Customer service bullshit is infuriating i agree. But i think it is just one of many social manipulations. I feel like conversations with dudes do not have as much social manipulation. It is all about money so dudes will likely not even judge on superficial things like the way females do. I guess that is what gets to me.

I don't want to sound corny or anything, but i keep a journal. It helps because i can let out my thoughts and feelings and i understand myself better, for instance about insecurities. My decision to avoid interacting with women is because they likely trigger some of these insecurities. If i were left to journaling, i might rationalize my decision. So, i appreciate that in a sub like this i can get feedback so i'm not only confirming a faulty way of living. Anyway, i hear you. I'll have to stay v…

First of all, thanks for your ideas on this issue. Your position definitely makes sense. I would like a future like that. I about to hit 30 in about a year and i think that stress-free lifestyle is something i want even more than marriage or a family.

Thanks for your feedback. Just to be clear, i'm talking about females i am not acquainted with. I have a few female friends and it's not weird. Anyway, i mention that i am insecure because i seem to feel judged. But that does not mean i care what they think. In fact, all i would want is the invisibility of a gray man (and we had a discussion about this sometime back). Maybe i could benefit from CBT.

Props to you for putting the work in your life and professional career and taking pride in it. I get that 'giver' expectation, but it's good you know your value and respect yourself enough to keep away from such women.

I wonder what's the difference between PUA and the average 'Chad.' Like, they both give women the right emotional cues and feelings. But at the end of the day, the PUA will be publicly shamed because his 'game' is artificial or made up. What does it really matter anyway?
/r/MGTOW223/09/19 09:50 AM

I do agree: "Both genders are equal amount of perpetrators and victim in this." I don't think PUA are inherently bad for manipulation. It's better than being an incel and hating women. I think they just take advantage of what women want, as you explain. That is also what women do with men. So, for me, even though i don't have the patience for it, i cannot fault the guy at all

I feel you brother. High school and even college at times is pure madness. I went through the same experiences as you did except for me i was like a sidekick to the jock. Someone who was a really nice guy but who foolishly cared too much how i came off to girls. I've come to learn that is usually the problem. Do you and be your best self for you and don't mind the girls. I was in the friendzone with this one girl for the longest time and we would fool around. But in retrospect, i was being weird…

I think i'm overthinking this too. Sometimes i feel like if i need to alienate myself from women, then i'm no better than blue-pilled men because i have given women too much power over my life. MGTOW should be easy. It's funny that you mentioned "warm body occupying the seat next to them" because that was literally the situation i was in that triggered these thoughts. The girl actually reached out to me about checking out for her seat and stuff and i said "okay". And then it was just silence fro…

Lol. Reminds me the other day i met a friend of mine and he was chatting with this chick i did not know. So, after catching up and basically going about my business, i realized like 30 minutes later that i only greeted the guy and did not even shake the chick's hand. lol. I think my mind just edits out women in public.

IMO, it is okay to have a close relationship with any female who doesn't think you're just one of those men who just wants to fuck her or marry her. That kind of thinking is what messes up friendships in my opinion.

I was at a job interview some few days ago and was asked if i've married. I said no. Now reading this, i wonder if they need guys who have not married to pick off the slack for those 'emergencies' among coworkers. I absolutely hate doing something like that because it seems to me like a lack of respect. Respect is huuuge for me. Ideally, i would rather just say i'm not married and never ever bring it up or shoot it down whenever it's brought up by coworkers. It is ultimately my private life and …

I think you just have to figure out (seriously) what it is you want in your life. Because it's like all your goals seem to be outsourced. Clearly, you can be a competitive person, so if you identify your purpose, you will become the 'alpha male' you always strived to be albeit in the wrong ways. And once you're working on your purpose, it's not a rat race. It's just you living your dream. Anyway, i will not comment on the midlife crisis because i haven't experienced it myself. When i see guys struggling to act chivalrously towards women, i joke and tell them to let feminism win. But it is really not a joke for me. If feminists want equality of the genders, then chivalry is obsolete and you can be yourself. Also, feminists point out that males chasing after women is not appropriate. And for this they have apps like Bumble which essentially makes women judges of men. It's not like they weren't before (in other apps), but Bumble makes it official. This makes it clear eno…

As said in the OP, most guys in MGTOW are allergic to feminism. I don't know why, personally. Unless feminists invade my personal path in life, let them get the women all the rights they want. Clearly, any man giving into feminist ideologies is blue-pilled to a great extent.

