionally wrecked and cheated on my friends.
/r/MensRights09/08/22 07:14 PM

And?

Im not the only one noticing the huge amount of women being diagnosed with BPD rn?
/r/MensRights09/08/22 02:09 PM

In my opinion it’s for 2 reasons: 1. women are excited by a little bit of danger, this is very evident based on my dating experience. anything i said or did that conveyed the idea of the bad boy was ‘hot’. And 2. emotionally abusive men are more likely to be attractive than average or unattractive men, and are often given much more passes in the relationship even if the woman knows hes a jerk
/r/MensRights09/08/22 12:38 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