Trying to please others could be your own way of trying to compensate for how you feel about yourself. Ironically, i think that you may help your situation by actually being an active listener. And by that i mean you let other people tell you stuff about their day, their life, and you actually listen. You will realise that everybody is 80% just worried about their own stuff. And if you want to help someone, you will understand why they need your help and hence you'll be nice in the kind way. In …

Nowadays, i don't think one can do NoFap and MGTOW together. Some dudes on NoFap are only doing it because they want to look more attractive to girls, get validation from them, and possibly a girlfriend. So, as a MGTOW, it is difficult to be motivated by such posts. But hey, if that feminist convinced you that you're not MGTOW, all the best with that goal in NoFap.

Yeah, i have a friend who always thinks i'm single because women did something to me. But even if one of them did, i don't really remember it. It seems that this is bothering you a lot. So, let's consider this. Say you do decide to leave MGTOW and get a girlfriend. You have some good times, and some not-so good times. And eventually it doesn't work out. At that point, your friends will not take the blame for you being in that situation. It will be just "the way it goes" or they will blame the girl, you, or practically anything else. And because you will probably remember that red pill stuff and reason from there, you will be extremely …

I don't see the point of restricting women in this sub. Most guys complain about how bad the world is because of them and i think it's only reasonable for them to read it and possibly change their ways. lol. But in all seriousness, MGTOW means Men Going Their Own Way so any woman coming to this sub will find it hard getting any attention thrown her way the way she wants.

Women would show interest but lost interest once they realized I didn't have enough money or wasn't a fun guy. Being a fun guy and having money are one and the same and they are all a woman needs in a guy. I usually watch movies and even real life and i see 'loving couples' and ask myself whether the woman would have stayed if the guy did not have a cool ride, a good house, or just the promise of a prosperous future. I think the fallacy of dating is that women want a nice and loving guy. But rea…

I'm assuming that by 'girl-friends' you mean friends who are girls or a friend who is a girl. Of course you can have those. I actually think that in some aspects it might actually be healthy to engage with them and see the species in its habitat (lol). You will still remain MGTOW if you don't marry or cohabitate or pine after your friend who is a girl. And most importantly, define yourself and don't let them define you (i.e. believing things about yourself because they think that of you).

True. Those kinds of men only want to drag him to their rat race because that's where they have experience. That's where they find their value. But a MGTOW knows better. Your friends are kinda mean bro. But let me say this, no guy is boring. If you have interests and hobbies, you're not mean. Reading some comments here and it seems like people's understanding of MGTOW is different. That is okay. The true difference between TRP and MGTOW is that the TRPer is bound to end up in a long term commitment while the MGTOW will not end up in a long term commitment. While a MGTOW does not openly seek sex like a TRPer, he might have sex once in a while but it is up to him because he has his life and desires in check.

I don't know about you but I'm not out here fishing for compliments. Compliments make me uncomfortable because it's like you owe someone a compliment or at least your attention and a thank you. It's even more awkward if it's a girl giving you a compliment and she is a stranger. Maybe she is making fun or something (with her friends) . Anyway, these are things i would rather not worry about. I am kind of confused by your reply man. I like the points you make and despite that fact that you criticize my logic, i think we agree on most of the arguments that you make (for instance in my comments to others' replies). Let me explain this because it is what you point out: "so that you don't go MGTOW the hateful way that some guys here on Reddit will make you do. Instead, you understand that women are people. Some are not bad. And some are just as demented as the men who go for them. Basica…

I get your drift, and thank you for the reply. But i think for me, i would rather focus that red pill on myself. Like in the past, i allowed myself to be manipulated, to be taken advantage of. So that enrages me. Sure, that's what most women like to do. And as you have said, women are hypergamous by nature. But the fact that i would allow myself to be swept into their games when i actually do not need anything tangible from those interactions is just pathetic. So, while it is important to digest…

You're right. I will leave that definition of what it means for a marriage to work out to speculation. Obviously, i know some economic background and it is perceptible that diminishing returns still apply to marriage itself. So, let's leave it to the married couples to figure out what 'work out' actually means. And by the same token, let's also acknowledge that it might seem to not be working out for them because we don't think it looks the way we think it should look. Anyway, while i appreciate…

I think you're right on that. Basically don't think with the wrong head. lol. The thing is, most men, including myself, cannot just will sexual desire away. Okay dude, sex is overrated. That we agree on. As a matter of fact, if any man is avoiding going his own way just because he needs sex (even though MGTOW is his path), i would just say get a prostitute and fix that need. That's what i would do. Anyway, i don't get that "women dies inside your brain" thing but i will say this. I may acknowledge women in life and even become civil or friendly with them. I understand your point. Let me say this, though. There are obviously many unhappy couples out there and many men about to get their worlds overturned by divorce and alimony. In that case, that glittery marriage and woman was certainly not gold. But i think there have been successful marriages as well. Now, before MGTOW gained the acronym, confirmed bachelors have existed for a long time. I don't believe these bachelors were necessarily bachelors because they thought women are bad or anything. T…

My friend, i understand what you're saying about that marriage thing. But honestly, if we talk about it in realistic terms, strictly probability, some guy somewhere is certainly having a good marriage with a good woman. I have fought against this possibility in the past because i thought women are rubbish etc. But really, it's just plain denial. I refused to accept that there could be some good marriages somewhere so that it made sense for me not to blame myself for not thinking about marriage f…

Yes, at times it's easy to start comparing oneself with others and its downhill from there. So, it's also being civil and compassionate to oneself. I say that because when i started going my own way, i hated myself for it. I thought it was all my fault. But then i understood myself and that i was just responding to other people's expectations of me. So, basically, be civil with your adversaries and kind to yourself as well.

i will have to agree with you on that. I mentioned in a reply i made to that 'MGTOW hierarchy of needs' that i believe my process has been the stages of grief and i am at acceptance. The thing is that we should realize it doesn't necessarily stop there. It can go over once again from denial and then up to acceptance. So staying at acceptance is not a thing unless you work at it. That red pill rage rhetoric definitely does not help.

First off, no one is programmed to do anything other than mate with the most ideal specimen but as rational human beings, we have the ability to control our behavior. Therefore, women who are bad are not programmed that way; they simply choose to be that way. And hence, MGTOW do not blame women because they're women. Rather, a few mgtow blame SOME women because of the choice they have made. Now, with that being said, MGTOW is fundamentally about self-improvement aside from relationships/marriage…

Women will always pressure men into marriage because we have different phases of life. Like, for a girl, the sweet spot is 25 to around 35 years. In those ten years, he can get any man she wants so she will usually go for a guy whose loaded, or a gym rat with poor life choices. But then she nears that 35 years and all of a sudden her biological cycle kicks in. For a man, you can have kids well into your 40s. And not only that, look at yourself in your forties and you'll see that that is the best…

This is an interesting reply and i appreciate the arguments you make. First off, what makes a man an 'average man'? I would say it is the aspirations and the achievements that he has so far at the given time. So, i would argue that men should not settle themselves for marriage life, turn around and think of themselves as average and consequently feel unaccomplished deep-down after all is said and done. Basically if a man aspires to anything, he should pursue that thing FIRST before being distrac…

I get that idea about men dating down and women dating up, but i mean to say that even in that dynamic, even an ugly man can get a woman, provided he isn't picky. So that's not difficult. But what is difficult is actually making something out of his 'ugly' self (that's not connected with pleasing the woman he chose).
/r/MGTOW208/08/19 09:31 PM
1

That's it. Because most guys want a particular girl and so what do girls do? They all basically switch to basically that kind of girl (looks, personality). I have a theory that social media is homogenizing people rather than opening up people's perspectives. Anyway, it doesn't matter.

Self-respect, self-reflection, and self-improvement are not an invention of MGTOW. If they did not work on them, then they are clearly using MGTOW for attention, i.e. faking it for the female's interest.

It's that scheme called chivalry that magically persists in this era of gender equality.lol.

I agree. But those who post on here i don't think seek any attention from women as obviously there shouldn't be any woman here. Seeking attention out there is just pointless because usually, a guy going MGTOW and then seeking attention would likely have a type. And if that type does not show him the time of day, then he may develop some rage. And to stop that, we have that "no women-hating policy", i.e. this MGTOW is not for that guy. Personally, I shy away from suggesting that all women are the…

I recently heard that statistic that women on Tinder swipe right on like 20% of the dudes while guys swipe right on 65% of the chicks. So, girls clearly go off looks. But i also think that given some time and more interaction, the girl can still get attracted to a short Asian or Indian guy if he is confident and has a good personality. I also see that trend. That's why i find it hard to watch some genres of movies. I agree with that logic. I like how she was saying that today women do not look at marriage as a forever thing. A time comes when they think they are not happy so they opt out. And to add on to that point, the woman has actually dealt with her biological clock if she had kids, so the guy is basically just garbage. But garbage that pays back after divorce. What inconceivable reason would men have to put themselves in that position? Beats me.

You can totally live without a woman's affections. But the point is that you have to replace that need with something. Monks replace it with faith and gay men replace it with, well, other gay men's affections. I just think that it's not healthy to fill that part with a hatred for women. It's also useless btw (women don't care you're MGTOW) . It's better to fill it with an urge for adventure whatever that means to you. P. S. I am MGTOW. I get to live the most enjoyable and productive life i can.

PS - You'd have to cut your testicles and not your penis, silly. Wait, if you cut off your testicles, does that mean that you would never get hard? And if you did ever get hard, would it not because you desire sex? By the way, i think sex drive is in the mind. It's not a matter of T.
/r/MGTOW201/08/19 12:36 PM

I agree with your analysis. Honestly, if you look at it, romance and dating is nothing more than a power-play of sorts. I also struggle to believe that a guy can shun women for ten years or more and the suddenly wake up one day and decide to marry one. That affair would be doomed to fail from the start because he would always avoid turning into a simp which is what the woman would expect. So the inevitable would happen - divorce and the woman ends up with half his assets.

For one, most of the older men here on MGTOW rarely complain about their children, which indicates that they got some satisfaction from having them. Great reply here! We live in a society that thinks marriage makes a man's life better - that "woman's touch." But as men, we have to really think about it. Because the topic of surrogacy for single men is a taboo subject. That is not why i say i don't want to get into a relationships because if that were the case i would date the angelic men who would offer the perfect relationsh…

Honestly if you get with a chick on Bumble, you deserve to be walked all over. Because you fully submitted yourself to be rated by a female, so you will feel like you ought to prove yourself. Bumble might claim to give females the power to initiate but you're dumb to think that that's where that power stops. I totally agree with your research btw

Relationships might work for some people. I hope yours works out. Honestly, the 'mantras' in this sub makes so much sense for someone who has been in a long relationship, been cheaten on and dumped. Now he looks back, notices some common patterns and the wasted time and money, then credits these mantras. Younger men like myself believe these mantras FIRST before the show even starts, precisely because we know ourselves. We know how it ends and we don't want that. It may seem ridiculous to people…

I can totally relate to this!! I am about 26 years of age, and I'm about to finish my MBA. Actually, i paid the last of the fees for that last month and I'm now just grinding the homestretch. After this i have literally nothing to do besides pay rent and food. I am unemployed but i get good online gigs. If i decide i will get a job, i'll do it for a while no problem. I do art on the side so that's my true passion and what i hope to be doing in the end. I just got so happy the other day when i wa…

I totally agree.. I really hate that romance is basically the guy being monkey until the girl is satisfied. I have never been okay with it even when i used to do it in my blue pill past. Your description is just red pill gospel. Amen!

This is very helpful, thanks for taking the time to write this. Judging by these questions, it think i should end this friendship immediately and look for some other friend.

Maybe the awareness of red pill might suffice at the moment. But if you continue to see that you want MGTOW, then apply it to yourself.

You say stop trying to get a gf which shows that deep inside you kind of want one. Which is not bad. I would say stop trying to get a gf and let the girl find you! Because you're totally worth it. And to prove that to yourself, pick one thing. Say you would like to learn to play a guitar. Make it so that by the end of the year you're a master at that. And surely enough, you will realize your value and your lust will find appropriate outlets. I would not advice jerking off because i did it for li…

You're absolutely right! I don't get these superpowers criticism. Like, if I'm on NoFap and i see a huge change in my life, that is superpowers FOR ME! That's all that is important.
/r/MGTOW214/07/19 06:48 AM

This is enough guys! How comes people who are criticizing NoFap are those who don't struggle with the addiction? Like, do you even know how it is. Can you tell a drunk that sobriety is dumb when you don't know how it feels to be constantly drunk? NoFap is the same. It may be dumb or made-up, but if it makes sense to people dealing with the addiction, that's all that matters. Mind your own shit.
/r/MGTOW214/07/19 06:44 AM
1

That is understandable. But personally, i think the life i live on NoFap is worth it, i.e. more focus, i achieve more, interact more, and generally feel better about myself. Now if were to fall back and tell myself that i am preventing the chances of prostate cancer, i get addicted, rarely get to focus, i achieve less, and generally feel bad about myself and my life. It is definitely a trade-off, but i think No Fap life is the better quality life and that's what's important to me. In any case, t…

The fact that fapping is easily available makes stopping oneself difficult. From experience, i can tell you that NoFap is totally worth it. It's benefits are not bullshit. I haven't really done escorts but i think it's something that is easier to avoid getting addicted. Anyways, its NF for me.

We have fooled around but she did turn down sex. Lol. Come on, mock me! Seriously though, i got over it and i actually don't desire her anymore. I want to show her that i am no longer hanging out with her for sex. But after reading the comments here, i think this friendship has gone sour. She's fun sometimes but then she like to ignore/keep silent about stuff and i have to say them outright, which usually makes me angry and stressed.
/r/MGTOW211/07/19 07:52 PM

I am actually doubting whether this friendship is worth it. Because if I'm being honest, i want to say "I'm not coming to meet you only for me to figure out what we'll be doing and then i pay for those activities." If i can't say that, i should probably cut this off.
/r/MGTOW211/07/19 07:48 PM

It goes beyond the bill, sadly. Sometimes it's like i carry the fun train solely. FYI, i am referring to my blue pill age (which is where our friendship comes from).
/r/MGTOW211/07/19 07:45 PM

I think you're right. What is difficult for me is to assert myself in my red pill mentality that i have now (i knew her from blue pill days).
/r/MGTOW211/07/19 07:43 PM

I am a bit cautious about paying for sex because that can become addictive and then it will end up taking just as much money as having a constant partner. The only good thing is that with a hooker, you have sex when YOU want. The downside, of course, is that the woman probably doesn't enjoy it as much. That is controversial to say in this sub but i think sex is much better when the woman is into it. I wouldn't know, but i guess. lol. From logic. So, ask yourself, do you want to have sex when you…

I completely agree. I am working on a No Fap long streak and your reply makes so much sense right now. I'm thinking about approaching NF like improving my mental health because that's what it feels like to me. I swear, if this group had messages like yours instead of subtle women bashing and semantic-based discussions that i fall prey to, we would all be 90% along in improving our lives. Thanks.

Sex is not the problem. If you are extremely clear that you do not want children and you take the appropriate precautions, then you can enjoy a healthy sex life. Risks are always there to be managed, not avoided, IMHO.

That is true. But what i would argue is that for someone like myself who has not even figured out to socialize, MGTOW may make things more testy by keeping me from fun experiences that involve groups. Btw, i have learned on this sub that activities that have been suggested 'for fun' are mostly solitary.

I think i get your point now. Defending MGTOW might sometimes be like sanitizing the 'Incel elements' within the group. But, honestly, i don't think the alternative (marginalizing ourselves) helps matters either. It's good to take ownership of one's beliefs. Maybe if someone you care about and who you care for gets these false notions of what MGTOW is, it is prudent to take a minute and explain MGTOW. Because no one else will. There are concepts we can agree on that set us up as true MGTOW, for …

A wise man once said that philosophical debates have a tendency to argue their philosophy out of existence. I like that your post seems rational and sensible enough and i agree with most of the things you say. But at some point, we have to give some definiteness to MGTOW. And that is through conversational wisdom with wise guys like yourself. If for nothing else, then to prevent people like me from sliding into being arrogant damned men who 'move out of the box' a bit too far (this could also be…

I am shocked that someone would call out your logic on that comment. I think it's kinda delusional to think that MGTOW is about 'doing your thing' and damn the consequences. That is the kind of approach that leads to instant gratification and a harsh pain afterwards (van by the river). But hey, it's their life!

I find it pointless to argue such things. Happiness just comes down to being able to create relatively constant and sufficient doses of dopamine or feel good hormones to your brain. Then if that's the case, when you're single, technically you have the widest choices as far as activities to derive dopamine rather than when you have to do something your partner needs you to do. This is precisely why single people are happy especially in later years when married people's relationships have plateaue…

I have probably been weird but i don't think i have been fortunate enough to be creepy. lol. I think smiling is overrated. If you smile so much but are not really an extrovert then what are you? A creepy weird guy. I would just say, just be doing something all the time. That will save you from overthinking social situations and it will also let other people approach you when they want something genuine, not simply because its awkward. About the tribe of guy friends, it's pretty difficult to cult…

First off, there's a lot of information about studying female psychology. I'm sure these people mean well by that advice and go for it if you want. But for me, i have absolutely no interest in studying female psychology. It is a slippery slope my friend and i can tell you that from my experience. I have read such material in the past and tricked myself into thinking that i have finally understood women. That made me pine after women more. It's pointless. So, today, i just see women as a whole di…

I agree that MGTOW is all about taking charge of YOUR life and YOUR choices. Awareness of the biological and hypergamic (is that a word?) games in which people are engaged makes any pestering to marry quite laughable. It is all hormones, after all. I think transcending that is itself a great advancement and evolution as a man. Anyway, i think what i enjoy about MGTOW most is that no one is sucking my bank account dry.

There was a phase when i was so much into texting. I would start these chats and basically i felt like it was up to me to keep the life going in those chats. That really sucked and i would get frustrated about them sometimes. Like, how comes it was the guy who made the effort in chats? Well, i quickly moved out of that phase and as soon as i did, i began to see that dynamic happening in other areas of life. It was up to the guy to give the girl a good time. And since that is how they are conditi…

I relate with this so much! I went through a phase in my life when i would just devour pick-up books and practice some stuff just be interesting. Now, the awkward thing was that when i returned back to school (that was in college), i found out to my utter shock that my best friend had been reading a certain pick-up book that i loved so much. He was into the same stuff! The difference between us was that he seemed to get it. Girls were always into him. And i would talk to the same girls and they …
